This past Wednesday, Wizard’s Tower got a shoutout from Epikos, author of the new trending story Realmshaker.

In order to thank the writer, I hired a "shaman" from the unemployment line downtown to orchestrate the ritual that would send me 500 years into the future. I even blindfolded myself while the fella chanted. Well, about 20 mins into the ritual, when I stopped hearing the toneless lyrics from In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida, I realized the man had taken off. It was really disappointing because I had spent at least five minutes painting the stones in the stone circle with his identified runes.

With my hopes of the magical time-travel form of thanks dashed, I decided perhaps offering my a thank you via return shoutout were in order.

Realmshaker, a story quickly rising up the trending list, is worth reading, imo. The author's style presents it like a traditional fantasy novel that reminds me of Conan the Barbarian, and does an excellent job of immersing the reader into their world.

*Update: this story has gone to amazon (REALMSHAKER Book 1 is officially on KU!), and talks with the author tell me that the continuing of the story might be delayed as he takes on other projects. Other projects include...uh... stories.... or... uh... writing... um... something! He's doing something.
