I woke up early in the morning as usual. After I changed from my nightgown to my everyday clothes, which is usually black themed to match my hair and eyes, I made a mirror using magic and combed my hair. When I finished my morning rituals, I opened the door of my room and found Emilia standing there.
As usual, she stood there with a smile on her face.
“Good morning, Lumina-sama.”
“Good morning, Emilia.”
Since I was feeling really great today, I returned her greeting with a smile.
“G-good morning... Lumina-sama.”
From behind Emilia, I saw Eclara standing there. Although she sounded nervous, from the voice she used from her greeting, I could tell she was quite nervous.
“.... Good morning, Eclara.”
She was my servant that went on a journey with the protagonist. In the game, the protagonist’s master was held responsible for destroying the school. As such, his master’s family incurred a large debt to the school and was stripped of its title as a result.
Shin, the protagonist, became really guilty because of it and decided to go on a journey to atone for his sins as well as to search for a way to help restore the family of his master’s honor.
However, what happened in my case was a bit different. His master’s family were still nobles and the Mylekek household, Carlos’ family, was the one who that was charged to repair the school.
Now that I think about it, why did Shin go on a journey? His master’s family are still nobles. What’s more he doesn’t look guilty at all.
Even though it was still early, my brain started to shift into full gear as I tried to recall the game.
It’s useless... Trying to remember the fine details of the game is hard.
I’m aware that my memory is quite bad, but that’s only limited to names! Since I was able to preserve most of the things I learned from school(previous life), you could say my memory is quite good!
Well, 12 years had passed already so I think being able to remember about the schools’ destruction and the invasion that occurred in the game is already commendable. Since I managed to prevent the invasion yesterday, so maybe it’s okay if I stopped trying to remember the game.
“Is there something wrong, Lumina-sama?”
While I was thinking about various things, I suddenly heard Emilia’s voice.
“Hmmm? Ah, nothing... Nothing. I was just spacing out.”
“Hah...”
Emilia slightly nodded to me. From the expression she had on her face, I could tell that she wanted to ask me more question. However, because Eclara was here, she stopped.
“Should we head out practice field in the fort today or go to the library here?”
I asked Emilia a question on how we would spend the early morning.
“Why don’t we head to the cafeteria first and have breakfast. I prepared quite a feast for you today because the kitchen had lots of ingredients.”
“Really?”
“Yes.”
“Then let’s go!”
I quickly turned towards the direction where the forts cafeteria was located. I walked in a brisk pace so that I would arrive at the cafeteria faster. Because of this, my hair slightly floated up as I walked.
“Eh? Hah?”
“Let’s go, Eclara-san.”
I didn’t know what was happening behind me but judging from the conversation they had, I could guess that Eclara became confused and Emilia helped her. Well, I couldn’t blame her, it was her first time greeting me in the morning so it’s understandable why she’s confused.
In the first place, why did Eclara greet me? Does she have something to talk to me?
Although it was a bit late, the question of why she was here floated up on my mind. But because the food that Emilia prepared would become cold if we dawdled around any longer, I pushed that thought to the corners of my mind and increased my speed.
* * * * *
After I ate breakfast, Emilia prepared a cup of tea for me. My daily rituals flowed as usual even though I was staying in a fort. The only thing that changed was the location and Eclara’s presence. Besides that, nothing basically changed.
“Lumina-sama, later this morning, Gen. Mayers will conduct another meeting in how they’ll move.”
“....”
“Also, once I’m finished compiling the data regarding the aides that supported him, I’ll pass it to you along with the report that Fate’s father passed to me a few days ago.”
“...”
Ah, this tea is really nice.
“Lumina-sama are you listening?”
Emilia narrowed her eyes as she glared at me.
“Eh? Ah, yes. Gen. Mayers will have another meeting today... right?”
She spat out a sigh as she nodded her head.
“How about the afternoon? Do we have any plans?”
The author's content has been appropriated; report any instances of this story on Amazon.
Emilia took out a document from god knows where and started reading it. While she reviewed on that document, Eclara's continued to shift back and forth between me and the door.
“... No, you don’t have anything planned in “Ummm...” afternoon, Lumina-sama. Are you planning to do something?”
“Well, you could say that. I’m planning on heading to the capital.”
“The capital? Why?”
“It’s been a “... Etoooo” while since we last saw Fate right? I was thinking on visiting her cause she may be feeling a bit lonesome right now.”
“Is that so? Then I shall prepare the things we might need...”
“I’m counting on you.”
“Uuuu....”
When we had finished talking, I noticed a girl wearing a light pink dress with blonde hair being patted on the back by Eclara. Emilia and I tilted our heads at the same time and floated question marks.
“Uhhh.... I was ignored....”
The girl was seriously crying on Eclara’s shoulder. Since it’d be bad if I left her like that, I coughed loudly to catch her attention. However, she didn’t notice me and still continued crying.
Eclara who noticed me stopped patting her back and forcibly made her face my direction.
“Eh?”
The girl had a really confused expression as our eyes met.
“....”
“....”
Since she suddenly appeared out of nowhere, I waited for her introduction.
“....”
“....”
She was silent for quite a while, but it’s okay, I’m patient.
“....”
“....”
Is there something wrong? Why is she still quiet?
“...A”
“I’M SO SORRY FOR WHAT HAPPENED YESTERDAY!!!”
When I was gonna speak out to start our conversation, she, along with Eclara, suddenly bowed to me and apologized.
“I don’t remember you doing anything to me. So why are you apologizing?”
“IT’S BECAUSE SHIN DID SOMETHING TO YOU YESTERDAY!”
“Shin?”
“Yes, he’s my familiar so I’m held responsible for what he did to you.”
“.... You’re his master?”
“... Yes.”
She answered my question with a face that was gonna cry any moment. Although she looks really cute with that expression, I wasn’t moved by it.
It was because of what she said.
“Hey, Emilia...”
“... Yes?”
“Did I hear correctly? This cute girl says she’s Shin’s master. Although I can’t use magic, I’m pretty sure familiar’s can’t change their master right?”
“Yes.”
“If she says she’s Shin’s master... Does that mean that handsome girly boy back then was a girl?”
“....”
Emilia was speechless and had a really confused expression on her face. Since she was as confused as I was, I turned my gaze back to that girl.
“Umm... Does this mean you’re...”
“...Michael?”
Emilia supplemented me and the two of us tilted our heads at the same time.
“Yes...”
The girl had a really red face as she answered me.
“... Is that so? Then why were you dressed up as a boy back then?”
My confusion about her confession only lasted for a short while. It was because when I remembered how she looked like back then, she really looked and moved like a girl. So, her being a real girl could easily be accepted.
However, the question ‘Why?’ dominated my current thoughts.
“W-well... Ummm... It’s because... Uuuhh...”
She looked like she was gonna cry again.
“It’s fine if you don’t want to say it.”
Since it felt like I was bullying her, I decided to stop the topic there and sipped on my cup of tea to calm my nerves.
“About yesterday... I’m really so sorry.”
“It’s fine, it’s fine. I’ve already decided on his punishment.”
“Eh?”
Michelle quickly raised her head and made a really confused expression.
“You’re gonna punish him? Not me?”
“Why would I punish you? You’re not him. Even though you’re his master, you weren’t the one in the wrong. He was.”
“...”
Michelle thought looked as if she had a hard time understanding what I said.
When she finally digested what I meant, she then said:
“Please be lenient on him.”
“Don’t worry he’ll live.”
I gave Emilia a glance and she then nodded to me.
Last night, before I went to sleep, I ordered Emilia and the rest to tie Shin up and throw him into a place in the barracks that was full of gays. The reason why I ordered that kind of punishment was thanks to Frank.
Yesterday, he informed me about a place where most of the gays in the fort spend their time. I don’t know where or why he got that information from, but thanks to it I managed to decide on what kind of punishment he’ll receive.
I hope he loses his virginity there.
