Armoured Hero along with his squadron of 36+ were rushing in the direction where Water Lilly’s team was being ambushed by a horde of Mantis Ghouls. Their motors were travelling at burst speed! They stop at nothing to get to their destination.

Along the way, they rode by several kinds of lonesome Ghouls who were busy doing their own thing to interfere with them. Not all Ghouls were bloodthirsty predators who sought trouble with every little passer-by. Some were even docile at times.

While keeping an eye on the monitor, Armoured Hero became more unrelaxed. “We have to hurry! Their situation is getting sourer by the minute!”

“Armoured Hero, which team did you say was in that direction we’re heading to?” Meliodas enquired over their communication channel.

“It’s Water Lilly’s crew. They are currently being pursued by a large group of crazy looking Ghouls. I think they might be the Mantis type.”

“What?” Meliodas almost choked on his spittle when he heard this. “Those Mantis bastards are really bad news. We might also be in trouble if we come across them.”

“Huh?” Hearing the fright in his brother’s voice, Unruly Ban had to ask: “Why are they so f*cking dangerous? Is their rank really high or something?”

“Their rank is not that threatening. Individually they are weak as shit. However, when they team up into groups, they can be difficult to handle, especially with those sharp attack of theirs. We should also put our lives first when we get there.”

“Oh… the Mantis Ghouls are that crazy…?”

As she listened to the conversation surfing over the intercoms, Angelina’s mind couldn’t help but wonder on the whereabouts of her father. “Dad… could he have survived this hell all on his own? No! He has to still be alive, otherwise, this trip would have been for nought. I have to start searching for father soon before the next gate opening comes around. I can’t keep getting side-track by these people. After we rescue that team I will find a way to slip out of their ranks unnoticed. I can’t…”

“Hey…”

“Huh?”

During her thought process, Angelina got interrupted by a familiar voice. Fluffy Tanya rode closer as she spoke. “You’re so silent over here. Perhaps, are you also nervous about rescuing Water Lilly’s crew? I heard that Mantis Ghouls possesses really sharp appendages that can cut a grown person to pieces.”

“I am a little bit anxious, to be honest.” Angelina answered. “This Ghoul Graveyard is a scary place. My life has been hanging by a thin thread ever since I got here.”

“The situation is the same for us all, girl. What surprises me though is how well you’ve handled yourself thus far. You’re not even a High Tomb Rider, yet you’ve done exceptionally well in keeping alive than most of us pros.”

“Thank you for that I guess. I’m trying my best to stay alive. I don’t plan on dying anytime soon, not until I find my…” Angelina paused for a while.

“Until what?” Fluffy Tanya asked.

All of sudden, Unruly ban rode between the 2 conversing ladies, saying brazenly: “What are you 2 sluts gossiping about over here? There is no time to be braiding each other’s pussy hair! We’re almost at our destination. Take your f*cking lips out of each other’s vagina and get ready to kill some f*cking Ghouls!” Unruly Ban rode ahead of the speeding Tomb Riders.

“That damn bastard and his stinking mouth… he must have a f*cking death wish.” Fluffy Tanya got fed up by the dirty way how Unruly Ban spoke to people in general. She started secretly cooking up a plan to have him assassinated by the marauding Ghouls up ahead.

Angelina recognized her dark expression and tried to calm her head by saying: “Don’t pop a blood vessel over that cynical wretch. Eventually, he will get what’s coming his way.”

“Everyone!” As he ventured further up the frozen slope, Armoured Hero garnered everybody’s attention by saying: “Water Lilly’s crew should be just up ahead! Get ready for combat. Remember the plan! We’ll separate the Mantis Ghouls to curtail their combat strength then we will deal a decisive blow to them! Is everybody clear on that?”

“We are!”

“Then let’s put our pedal to the metal and burn every last essence of our motor!” The Tomb Riders got fired up by Armoured Hero’s motivational speech. Every motor shooting up the slope left behind huge frozen dust clouds in their trails.

“Huh?” On her way down the slope, Water Lilly along with her fleeing gang noticed the obtrusive snow trail speeding towards their location. “It’s Armoured Hero’s squad! They’ve arrived!”

The overbeat Tomb Riders felt a sense of relief when they recognized their reinforcement. However, that didn’t mean that their situation had already leant to the brighter side. If anything, Armoured Hero’s presence only roused the insatiable appetite of the Rank-C Mantis Ghouls.

“Jesus!” Angelina was taken aback by the numbers of Mantis Ghouls coming into view. “They are hundreds of those crawling things.”

“Here they come! Everyone to your battle formations!” Perceiving the swift approach of Armoured Hero’s crew, Water Lilly commanded her retreating riders to split into 2 groups. Armoured Hero then shot forwards between them to cause a great collision with the Mantis Ghouls.

The Mantis Ghouls who got blasted into mid-air were quickly taken care of by Water Lilly’s gang. They shot them to oblivion before their lanky corpses could crash into the ground.

“This is far enough! Let’s switch back around!” As he rode deeper into the tyrannical horde, Armoured Hero realized that their crashing momentum was rapidly depleting. Hence he told the gang to detour to the escape route before they were completely blocked in.

“Oh shit!” One unfortunate Tomb Rider slipped up while making his turn which caused him and his motor to be cut to ribbons!

“No! Nash!” Another Tomb Rider went insane by the death of her friend. During her fit of rage, she unleashed the might of a powerful Soul Insignia which consumed dozens of Mantis Ghouls in poisonous smoke. “Die you f**kers!”

Angelina recognized the crazy lady attempting to pull a suicide stunt and horridly went to her aid. “Hey! You can’t fight them alone. Pull back!” The girl was stubborn, thus Angelina had to use her Muscle Thron to forcefully swerve her motor out of harm’s way. Consequently, it caused looming danger to appear over Angelina’s head.

20 plus Mantis Ghouls charged Angelina directly; bearing the sharpness of their elongated appendages.

“I won’t die here!” Identifying the impaling objects of her imminent death, Angelina quickly dipped into her inventory and flung out a Crimson Soul Insignia. “Explosive Roses!”

“SKREEEEEE!” The resounding cry of Mantis Ghouls in pain echoed across the vast slope. This dubious frequency caused the surrounding Ghouls who were previously inactive to become refractory, moreover, agitated. Many variations of frantic Ghouls started giving chase to the fleeing Tomb Riders.

“This is bad! We have trouble approaching from the south! Even our flanks!” Water Lilly quickly recognize their retreat path being compromised. “If we go down any further, we’ll be ambushed beyond reckoning. There are even some Rank-B Ghouls among them!”

“Ms Lilly, where to now!”

“There is no other way but up! The Mantis Ghouls are easier to deal with in comparison to those high ranking monsters below.”

“What the…?” Armoured Hero was briefly astonished when he noticed Water Lilly’s crew riding upwards towards him instead of heading down. “What’s the situation?”

“Look behind me!” Water Lilly directed Armoured Hero’s attention to her voluptuous rear.

“Huh! Those are..?” Armoured Hero quickly understood the severity of their predicament. No longer was his previous plans effective. “Guess we’ll just have to improvise.”

Armoured Hero commanded his sapphire steed to switch directions upwards the slope where the chasing horde of Mantis Ghouls was approaching from. “Change of plans gang! Our only chance of survival is to plough through those Mantis Ghouls up ahead. The nadir is quickly being overrun by powerful Ghouls! See for yourself!”

“Huh? He’s right! We’re f*cked if we go down there!”

“But we’re f*cked if we climb higher too!”

“At least we won’t be f*cked as hard by those Mantis Ghouls!”

“Damn! There is never a sunny day in this f*cking Ghoul Graveyard! There is no other choice but to fight our way out of here.”

“They’re correct. Even the borders to our left and right are being swarmed by powerful Ghouls.” After assessing the situation for herself, Angelina surmised that her chances of surviving would be higher if she confronted the Mantis Ghouls, which is exactly what she and the others did.

Almost every frightened motor present on the slope was shooting upwards where the Mantis Ghouls waited expectantly.

“There is no turning back! Charge!”
