Armoured Hero couldn’t let this opportunity slip by. “Now that the flame Ghoul is busy this is our chance.” He used the Soul Insignias he received from the others to revitalize and strengthened his broken Weapons Cube.
“Activate Ultimate Defence, Castle Camelot!” An expansive transparent castle surrounded the exhausted Tomb Riders. This was the strongest relic Armoured Hero possessed. However, would it be strong enough to withstand the imminent barrage of assault that the mighty Cloud Ghoul had in store?
“????” Glancing below, the mighty Cloud Ghoul discovered the pesky group of humans trying to escape towards the gateway. “How audacious!” Sayeth the Cloud Ghoul in its thunderous dialect. It started pouring down multitudes of chain attacks.
“Here they come!” When the thunderous chains crashed into Castle Camelot, surprisingly they bounced right off.
“It actually withstood those deadly attacks?” The Tomb Riders couldn’t believe their eyes. Even Armoured Hero who initialized the skill was startled.
“It’s actually working? Good, this will last us until we get to the gate.” Seeing light at the end of the tunnel, the Tomb Riders accelerated further.
Try as it did, the Cloud Ghoul found it difficult to penetrate Castle Camelot. Hence, it thought of a way of delaying the Tomb Riders by moving further away with the Sapphire Heart.
“That bastard is trying to create distance between us!”
“Not good! We won’t be able to enter the gate if it closes. I’m going to try and slow it down!” Cool Zephyr took the mantle of the team. She abandoned the safety of Castle Camelot to rush ahead. Coming closer to the Sapphire Heart, she summoned the properties of her Ghoul Trigger.
“Galaxy Blades! Go sever those chains!” After Cool Zephyr tossed forwards her Ghoul Trigger, it separated into multiple parts of twirling wind blades. These Galaxy Blades did their best to sever the Cloud Ghoul’s chains.
“They’re coming loose! Now is our chance!” The Tomb Riders successfully caught up with the Sapphire Heart. Out of everyone, Ghost Rider was the first captain to enter.
“That bastard is so heartless!” screamed a discontent member.
“Everyone hurry through!” The other captains stayed behind to ensure that every member from their group made it through the gate safely. “Is that everyone?”
“Wait a minute! Where is that loudmouth bastard?” Meliodas just now realized that Unruly Ban was missing from the group.
Armoured Hero confirmed his suspicions. “Now that you mention it. I haven’t seen him nor that lady for a long while either.” He was referring to Angelina. “We can’t wait around for them though, not in this perilous situation.” Armoured Hero glanced above at the apex Cloud Ghoul. “It’s persistently attacking Castle Camelot, it’s only a matter of time before it crumbles completely. I’m going through. You should hurry and think about what you want to do.”
Armoured Hero disappeared through the gate. Now only Meliodas remained at the Sapphire Heart’s entrance. He searched around for signs of his younger brother.
“Where the hell is that fool? Did he perished in fire already…? Tsk, f*ck this! Why do I care about what happened to that bastard? I knew he would die on this expedition anyway.” As he started turning around to enter the gate, he began hearing faint shouting in the distance.
“Wait! Wait for us!” Angelina was madly rushing towards the gate with Unruly Ban tagging along at her bouncing rear.
“You f*cking f*cktard! Don’t you dare enter that f*cking gate without me!” Unruly Ban was sweating profusely. His pores constantly producing trickles of fear.
“That bastard! Hurry up! The gate is about to close!” Meliodas was secretly glad that his brother was alive and well. He stood by the gate waiting for Unruly Ban’s arrival.
“This won’t do?” Whilst operating her motor in overdrive, Angelina noticed that at her current pace, she wouldn’t be able to enter the gate before it complexly closes. “Dammit! It’s this loudmouth bastard who’s slowing me down. Should I abandon his smelly ass in the lava pit below?” Considering this idea, Angelina glanced back at Unruly Ban.
“He’s an annoying bastard that’s for sure but I won’t feel happy having to sacrifice someone for my sake. Ok, I’ve made up my mind.” Angelina thought of a solution to increase her speed by not abandoning Unruly Ban. “Chain of the Flaming Ghoul Riders! Go forth!”
Angelina skilfully manoeuvred her motor in a twirling motion to gain more momentum. The impetus which was formed she used it on her Soul Insignia to toss Unruly Ban towards the gate.

“Hey, slut what are you doing!” In no time at all, Unruly Ban made it near the gate. Half of his body was literary through it. Now it was Angelina’s time to cross over. “Hey! Who told you to toss me ahead! Hurry and get your ass over here before I skin you alive! You f*cking bitch!”
Unruly Ban could tell that Angelina wouldn’t be able to make it through the gate before it closes. Tears even began to fall from his eyes as he tried to force himself outside. He was also screaming like a tyrant. However, his domineering brother wouldn’t allow it.
“You crazy bastard! Get your ass in here!” Meliodas used force to dragged Unruly Ban through the gate.
“No! Let go of me!”
“Shut up and come along!”
“Huh?” Perceiving how miniature the gate had become after Unruly Ban vanishing through it, Angelina tried her best to make it there. “Selain don’t hold anything back!” Her motor kicked into triple overdrive!
“I can make it! I can make it!” Vrm! Angelina travelled at burst speed! If she was allowed a second more she would have made it through the gate. Alas, the Cloud Ghoul had to interfere.
Myriads of thunderous chain shot downwards in front of Angelina. Because of Castle Camelot suddenly collapsing, the chains were able to deal critical damage to her body.
“KYAAAAH!” She felt a lot of pain crashed into her shoulder. It shattered her bones, also claimed her left arm in the process. “EEEEK! IT HURST!” Unbearable pain kissed her bulky vagina until it shrunk! She could only depend on her intelligent motor to direct her to safety.
“Selain get me out of here!” Angelina had to abandon the thought of escaping to tend to her severe injuries. It was a good thing she was surrounded by hot temperature. The heat helped to cauterize her explicit wounds.
On the other side of the gate, Armoured Hero’s group made it through safely. Meliodas and Unruly Ban were the last persons to cross over before the gate completely closes. Unruly Ban seemed as if he had lost his mind. He began cursing atop his lung until his voice cracked.
“No! I have to go back for that slutty bitch! I can’t let her die knowing that she save my life! It’s too unfair! Open the f*cking gate right f*cking now! I said open it!”
“Calm down you damn idiot!” Meliodas had to knock his brother unconscious by smacking him on the head. “Geez, this damn trouble maker.”
The lingering Nox’s staff gathered around. “Meliodas what happened to him? Why was your brother behaving so hysterically? It sounded like he left someone behind.”
“Just some dumb chick. Hurry up bring his ass to the infirmary.”
“Right away, sir!” The medical personnel ran off with Unruly Ban’s body. Currently, their facility was packed with injured Tomb Riders who mostly suffered from Soul Insignia Backlash.
“What a mess this expedition turned out to be.” Meliodas sighed roughly. “Oh! That’s right.” He seemed to have remembered something important. He spotted Armoured Hero along with the rest of the captains conversing with Zenur Banshee and the Director. He hurriedly went over there.
“We’re telling the truth! There is currently a monstrous entity trying to force its way through that gate. We need to take every precautionary measure to ensure that it never opens again. Shut down this facility if you have to.”
“Are you insane?” The Director spat his discontent saliva in Armoured Hero’s face. “Do you have any idea how much it will cost us to lock down this facility just over a single Ghoul? Are you sure that your team wasn’t just incompetent enough to handle a single entity?”
“What the f*ck did you just say, old bastard?” Meliodas came at the right moment to force the Director in his rough grasp. “Listen to me you tired bones! If you don’t want your entire family to be burnt to a crisp I suggest you listen to what we’re telling you and padlock this f*cking Ghoul Graveyard.”
“How dare a ruffian such as you threaten me!? Do you have any idea how much influence I possess, young man?” The Director insisted on doing nothing to safeguard the safety of humanity.
“None of your influence will matter old man if that f*cking Ghoul gets out! Are you hearing me?” Meliodas wanted to rip the arrogant Director a new asshole. Zenur Banshee had to intervene to calm them down.
“Alright, both of you settle down. Since I am the organiser of this expedition I will have the final say. First, let me better understand the situation by viewing the contents captured by your Automatic Guiding Cubes. You do have them in your possession correct.”
“Yes, we do.” Answered the captains in unison.
“Good, good. Show us these content immediately. I’ll get someone to assist. Hey you…” Zenur Banshee called over a tech-specialist to set up the monitors so they could watch the replay of the footage collected by the Tomb Riders.
“It’s finished setting up, sir.”
“Good, now fast forward to the point of interest.”
“Sir, please let me.” Armoured Hero volunteered to operate the playback at the right timeframe. “Here it is, sir. This is the frightening Ghoul that we mentioned.”
“Huh?”
“What the…?” Both the Director and Zenur Banshee were speechless for a brief interval after laying eyes on the apex Fire Lord Ghoul. “Are you playing tricks on us? How could such an entity exist? That alignment of halos is enough to obliterate this entire planet!” The Director started quaking in his boots.
“We told you already old man. We weren’t lying.” Meliodas glared at the trembling Director.
“I had no idea such a formidable array of Ghouls exists.” Zenur Banshee observed the footage further. “A Ghoul comprised of the clouds, a mountainous fire Ghoul and that golden one. They are all in possession of more than one black halos! Do you have any idea what this means? Those creatures cannot be killed by normal means. Until humanity finds an alternative, they are currently immortals!”
“Impossible!” Hearing Zenur Banshee’s explanation. The Director collapsed to his knees. “If those Ghouls truly exist then we must prevent them from gaining access to our world no matter the cost!”
“Sound the emergency alarm! Alert every active member of staff to assist in barricading and sealing off the gate. If destroying the heart is possible then that is also an option! No matter how many Soul Insignias and recourses it takes, use whatever means to prevent that gate from ever opening again. I will go inform the other Ghoul Graveyard ministers immediately!”
The Director got to his feet then ran away as quickly as he could. He made an excuse of contacting the essential ministers because he wanted to get as far away from the Nox facility ASAP!
