Saturday night Wizard’s Tower got a shoutout from Zendran, author of The Great Core's Paradox.
To thank the author, I first investigated adopting a time snake. Unfortunately, those aren't available at my local pet store. Despite confirming that I wanted a time snake and that I was perfect minion material, they simply didn't have any in stock. So I resorted to the internet, and was thrilled that I found one on ebay.... until I received a used gym sock from the 1970s.
I was honestly pretty shocked that: 1. Someone kept that. 2. It hadn't been washed in 50 years. And 3... That it technically qualified as an antique and I had to pay an extra tax on it.
So, with my hopes of adopting a time snake now sealed in a one gallon bag at the bottom of my trash can, I offer my thanks another way:
Reading on Amazon or a pirate site? This novel is from Royal Road. Support the author by reading it there.
The Great Cores Paradox was a story I was reluctant about reading. I'd seen it on RR for months. I don't know why I hadn't picked it up before. Maybe the premise of a snake dungeon monster eating a dungeon core just didn't stir my interest for whatever reason.
Then, after I got the shoutout, I started reading and just didn't stop. 78 chapters / 400+ pages all read in one day. My eyes hurt, I'm tired, but it was completely worth it. In my opinion. If that sounds interesting to you, you can read it here:

Update 1: Book 1 is now on Amazon!
Update 2: Please don't send anonymous pics of dirty and/or used gym socks to Zendran. He's not happy with me about that. That being said... I wonder is Nodragons was responsible....
It would explain the early onset toe fungus stuff.
