On Thursday, Wizard's Tower got a shoutout from the author DragonOfRochester's story When Immortal Ascension Fails Time Travel to Try Again. After a quick google search to find out if that's the longest book title in existence (it's not), I decided to thank the author in a less extreme way than I have in the past. See, I have several legal documents that prevent me from leaving my home, city, county, state...etc. at the moment, so I had to think of a way to say thanks that could be done from home.
So I searched online for orphanages with websites and submitted requests for more information to be sent to her home. While ideally I would have just adopted several dozen children in her name and dropped them off at her house, I figured this was the next closest thing.
If you discover this narrative on Amazon, be aware that it has been stolen. Please report the violation.
Still, I felt like it wasn't enough. No, I really wanted to provide her orphans, and couldn't do that. So, now, on top of the plethora of choice reading material she will get shortly, I also offer a shoutout back:
When Immortal Ascension Fails Time Travel to Try Again, is an awesome comedy/satire that pokes fun at many of the ridiculous xianxia tropes. That's the hook that draws readers in, BUT the story is sneaky good! By the time I got to the end of the chapters posted, I was PISSED that there wasn't more to read. It's well worth checking out, in my opinion.

Update: To whoever left an unattended infant on her doorstep, please come back to pick it up. She has indicated the diapers are changed and the baby has been fed. Remember: babies should be dropped off at IKEA first to drain their souls BEFORE dropping them off at random author's homes.
