So, there I was, minding my own business, when I found a new story on Royal Road that seemed kinda interesting. A story called The Glint Spear.
So I ignored it, because... well there's like hundreds or thousands of new stories on Royal Road all the time or something. Numbers aren't my friend. And I like a story to have a good bit of pages to read before I start on it, ya know?
Then, the next chapter posted a day or later, and all this week a new chapter posted. So I thought to myself: 'Self, you're very good looking. You should've been a movie star.' Which led to an unfortunate amount of duck-faced selfies that I will never discuss again.
After being stopped by yet another three letter agency for stockpiling potential wmds (a law passed to label my selfies as wmds? I thought govt worked slow!), I went back to that story and gave it a read.
If you spot this narrative on Amazon, know that it has been stolen. Report the violation.
And was impressed, thoroughly, with it. Fun and entertaining. And so I hired two exmilitary criminals who's civilian lives had become about robbing other criminals (which may or may not have been a sting operation against me, who knows?) to deliver this packet of selfies to Ratmin, the author of that story. It was the least I could do for writing so well.
A day later, my wife approached me with concerns about why my pictures were being used on billboard ads and makeup commercials, and I knew I had been had.
So now, I offer this shoutout instead:
The Glint Spear. Hot! New! Exciting! Action! Drama Action! Romance Action!
