The tour of the Ghoul Graveyard site was in its early stages. The myriad of tour organisers followed the instructions they were given by the upper echelon in charge of the site to direct their respective groups accordingly. Not every group followed the same path of the tour due to the majority of people. Some went to the upper floors of the site first while others venture to the lower floors.
Angelina was among the tour group that started from the upper floor. They were walking up a curve corridor which overlooked the sturdily built complexes of the site. Majority of the building structures were of light colouring that could reflect light better throughout the interior. This was intentionally done to ward off dark spirits who occasionally snuck out of the decrepit tombs. Somehow they didn’t like the rays emanating from the sun.
The interior of the site got louder as the Tomb Riders followed along the guided path while observing their surroundings. Some of the Tomb Riders started feeling chilly the further they got inside the site. One of them called out to gain the tour guide’s attention.
“Hey, tour guide! Why is this place getting so cold?”
“Huh, so I wasn’t the only one feeling chilly? I thought it was my fears getting the best of me.”
“This area is getting extremely cold. Is it because we’re high up above the clouds?”
Hearing the conversation passing around in his group, the tour guide stopped ahead, turned around then spoke. “We are currently approaching the borders of the explicit Ghoul Graveyard. For those of you who are unaware, Ghoul Graveyards tend to possess a chilling temperature of cold degrees. It will only get colder from here on, so I suggest you put on your warm gears.”
“Oh, So Ghoul Graveyards has a characteristic of being innately cold?” The Tomb Riders began equipping their cold-resistant clothing from their storage devices.
Angelina utilized the function of her Self-Changer-Switch to swiftly don her warm vestment. When everyone in the group finished preparing for the cold to come, they continued following behind the tour guide. He led them to an area close to the roof which had a massive protective glass surrounding the outer borders of the Ghoul Graveyards.
The glass was 2-metres thick; strong enough to withstand a blast from a warhead. Behind this strongly dense glass were dull appearances of compact ethereal tombs. Many of which boasting breakages of abnormal qualities. Seeping out of these feculent cracks were viscous dark liquid that seemed to be alive. Around these horrific bodies were a motile swarm off eerie existence known as Ghoul Defectors.
These Ghoul Defectors resembled grim reapers missing their death scythes. As a substitute, they had a dark halo oscillating their heads. Their rotten dark flesh was pouring out endless mucky substances with every movement they made. They flew throughout the external Ghoul Graveyard with a vengeful aura to their sinister mien. Some of them spotted a large group of living souls staring down at them from behind the thick glass and was offended. In retaliation, they rammed into the glass repetitiously until they turned into a squash of dark liquid which trickled down the glass.

“Woah! Did you guys see that?” The Tomb Riders were frightened by this sudden discovery. “Those black things smashed themselves into the glass until they were reduced to oil. Gross!”
“Those swarming creatures are Ghoul Defectors.” The tour guide enlightened his uneducated group. “They were the first existence to pour out of the Ghoul Graveyard when it first manifested and wreak havoc to its surroundings. We classified them as Ghoul Defectors because they can’t return to their home realm. If you look closely, you’ll see that they each have a black halo oscillating above their heads. I reckon none of you has ever come across a black halo ghoul monster during your profession. This is mainly due to the impossibility of thoroughly replicating the soul genes of these black types. The unique black halo prevents these creatures from true death. If they were to be killed a thousand times then they would resurrect a thousand times. Truly a troublesome batch of creatures. However, these Ghoul Defectors possess a fatal weakness. They can’t travel too far away from the tomb’s central heart, otherwise, they’ll be reduced to a gelatinous state, incapable of combat.”
“Excuse me, instructor.” A curious member of the group raised her hand. “What is that tomb’s heart you mention just now?”
“Ah, the tomb’s heart.” The tour guide directed everyone gaze to an adjacent building below surrounded by glass. Due to how for up they were, they could barely make out a beating sapphire heart. “Over there is where the Ghoul Graveyard’s heart is located. We’ll be able to get a better view later when we head to the lower floors. That heart is the most important source of the Ghoul Graveyard, it is also a gateway to the other Ghoul realm. We believe if that heart were to be destroyed then the entire structure of the Ghoul Graveyard would collapse. This is easier said than done though. Many researchers have tried to destroy the hearts of many other Ghoul Graveyard to a failure’s end. We currently lack the capability to destroy a Ghoul Graveyard. If many of them were to pop up at once then it would be an ending world event. The Ghoul Graveyard experts believe that a day like that might potentially come which is why they occasional employ a professional group of Tomb Riders to undertake onerous expeditions to find ways of eradicating the Ghoul Graveyard from within. During these expeditions, they also collect valuable resources to add to our human advancement. It is not an easy thing to do. Many Tomb Riders have lost their life on various expeditions.”
“But if it weren’t for their sacrifices, none of us would be where we are today. When I become pro I will definitely apply for an expedition.” When the crowd heard Resotnero spoke such tasteful words, they looked at him with adoring eyes.
“Wow, that blond guy is so cool.”
“Wasn’t he the leader of the crew who came in second at the mid-level promotional tournament couple months back?”
“If it’s him then he can definitely do it.”
“Tsk.” Angelina was miffed when she heard how the crowd was talking fondly of Resotnero. “That blond idiot must love being an attention whore.”
“Is that jealousy I sense?”
“Huh?” Angelina heard a gruff familiar voice at her ear, moreover, she felt a violent grope to her round buttocks. “Who…?” Glancing behind her with a cutting gaze, Angelina realized who it was fondling her bulkiness. “White Demon!”
“Surprise to see me? Fhmhmhm.” White Demon used her tongue to fondle Angelina’s earlobe before disappearing among the crowd. She was such an eccentric person.
“Yuk!” Angelina used her sleeve to clean the spittle from her earlobe while complaining. “That woman knows how to crawl underneath my skin. Where did she go?” She looked around for her. “Is she terrorizing me for what happened that time? Geez, I’m never getting wasted again.”
When she started the tour, Angelina felt tightly apprehensive but due to White Demon’s surprise intervention, she was now back to her original self. After the prescribed time had come for the tour to end, the leaders of their respective groups led the Tomb Riders back into the large aircraft to fill their tummies and rest up for the next day.
