Found a new story I liked, The World I Froze in Time, by Tim_Saian. About a superpower low-ranking ganster with cool stuff happening. Made me do something I probably shouldn't have to get my thank you out to the writer for writing it.
Well, I've gotten to know the team of federal agents responsible for my surveillance pretty well over the last week. They like coffee way too much. Phil is a hockey fan. One lady was responsible for returning a box of feral kittens that somehow got mailed off the other day. A third was the fella who had to explain to some state police yahoos that falling ice daggers were not actually a form of terrorism. Good folks.
And Carl. I found out that Carl tends to take naps in the surveillance van when he should be watching me. Good for him and good for me. Because his nap was what allowed me to contact a few different people from opposing organized crime families to show up at a potluck at Tim_Saian's house.
The tale has been taken without authorization; if you see it on Amazon, report the incident.
Of course, that kinda thing doesn't happen every day, so I thought it would be extra special way to say thanks.
But I regret it. Not the inevitable gunfight that happened after a ravioli debate got outta hand, that's kinda expected. I regret that I took advantage of Carl. He's pretty mad at me that he doesn't get to take his naps anymore.
To make it up to Carl, I decided to give the story a normal shoutout too, just to show him I was capable of it:
The World I Froze In Time is worth checking out. I binged the whole thing this past weekend and enjoyed it immensely. Kinda superhero/supervillian setting in a crime ridden city with all sorts of awesomeness. I don't wanna gkve to much away, but I liked it.

UPDATE: Story went on Hiatus. Not sure why. Might be my fault.... need to stock up on more tequila to limit liability.
