Getting Started 2

After somewhat embarassing situation, where I forgot to ask where the shops actually were, just so you know about it if you decided to skip on that part, me and my best pal Eric were nearing the shopping district. Unfortunately for me... oh wait, what's with those coins I got from bandits?

Damn, that's useful... hey why don't it shows on my status tab?.. Right, forgot that there are no one here... oh well, anyway there's the shops here, and I have a discount voucher travelling with me, as well as someone with some common sense. But considering his... well, it's better than mine though.

Right, back to topic. My first stop was to get myself some underwear. Come on! Only perverts would go without proper underwear, and guys using power armor, but they have a proper reason for it, which is CC... well, ok, they were mostly perverts too.

“Can you stop pulling my hand please?” Eric was as always complaining about some minor stuff, like weather, clothes... wait, no, that was me, he complains mostly about me being a bit noisy and energetic.

“No can do mate. You're my best discount voucher, I might even get some free stuff with you around.” wait, did I just say that out loud?

“What?!” I guess I did. “I'm your what now?”

“Don't sweat the little things, when we're already past the point of no return.” I shrugged. “Besides it's not like you're the one spending money. By the way, what's with coin system here?”

“20 pawn is 1 bishop, 20 bishop is 1 knight, 20 knight is 1 rook, 10 rook is 1 queen and 10 queen is 1 king. Also, can you let me go? I will go and get ourselves rooms” eh... damn. I kinda wish it was the previous system I had tons of coins left over. And there's no way for me to convert them or store them in the-

Nice, not now though. By the looks of it we almost made it to the merchant district. Let's go to the nearest, more or less, decently looking shop.

“Hello, do you sell-” and I was immediately stopped by some sort of guard.

“This is not place for the likes of you.” seriously now? “Move along, you're obstructing-” he couldn't finish what he was supposed to say as next thing he had a dent on his chestplate.

“OK. Let's go to the next one then, shall we?” I said as guard was slammed into the door, which now was not on the usual place, but somewhere in the shop. Not my problem.

“We're going to the next shop, ok? This one has somewhat ridiculous entry policy.” Wait where's Eric? “Oh damn, I think I lost him.” Just as I was supposed to get going, some more guards came out of the building.

“Stop right there! You won't be going-” and simultaniously guards unsheathed swords.

“Changed your mind?” I might just messed around a bit, but now I'm definately getting pissed off, especially as some moron points his hand at me.

“You will pay for-” figures.

“First you don't want me in your shop, and now you're wanting me what?”

“To pay for the damage you caused.” there was damage from my part?

“Which damage?”

“Don't play dumb with us! You will-”

“There's a door cracked? Well, that's his fault” I pointed somewhere in the shop. “Not my problem that he couldn't take the hit.”

“You dare?!” I think I'm forgetting something... oh well, first I'll deal with those goons. Considering that this one is going after me with sword in hand, I guess it's no point in being humble?

“Sure, why not?” As guard was charging our hero, said hero enveloped his left arm in ice, making a blade out of it. “Eh, no, that'd be too boring. Claws are better.”

3rd person POV

The shop which decided to not serve Pyro, or actually one guard who decided that some ragtag adventurer has nothing to do in the fine shop of 'Esteemed Visra', which was just a general goods store, albeit for wealthy customers. Unfortunately for the owner, who was unsurprisingly called Visra, his business was going in some financial troubles.

The current guard who was charging at Pyro at the moment was in for a surprise when suddenly his arm was cut off at the elbow, and his own sword already piercing his skull. After that initial exchange other guards became more weary of the assilant, and decided to use their numbers to overwhelm him, which was 3 vs 1 now, as their comrade was already lifeless on the ground, and another one had few ribs cracked and a pierced lung.

“Guys, why did you have to be so aggressive? We could just talk you know.” Pyro started smiling wickedly under the hood. “I guess now it's not turning back for you.” with such words he vanished, only to reappear behind one of the guards, and stabbing him in the neck. The now bleeding guard was trying to clutch his wound with hand, but to his horror, he couldn't even move, as claws damaged his nerves. The other two didn't stand idly, and rushed at Pyro, and one managed to land a hit on his arm, only to be blocked by dense ice, covering his entire arm, and slowly spreading towards the sword. The other guard had it's sword strike parried and riposted, severing the head from his body.

“Wa-” last one guard standing couldn't finish his word, as his mouth was covered in ice, and arms being frozen to his sword. Slowly the ice covered his entire head and started spreading all over his body. After a minute the guard was covered entirely in ice, and then shattered with a kick.

“Serves you right for being so stuck up. Well then, it's looting time~” With such words Pyro happily took the gear of guards, broke neck of the last guard, and looted the shop of everything, and setting it on fire afterwards. Fortuantely for him, the only witness of his 'crimes' was burned along with the shop.
