I dispersed my sword and walked back towards the general students. Achil flew up towards Emilia who was still fighting against the serpent. It’s because the serpent’s master was still encapsulated in ice, as a result, she was unable to order her summon that the battle was over.
When I arrived, I made a bed out of mana and collapsed. Because my tense nerves had relaxed, the injuries I had incurred from experimenting with lightning forced me to faint. Before I had collapsed, I told Emilia to handle the rest. Seeing her nod, I drifted off to sleep while the Vertical Rolls stood beside me.
* * * *
Receiving Lumina-sama’s order, I left the serpent to Achil and flew in front of Principal Gabriel.
“Since my master had slept, I, Emilia Sluga Chem, shall negotiate in her stead.”
With a mystified expression, Principal Gabriel looked at me. In response, I bowed to him.
“Principal Gabriel, since we have won the duel, the persecutions towards my master are now useless.”
His face became red and turned around wordlessly. Pax-sama, Ciel-sama, and Maxwell-sama flew towards Carlos-sama and started talking to one another.
I looked at George-sensei and made a mana screen appear in front of him.
“George-sensei, are there no more announcements to be made?”
“No. The only reason why Principal Gabriel summoned all of you here was to humiliate your master.”
“Is that so?”
I tilted my head in response to him. This was actually Lumina-sama’s habit, but because we had spent a lot of time together, some of it had rubbed off on me.
“He’s the one who forcefully made all the teachers of the primary general students resign... though I think you already know about it though.”
“Yes. I’ve heard the rumors.”
George-sensei nodded his head.
“You’re still gonna stay here, George-sensei?”
“Yeah, I’ll keep in touch with you from here. I have a feeling he’ll make an announcement and he won’t include the general students into this one. I’ll stay here to relay information to you.”
“Thank you very much, George-sensei.”
Accepting my appreciation, George-sensei made a big smile and said:
“It’s nothing. Like the others, I just became her servant the day Lumina-sama decided to teach her classmates magic and since you’ve been serving her from day 1. This makes me your subordinate! So don’t worry.”
I made a wry smile in response to his remark and headed to Lumina-sama. Along the way, I felt the Elite Magic Students staring at me. Since I was Lumina-sama’s servant, I ignored their stares and walked without care.
“Ummm… Emilia, what should we do now?”
When I arrived at the place where Lumina-sama was sleeping, Liza approached me.
“Well, I honestly don’t know. Normally, Lumina-sama would give me an order on what to do next. However….”
I glanced at Lumina-sama and when Liza noticed where I was glancing, she made an understanding nod.
“For now, let’s go back to the sky and make a temporary canteen there. If the Principal makes an announcement, George-sensei will relay the information to me.”
“Yes.”
Seeing her meekly nodding to me, an urge to pat her head welled up inside me. However, because she was a noble, unlike me, it would’ve been rude for me to do it. The only reason why I was able to talk to her as an equal is because I was their senior as a servant. Doing things like patting her head is already pushing it. Though, whenever I watch Lumina-sama pat her head, feelings like jealousy would well up inside me.
I pushed those thoughts to the farthest corners of my head and told the general students to head back to the sky. The students nodded to me and one by one, they flew up to the sky. When I was about to leave, Eclara quickly approached me.
“Are you going back?”
“Yes. We’ll be in the same place as last night.”
As I answered her, I noticed that her eyes were rapidly swimming from left to right. It seemed like she wanted to tell me something, so I took my time and waited for her.
“Then… umm… since I’m also her servant… should I also come with you?”
I pondered for a while before I answered her.
“No, I don’t think you should.”
“… Why?”
“It’s because you are a Magic Student, Eclara. You still need to stay here, unlike us. Don’t worry about Lumina-sama, she’ll understand why you didn’t follow her.”
“… but…”
“It’s okay. Since you’re her servant, she wouldn’t like it if you get into trouble because of her. So it’s fine if you stay here with Michael and Shin.”
With a reluctant atmosphere, she accepted what I just told her and bowed to me. It felt really complicated when I saw her bow. However, because she, like the others, were my juniors, what she did was normal.
As a result of her bow, the glares of the Magic Students intensified. However, because I had been together with Lumina-sama, my ability to ignore them was second only to her.
I, along with Liza and Achil, who came back after Liza’s younger twin sister recalled her serpent, was about to fly away. Another person stopped us. This time, the culprit was Shin.
“Hey, is Lumina okay?”
The way he addressed Lumina-sama without the ‘-sama’ made me frown.
“Lumina-‘sama’ is fine. You don’t need to worry about her.”
“Really? Then, just to make sure, I’ll go with you and help with the healers.”
“… No.”
Having him help with the healing would greatly benefit her because he had a huge amount of mana inside of him. If I were to compare mine with his, mine would be a cup while his would be that of a great lake. On top of that, he managed to go to the classes of magic students. This meant he was able to cast high-level spells. However, my answer to him was still no. It’s because the way he addressed Lumina-sama felt too relaxed, despite only being an acquaintance.
“Why!?”
He exclaimed when he heard my response.
I pointed at Michael and said:
“You’re not her servant you’re his ‘servant’. As a servant, you need to stay with your master as much as possible. And because he can’t leave this place, you can’t come with us.”

He widened his eyes and reluctantly nodded to me. He slouched his back and headed back to his master.
Feeling that he would be the last of them, I started walking up to the sky, however…
“Wait!”
On my third step, I heard a loud shout from behind me. I turned around and was shocked to see Carlos-sama and Liza’s younger twin sisters flying to us. Because he was the heir of one of the most influential families in this kingdom, I resolved myself to be respectful to him.
I, Liza and Achil bowed to Carlos-sama when he arrived. He looked at the three of us before he spoke.
“All of you are her followers right?”
“Yes.”
He nodded to my answer and said:
“Then, can you tell me what her surname is? From our duel, I surmised that her family should be quite famous. So tell me what her last name is.”
I became hesitant to answer him so I looked back to Liza then to Achil. The two of them were also like me, who was at a loss.
“Hurry up and tell me!”
Carlos-sama became agitated as he waited for our answer. Liza breath deeply and flew in front of me. Her left hand was on top of her gifted chest and her face showed that she was resolute.
“Carlos-sama, I am Liza Sluga Chem and like her, I am a follower of the person you dueled against.”
He raised one of his eyebrows as one of the twins whispered something to him.
“So you’re the elder sister of these two huh. Since you’re their elder sister, why didn’t you become my follower?”
Liza deeply bowed to him and said:
“I was abandoned by my father when he learned that my mana capacity was low, Carlos-sama. As evidence, the uniform I wear isn’t the same as yours.”
“Since you’re able to fly, this means that you managed to increase you mana capacity as you stayed here in this academy right? If so, why didn’t you go to the principal and showed him that you’re now able to perform spells beyond the basic level.”
“You are wrong, Carlos-sama. We weren’t able to increase our mana capacity. Lumina-sama taught us magic and because of this, we became her servants. It’s not just me, even Achil, Anthony, Mary and Victoria became her servants in gratitude for what she did.”
He furrowed his eyebrows and asked:
“Tell me what she taught you?”
Since Lumina-sama didn’t tell us to keep it a secret, I urge her to show them.
“She taught us how to control our mana and strengthen it with the mana in the environment. It’s not just that, she even taught us how to apply it to our spells. Even in battle, the spells she used were only basic spells.”
“….”
“The weapons we wielded are made out of mana, these things were discovered by Victoria and spread among the general students.”
Liza concentrated mana and materialized a simple longbow as he explained it to him.
“Normally, it’s invisible to you, but through a special process, we are able to materialize them. We call this ‘Etheral Shift’, Carlos-sama.”
“….”
“She has given us a lot of things and because of that, she deserves our loyalty.”
Carlos-sama closed his eyes and said, “I see…”
When he opened his eyes, he then asked Liza:
“Then tell me, what is her surname?”
“Her surname is Chis Chiem. According to her, she’s from a low ranking noble family that lives near the border Carlos-sama.”
“What!?”
He exclaimed greatly when he heard her.
“You’re lying. Hurry up and tell me the truth.”
“I’m not lying to you. What I just told you is the truth.”
He became silent before he faced his back against us.
“Then tell her this. Because she’s from a low ranking noble family, we will meet again in the near future. However, our relationship will be different.”
“… what do you mean?”
As Liza tried to ask him for some clarification, he quickly descended without answering her. The twins waved at Liza before they followed after him. She also waved back at them.
When their silhouettes disappeared, she breathed out a very heavy sigh.
I placed my hand on her shoulder and told her:
“I’m pretty sure Lumina-sama wouldn’t want to meet him again though.”
“That’s true… but still, he said near future.”
“Yeah…”
“Is there something wrong in the near future?”
Liza then looked at Achil with sympathetic eyes and said:
“It’s cause Lumina-sama is bad with names. I’m pretty sure that she’ll forget who Carlos-sama is.”
“… so the reason why he doesn’t call Anthony by his name is because….”
“She’s having a hard time remembering what his name is…. Also…”
Because Liza was having trouble continuing, I supplemented her:
“If you don’t meet up with her for even a day, she’ll forget who you are too, Achil.”
Achil’s face became pale when he heard me. It seemed like he understood what I told him.
“Then I shall do my best to meet with her every day so that she won’t forget me!”
“That’s too bad…”
“Why!?”
“Did you forget what Lumina-sama said?”
Achil closed his eyes and tried to remember what Lumina-sama said. However, he gave up and urged me.
“She said that the Principal will announce the suspension for school.”
“Emilia’s right, didn’t we tell her this morning that we’ll go to her house. At most, I think we’ll see her after about a month.”
“Then….”
I walked towards Achil and rubbed his back.
“Don’t worry, I’ll try to make Lumina-sama remember your names to the best of my abilities.”
“Thanks…”

Hey there! It's been a while, sorry I wasn't able to post some chapters. I was a bit busy.
Also, I forgot to do this in the previous chapters... I'm a really forgetful person.
Thanks fo giving me your suggestions and for finding some holes in my story, I'll do my best to add them, though finding a place to add them will be a bit hard, I'll do my best!
Hmm... also, in the previous chapter, I changed how the interaction between the fireball and the serpent. I somewhat understand what the last person said.
