To optimize the transportation system in Daitoshi City, the city government built the Inazuma Integrated Terminals.
It consolidated the airport, the bus station, and the train station in one area, connecting them all with interchange roads.
So, for example, if somebody arrived at Daitoshi International Airport from abroad, he only had to walk toward the train station or the bus station to proceed to all parts of Daitoshi. That way, it would save energy, money, time, and effort, reducing traffic jams and sorts.
However, big boulders blocked the roads and even the train station entrance. The blockades forced Shingo and his team to take a longer route through Inazuma Bus Station to reach the interchange point between the three modes of transportation.
As expected, mutants and monsters were stationed all the way to exhaust the heroes, so they would be like sitting ducks upon reaching the airport.
The good news was, as the eight incredible people were together, they were unstoppable. Throngs of ferocious monsters were reduced to pushovers in their wake.
The bad news was, as Shingo’s team arrived at the interchange point, they faced a blockade of massive, gigantic boulders.
The ones who erected the blockades, a team led by a high school student like the other one they had previously encountered, and his squad of mutants.
“Ah, welcome to the party, I’m Hitoshi Ushio, your host. But you must call me Raijin,” the boy high schooler greeted. “In case you’re wondering, Fuujin has told me what happened. So, instead of an ambush, I’ve prepared this extra blockade.”
Raijin was confident and unafraid, a trait that may have come from his knowledge of the area. He and his troops had telekinetic abilities that allowed them to move massive boulders with ease. They even used the boulders to their advantage, sending them hurling down at Shingo’s team.
The group quickly sprang into action, using their inner strength and magical powers to dodge, deflect, or break the rocks.
Unfortunately, not everyone was as lucky as them. Some of the Skull Mask Squad and GI agents were crushed to death by the boulders.
As the dust settled, the fighters regrouped and split into smaller teams to engage the enemy.
Shingo’s team faced Raijin who looked like a geeky student boy.
“You’re just a roadblock in our way,” Keiji said to Raijin. “That cowardly trick
“How dare you disregard me?” Raijin retorted. “My ultimate lightning power and my esper, Sempati the Garuda, will open your eyes! All mutants, attack!”
The group readied themselves for battle. “Come, I want to fight side-by-side with you, Shin!” Shiori exclaimed.
“By all means! Let’s do this!” Shingo replied, brimming with confidence and determination.
The group rushed toward Raijin-Sempati and his mutants. The Garuda and its squad of loyal followers, their powers amplified by telekinesis, posed a formidable threat to the heroes.
Boulders were hurled through the air with a terrifying force, propelled by the Garuda’s telekinetic might. The ground trembled beneath their weight, threatening to disrupt the balance of the battlefield. But Shingo, ever agile and swift, anticipated their trajectory and leaped effortlessly out of harm’s way.
Hayato, his double claws glistening in the dim light, danced with fluid grace. With each precise strike, he sought to dismantle the enemy’s defenses. His claws sliced through the air, leaving trails of crimson in their wake.

Chiyo, her paintbrush an extension of her will, summoned bolts of lightning with masterful strokes. The crackling energy danced, manifesting as devastating lightning attacks. Bolts of raw power illuminated the battlefield, momentarily blinding the enemy.
But it was Shingo, his katana an extension of his very being, who displayed relentless determination. With unwavering focus, he unleashed a flurry of strikes, his blade a blur of motion. Each slash was precise and calculated, aimed at exploiting the weak points in Sempati’s defense.
The Lightning Garuda fought valiantly, retaliating with bursts of electrical energy. Lightning crackled and danced across the battlefield, illuminating the darkened sky.
Yet, Shingo’s relentless assault proved too much for the formidable adversary. Sempati’s defenses crumbled under the weight of Shingo’s relentless onslaught.
And then, in a brilliant flash of light, Sempati transformed back into its original form, Raijin. The battlefield fell silent, save for the heavy breaths of the combatants.
Mariko stepped forward, her healing magic flowing through her fingertips. Raijin lay on the ground, panting heavily and looking dejected. She knelt beside Raijin, extending a hand of compassion and healing. “Rest now,” she whispered, her voice a soothing balm. “The battle is over.”
“Looks like I’ve underestimated you,” Raijin said, with a hint of defeat in his voice. “Master Hannya didn’t tell us how you are. Maybe he doesn’t know about that too.”
Shingo was quick to counter. “Or maybe Hannya just wants to set you and Fuujin up as sacrifices to speed up his diabolic plan, whatever it is.”
Shiori nodded in agreement. “The way he abducted people with supernatural powers or caretaker spirits, I think he wants to use you two that way too.”
Raijin was quick to defend his master. “No way! Master Hannya is righteous. He has taught us how to fully optimize and control our espers. No way he’ll sacrifice us just like that!”
Nishi chimed in. “That’s what the chicken says about the farmer before ending up as fried chicken karaage.”
Raijin was visibly agitated by the remark. “That’s it! I won’t let you insult my master any further!” He let out a groan and collapsed onto the ground, defeated.
Hayato stepped forward. “Look, the situation is obvious now, you can’t deny it. But since you’re not yet corrupted by the maniacal Hannya, we can spare you.”
Keiji added, “Just go away with your girlfriend, Fuujin, and don’t get involved with Hannya again.”
Raijin gritted his teeth in anger. “Tch! Just wait! This is not over yet! The next time we fight, it’ll be your doom! Let’s go, my friends! Later!” He disappeared with his remaining troops, leaving the team to catch their breath and recover from the fight.
Shingo spoke up, “Some people just won’t learn. I hope the lovers will be enlightened later.”
Shiori agreed. “I hope so too. Say, Mr. Hayato and Senior Agent Keiji, that was quite a statement.”
Hayato shrugged. “Just picking up your example, Amiga twins,” he said.
Keiji added, “We just tried to see the goodness in people, no matter how bad they are.”
Chiyo broke the silence. “Well, since we don’t get to fight Hannya yet, looks like we’re going to the airport after all. So, let’s not waste time and get moving!”
The group made their way towards the airport, with the memory of their fight with Raijin and Sempati still fresh in their minds.
