“Eclara, do you know the reason why I called you here?”
Carlos commanded the people who followed them to surround Eclara.
“You want to pay back your past grudges… right?”
“Pfft, there’s that but also something more.”
Eclara became skeptical as she glared at Carlos. Carlos made a big smile as he spread out his arms.
“Pax isn’t your master, right? Then why don’t you become my servant!?”
Eclara opened her eyes wide when she heard Carlos’ proposition.
“You’ll be satisfied if you become his servant~”
“In more ways than one, hehehe.”
The twins behind Carlos followed up his words and made Eclara blush.
“Your really red, Lumina-sama.”
“Eh!?”
Touching my cheeks with my palms, I could feel that my face is really hot right now. While I tried to cool myself down, I noticed that Liza, Mary, and Victoria were also blushing. Seeing them make the same reaction as me greatly calmed me down.
“Just focus on the screen.”
“I wonder what you thought of their words.”
“S-shut up!”
Emilia giggled as I shouted at her to hide my embarrassment. I puffed my cheeks as I ignored her and watched the mana screen.
“I’m afraid I can’t accept your offer, Carlos-sama.”
“Why?!”
“I already have a new master.”
“Is it that Anomaly’s master?”
“No, my new master is the leader of the general studies students.”
“General studies students?”
Carlos and the other students floated question marks. I, along with my companions, despaired when we discovered that our existence was forgotten by them.
“Ahh—you mean those trashes.”
Fwoosh*
A ball of fire flew near Carlos’ ear.
“I won’t let you insult my master and her servants.”
“You’re saying that your master is a trash? What’s more he’s the leader?”
“She’s a she.”
“But she’s still trash! Hahaha!”
The surrounding students started laughing around her. From the screen, I could see that her hands were trembling in frustration.
[Fire, burn the ground to ashes
Eclara invoked magic and made the ground around her burn. Carlos’ smile didn’t vanish, instead, he snapped his fingers. The twins then stepped forward and started chanting.
[[Water, cleanse the place where I stand <
Water appeared from their hands and cooled the land.
“Tsk”
“Oioi, you’re getting aggressive. Is that trash really worth serving?”
“Stop insulting her!”
“No helping it then.”
While Eclara focused on a new spell, Carlos, along with the twins, walked behind the group that followed him. Most of them started chanting a spell while some of them continued to observe.

Like what had happened in the game. Carlos contacted Eclara to become his servant. However, she became contracted to the protagonist’s summoner and refused his invitation. Because of her refusal, Carlos was outraged and ordered his followers to attack her. She resisted for quite some time but lost due to their numbers.
Carlos would then order the men to violate her. However as soon as he made that order, the protagonist, and his summoner would suddenly arrive and saved her.
However, Eclara wasn’t contracted to the protagonist’s summoner but to me. And unlike in the game, it was her that attacked Carlos first. These were minute differences to the game, but I could see that it’d end in the same manner.
“Emilia…”
“Yes.”
Emilia, who stood beside me, made a bow of mana. She notched the bow to its limit and without me noticing, three arrows of mana suddenly appeared. When she had finished locking on, she shot the three arrows towards the night sky. The three arrows made a big parabola and hit three students.
“What!?”
“Who’s there!?”
“Create a barrier to prevent further attacks from reaching us!”
“Yes.”
Carlos started to search for the culprit by turning his head after he had made that command. I made a small smile when I saw him panicking.
“We’re ready to attack at your command, Lumina-sama.”
From my side, Liza manifested a mana sword, Mary made a mana bludgeon while Victoria made a mana spear.
I was surprised when I saw their angry faces. However, because the enemies numbered more than us, we were at a disadvantage if we were to fight them in melee range.
“No, I think it's better if the three of you to just observe for now. If you can do what we’re gonna do, then I’ll gladly accept your help”
“““ Eh?”””
“Look at what’s gonna happen to the normal ‘Null Element’ mana arrow.”
I pointed at the mana screen and focused on the mana arrow Emilia had shot. As the arrow approached the barrier, it also grew fainter and then disappeared before it had touched it.
“That arrow is only the condensed form of External Mana. And although Internal Mana is used to trigger magic, what maintains its form is the external mana.”
Their faces became pale when I told that to them. I patted Liza who was closest to me to reassure them.
“Now look at Emilia.”
She made a small nod and weaved spell words when she felt that the three were gazing at her.
[Appear before me
A small fireball floated in front of the bow of Emilia. She then notched her bow to the limit and shot the arrows through the fireball. When the arrows passed through the fireball, it caught on fire and left an orange glow as it flew.
“Shit! It’s a fire user!”
“Have some of the water magicians make a barrier of water.”
In the screen, I could hear Carlos giving orders to his followers. Seeing that they made a dome of water surround them, a smile surfaced on my face.
“What Emilia just did is an application of the ‘Null Element’ magic. Since ‘Null Element’ is basically External Mana, you can use that as a kick starter to scale you basic spells into a higher tier. Kinda like this.”
I made two walls of mana float in front of me. I then made around 10 mana javelins appear between me and the wall. By the way, though I say javelin, it’s actually just a stretched out mana ball shaped into one.
“Now this is where it get’s fun.”
I drained the energy of the molecules inside the mana walls and transferred their energies to the molecules on the other wall with my magic. One wall froze while the other caught fire.
The smile I wore became savage as I made the mana javelins pass through the walls. Soon after, 10 ice javelins and 10 fire javelins flew through the sky. The ice javelin reached the water dome and as soon as it came into contact with the dome, a layer of ice started forming.
A few moments later, the fire javelins then shattered the iced dome-like barrier.
“Ice? There’s a person who can use Ice Magic?!”
The five of us then heard Carlos’ exclamation from the screen.
“Phew~”
I made a small sigh as I stopped concentrating and dispersed the walls.
“I remembered when Lumina-sama almost burnt her hair when we first discovered this.”
“Don’t make me remember.”
Emilia and I made a wry smile as we reminisced some of our past experiences.
“So can the three of you do that?”
I faced the three people who were frozen in awe.
“W-we’ll try.”

The first one to recover was Victoria. She dispersed her mana spear and made a mana bow like Emilia. She then made a shooting posture and chanted.
[Appear before me
Even though I couldn’t see it, I felt wind converging in front of Victoria. She then released the string and shot the mana arrow through the breeze. The mana arrow disappeared and the breeze turned into a strong formless gale towards the group of people.
““Kya!””
“Where exactly are these coming from?!”
The twins screamed as they covered held down their skirts while Carlos’ exclaimed.
“Rawr!”
The firedragon that Eclara made roar as it fought against the water mages that pinned it down. From the screen, Eclara was wide eyed as she witnessed the spells rain down upon her foes.
[Appear before me
[Appear before me
Liza and Mary also dispersed their mana weapons and made mana bows. And just like what Emilia and Victoria did, they shot their mana arrows through the magic they manifested. An orange glow flew through the night sky and hit the water dome that was just recasted. Because it was only one fire arrow, all it did was make a small amount of vapor.
As for the water arrow, well, because it was water, it only combined with the water dome.
“Muu~ why are they copying you instead of me? I showed them my most powerful magic.”
“Hehe, it's cause you showed them something quite advanced. Did you also want them to burn their hair like you?”
“Don’t keep repeating it!”
Emilia giggled as we chatted. As for Liza, Mary, and Victoria, the three of them wore ecstatic smiles. The three of them continued to shoot arrow after arrow through the Fireball, Waterball, and the converged wind. Sometimes they’d trade places with each other and shoot through the magic which was casted by their friend.
Our tension relaxed as we observed the three playfully shooting arrows. Moments later, a loud shockwave of air passed through us. I squinted my eyes as I watched the dust slowly settle in the mana screen.
What appeared was a boy that had black hair and black eyes. He wore a white plain uniform and a pair of black pants. The clothes he wore reflected the light around it because it was made out of polyester nylon. A material that wasn’t supposed to exist in this world.
“So he’s arrived huh.”
“Who arrived?”
Emilia tilted her head to the side as she asked me a question.
“The Protagonist.”
Emilia and the other three became more confused by my answer.
“Let’s get away quickly before anybody sees us.”
“Eh? Why?”
“It’s cause he’s here.”
“Eh?”
Liza, Mary, and Victoria who were having fun started asking me questions. I ignored them and started walking away. Emilia, on the other hand, bowed and silently followed me. Ripples formed in the air as we slowly walked away.
My mind shifted into high gear the moment my hypothesis, that this was the game world that I played before I died, was proven to be correct by his appearance. Just like in the game, though there were some differences, the end result was the same.
“Regret always comes last huh.”
I uttered those words in a very cold tone forcing Liza, Mary and Victoria to become silent and followed after me in fear.
I bit my nail as I became angry at myself. Five years had passed and because of that, remembering those scenarios that occurred in the game was really hard. Heck, remembering the names of the protagonist and his enemies were really hard. As evidence, I even forgot the names of the other two influential students in this school
I was because I didn't preserve the things I knew about the game. Unike what I did to my knowledge of science and mathematics when I first enrolled.
After this scenario, my memories of what would happen next were blank. All because I continued to think that this wasn’t the game world.

The anomaly suddenly appeared before me and confronted Carlos-sama. They appear to be talking, but what they were talking about only passed from one ear and out the other.
It was because my gaze and mind were focused on looking at the ripples that appeared in the night sky. These ripples were could only be made by using the unique magic, Lumina-sama developed. Meaning, the ones who helped me when I was fighting, was them.
“Oi! Eclara-san, are you okay!?”
I woke up from my daze when I felt a pair of hands grabbing shoulders and shaking me violently. Veins popped up on my forehead and I punched at the person who was responsible.
“Ow! Why’d you do that to your savior?”
“Savior? You almost killed me. If I didn’t make a barrier, I would’ve died from your reckless stunt!”
“I’m sorry okay. I still can’t control magic very well.”
“You really are an Anomaly. Not only were you summoned, even the amount of mana inside your body is monstrous.”
The Anomaly pouted and shrank his shoulders as he hung his head in depression.
“It’s not my fault.”
“But this is your fault.”
I pointed at the destroyed park with half-open eyes.
“Urk.”
“Oooi! Is everybody alright?”
As the anomaly was reflecting, I suddenly heard a high pitched voice from above.
“Haa~ Why did my master ever order me to observe him. What does she see in him?”
“Hmm?”
The anomaly made a goofy face as he tilted his head to the side. I became angrier and hit his head again.
“Well, it is true that you save me. So thanks, Juumonji Shin.”
“No prob.”
He showed me the white of his teeth as he made a big smile while scratching his left cheek while he replied.
“I’m sorry for causing you trouble, Eclara-sama.”
“It’s okay. Michelle.”
The person who arrived a bit later was his master. Her name was Michelle (Michael) Alinstad. A girl with blonde hair and wore was currently wearing the men’s uniform because of her family’s order. The only person who knows that she was a girl was me and this anomaly.
“It seems that they still want to fight.”
“It appears so.”
“Uuhhh.”
The three of us made different reactions as Carlos-sama’s minions slowly stood up one-by-one.
“There’s just three of them! Hurry up and beat them up!”
Carlos-sama ordered his minions to attack us. It seems he was underestimating our strength.
“Come!”
“Don’t destroy the park too much, okay?”
“Don’t worry, he’ll pay for us.”
“Waaaaah!!! I wanna run away!”
The anomaly then ran towards Carlos with a vicious smile. His hands were burning and his body was covered with an aura that was a bright shade of white. He was using magic to increase his physical abilities giving him superhuman strength. What’s more, because he had a nearly inexhaustible mana, he was a monster was could fight against an entire legion of soldiers with a smile on his face.
“Clench your teeth you bastards!”
With that, I along with the anomaly and his master fought against one of the most influential people in this school and won. We never knew that the fall of Carlos-sama would be the trigger to plunge this school in chaos.
