Chapter 27

Wizard’s Tower got a shoutout from BlaiseCorvin on his Royal Road fiction Apocalypse Cultivation.

In order to thank the author, I snuck away from my ever-expanding surveillance team, and took a road trip to find and dig up the-artist-formerly-known-as-prince's grave and send Blaise his bones. I figured any author that named his story's apocalypse purple rain HAD to be a Prince fan. And what gift would truly impress a Prince fan more than the body of The Artist himself?

Unfortunately, I had a lot of trouble finding the gravesite. It's not the obvious one, I'll tell you a night of frantic digging proved that. So, after more than a week of trying, I just dug up someone else's grave, dressed them in velvet, and mailed the bones to him. It's not like he could tell the bones apart, anyway.

If you stumble upon this tale on Amazon, it's taken without the author's consent. Report it.

Now I won't go into details about how hard it is to arrange shipment of human remains, especially when the darn guy at the counter kept crying and asking 'why did you do this to nana?', but I will tell you that it wasn’t satisfying to me as a way to say thank you.

So, with the song "When Doves Cry" playing in the background, I offer this shoutout:

BlaiseCorvin, author of many great litrpg titles like Delver's LLC, has a story for free on Royal Road. The story of a mage-turned-cultivator adventuring in the ruins of post-apocalyptical America, Apocalypse Cultivation offers an interesting and exciting tale you might enjoy.

UPDATE:

Story moved to Amazon or something. Contacted the author for more details and he told me his "knives were amazing". Not sure if that was a threat or bragging, so I disengaged and reported the matter to the NRA. Because guns are better than knives.
