Deep in the forest of Albino, yes, that's the name of this stinking forest, got problems with it?

Ahem. Deep in the forest of Albino lies a cave, filled with magic, and therefore produces magic gems. Simple, right? Well, it would be simple if not for one tiny, and quite annoying I must add, thing. This was a dungeon. Well, it's a new one, relatively new one, as it was there for a few years or so. What's so interesting about it? Well, you see-

“Goblin. Looks like rare variant.” (Adventurer 1)

“Wait, alone? Those critters are always in tight groups.” (Adventurer 2)

“I see only two possibilities, either it's a trap, or this litter bugger ran away from another party.” (Adventurer 1)

“Or he got lost.” (Adventurer 3)

I'm a goblin. Yeah, the one those adventurers talking about. No I ain't lost, I just hunt adventurers for fun and profit. Or run from them, just like I do right about now.

“Hey, it's getting away!”(Adventurer 3)

“No shit Henry, here I thought it was going to start dancing.” (Adventurer 2)

“At least this one has greater intelligence than other ones. Maybe it's really a wariant, and not just some random goblin that decided it was good to get covered in tar, coal or whatever it could find in here.” (Adventurer 1)

Reason why I'm currently running like headless chicken? Well you see, I'm quite good at killing adventurers mano-o-mano, as this is the newborn dungeon, so it's the noob playground, and what's a few goblins to a human, even if said human is a cripple with no fighting experience? Yep, a few points of exp. And if they see a variant, what's their first thought would be? It's usually 'Oooh! It will give me more experience than those shitty brats I fought two minutes ago!', or 'Oooh! This moron can't be alone, and I can kill him and his escort for more exp!'. Those are the most common cases, however there were cases like 'AAAH!!! WHAT THE FUCK IS THAT?!' and 'You can't be serious...' or my favorite one 'Ha-ha-ha-ha!!!'. Well, considering that this place had mostly human adventurers I was not that surprised.

“It's kinda fast.” (Adventurer 3)

“Henry, stop talking, prepare yourself for an ambush” (Adventurer 1)

“What's it gonna do? Throw rocks and sticks at us? It's just a goblin.” (Adventurer 3)

Well, that's quite good idea, for a goblin that is, if one would start throwing some items at random targets then he would be promoted, by dungeon of course, to thrower, or even slingshot goblin, but I only encoutered thrower goblins so far, as well as generic goblin, generic goblin with stone, branch or makeshift club, and goblin gobber, it's some sort of a squad leader of goblins, tougher and menacing, for a goblin that is. Me? Well, I'm an anomaly in this dungeon, main reason why some adventurers try to stick to the lower floors. Oh right, dungeons have stairs leading up, not down, and are located in their own dimensions, no matter how poor they are. At least that's what I think about it. I mean, I was in this world for less than a month, or at least I think it was month, not like I had clock on me or something.

“Dead end fella, you've got nowhere to run.” (Adventurer 3)

“And it seems like there are no goblins beside this one.” (Adventurer 1)

“Whatever, I just want to know what loot can we get out of him.” (Adventurer 2)

Well, this was not a 'dead end' as the one they call Henry said, not for me at least. You see, despite dungeons, or at least this particular dungeon, having their own dimensions, monsters, as well as adventurers, could dig here. Well the damage done to dungeon would be gone in a day or two, but that doesn't really matter for me.

“Is it just me, or this goblin's grinning?” (Adventurer 3)

“Gobba smartar dan tu!” and with these words I ran through the crack in the wall, leaving these morons dumbfounded.

“Is it just talked?” (Adventurer 3)

“Yeah...” (Adventurer 2)

“And ran through this crack?” (Adventurer 3)

““...””

And now to the best part. You remember I talked about the digging inside dungeon? Well, this is my favorite way to deal with adventurers. Cave-in. Unfortunately I'm not that great of a mage as before, well not that I was great before, but something as easy as burying adventurers alive? That's easy. Though I quite dislike it as I get less essence from them, but fighting them head on? Not with my current stats.

Good thing I can get rid of my goblin race. First I need to get rid of the other debuff, which forbids me from leaving this dungeon. Also I need to get items from the adventurers and store it inside my storage, you know, for trading purposes.
