Spaizzzer, author of Tree of Aeons, gave Wizard's Tower a shoutout. (Why am I just now telling you? Well, you see, there was a time skip... and... yeah.) So in order to thank the author, I went to get them a gift only to be confounded by a logic problem.
See, at first, when I looked at ToA, I thought '1900 pages?!? Huh, must REALLY like trees.' But then, it occurred to me that they were writing a book... which normally coincided with dead trees. So did they like trees or not? Is this some kinda of self-hating tree writing this story?
Then, I started reading it. And it's a great story, BUT.... it didn't get me any closer to an answer. In fact, it got worse. On one limb, story about trees. On another limb, books=tree death. And on the third limb, tree monster forest lords. So... I was stuck and [inset time skip here], I finally figured it out!

The author likes trees so long as they are subservient! But that just left me wondering how to make trees subservient. I mean, I went to my back yard and tried whipping some, chaining them up, talking trash, degrading them in various other unspeakable ways that foreigners pay good money for. Nothing worked.
So, now, I'm stuck with only providing a shoutout back. I mean, I sent the video evidence of the tree-discipling session to show I tried, but... ah well. Here we go:
Tree of Aeons. Because, why not? If you haven't read it yet, you might have been thinking about it. If you were thinking about it... do it. It's good stuff.

UPDATE: Weekly tree disciplining sessions have offered no further guidance on the matter. Will continue to research.
