The Songs of Chaos and Harmony - Part 3

It turned out Reika was a sorceress, and her powers were not to be underestimated. Seeing her deadly light energy magic spells, Shiori was not looking forward to the fight ahead.

Keiji raised his semi-automatic gun, ready to fire, while Nishi readied her semi-automatic gun. The trio leaped downstage, dodging Reika’s Raybolt spells that shot from her fingertips.

As the spell died down Shiori leaped back onto the stage, her katana glinting in the bright lights. She clashed swords with one of the dancers, their blades ringing out in the casino hall.

Meanwhile, Keiji fired at Reika, his bullets grazing her skin but not causing any serious damage thanks to the diva’s very flexible and agile physique.

Nishi dodged a blast of light energy from Reika’s Rayblast spell, quickly launching into a series of karate moves to take down one of the other dancers.

Shiori parried a strike from her opponent’s sword and sliced the blade in half with a swift, expert stroke. The dancer was shocked, and Shiori’s kick knocked her out.

Suddenly, Reika unleashed her ultimate spell, Sunray Shower, causing a shower of intense light energy to rain down on the entire casino stage hall. Shiori felt blinded by the brightness, but she kept fighting on instinct alone, slashing at the remaining dancers.

Keiji continued to fire at Reika, but she remained vigilant and agile, with a determined look on her face. Nishi charged toward her, her bare hands a blur as she landed punch after punch on Reika’s body.

Shiori regained her vision just in time to see Nishi deliver a final, powerful blow that knocked Reika out cold. The trio stood panting and exhausted, their weapons at the ready in case of any further attacks.

But none came. The battle was won, and they emerged victorious. Shiori sheathed her katana, feeling a sense of pride in their teamwork and fighting skills.

“We did it,” Keiji said, his voice hoarse from the battle.

“Guess I’m at your mercy now,” Reika said, panting. “But I didn’t plant the bomb, and I don’t know who did it! Just search my mind, and you’ll know I told you the truth.”

Shiori nodded, understanding.

Reika added, “If it means something, I did have the pass key card to the Presidential Suite where I’m staying, but I’ve lost it. Maybe Godfather Akiba Maeda’s goons stole it and hid it somewhere in the first-class rooms of this hotel.”

Keiji, another agent, asked about Hayato. “Is Hayato here to watch your concert now?”

Reika shook her head. “No, his hands are full with a mission from the Godfather. But he has texted me, telling me he was sorry and wished me the best of luck in the concert.”

Shiori pondered their next move. “That leaves us with a new question. Who planted the bomb, and where is it?”

Suddenly, the Hannya-masked man appeared behind Reika, who was still injured and exhausted from the battle.

The masked man spoke with a chilling calmness. “I’m taking the diva. The bomb is under the piano in the Presidential Suite on the top floor. You can choose to chase me or dismantle the bomb and save many lives. It’s your call, the show is over for now. Bye!”

Nishi was furious. “Why, you…!” She moved to attack the masked man, but he was already gone in a puff of smoke with his goddess idol hostage. Startled, she turned to Shiori and called out in a worried tone, “Shiori!”

Shiori wasn’t fazed. “Don’t worry. I’m not freezing like last time. He’s just still too powerful for us to handle, that’s all.”

Keiji breathed a sigh of relief. “Thank goodness you two are okay. Now let’s search for the bomb before it’s too late!”

The tale has been stolen; if detected on Amazon, report the violation.

Shiori and her team raced toward the Hikari International Hotel’s Presidential Suite, their hearts pounding with adrenaline.

They had received a tip from Hannya that a bomb had been planted in the suite. The thought of the destruction it could cause filled them with dread.

As they entered the elevator and hit the button for the top floor, Shiori’s mind raced. She had to remain calm and focused, or else innocent lives could be lost. The elevator doors opened with a ding, and they stepped into the opulent luxurious house-like

Keiji led the way, his eyes scanning the surroundings as he spoke. “Here we are, the Presidential Suite. Let’s search for the bomb!” Shiori’s heart raced as they moved toward the grand piano room, hoping to find the bomb before it was too late.

“If Hannya was not lying, it’s under the piano,” Shiori said, her voice shaking with anticipation.

The group moved towards the piano, and as they touched it, they heard clicking sounds. They found a brick-sized bomb taped under it, their worst fears confirmed.

Nishi examined the bomb closely. “That’s a lot of C4. It’ll blow the whole block up.”

Keiji tried to disarm it, but his expression quickly turned to one of frustration. “This setting is unlike anything I’ve handled before! I can’t disarm it!”

Shiori’s stomach churned with fear. “What should we do? We can’t just fly and toss the bomb so high it’ll explode in mid-air, right?” She felt a sense of despair creeping in.

“I should’ve brought a bomb squad along too. I was too confident, that’s my biggest blunder!” Keiji’s voice was filled with regret.

Nishi suggested they take the bomb off and toss it somewhere else to minimize the damage it could cause. Shiori agreed, but she felt sick at the thought of having to sacrifice herself to save others.

Just as they were about to take action, a shadowy figure darted past them and moved toward the piano. It was a ninja, and he said, “Let me handle this my way.”

The group was stunned as the ninja picked up the bomb, ran into the next room, and tossed it into the bathtub filled with water. The bomb didn’t go off, miraculously.

“Try to be more careful next time. I’m watching over you, Shiori Amiga,” the ninja said before disappearing just as quickly as he had appeared.

Recognizing the ninja at last, Shiori couldn’t believe her eyes. “No way! The Shadow Dragon finally showed up and saved our and people’s lives!”

Nishi asked who he was, and Shiori recalled her late foster father’s stories about Ninja Ryonoken, nicknamed Ryukage, the Shadow Dragon. He was a living legend, a real superhero who had performed many heroic feats.

Keiji speculated that the ninja was Shiori’s guardian angel, and Nishi added that they had him as their helper in dead-end situations.

The group decided to leave the suite, and as they exited, they were met by a bomb squad who took care of the bomb.

Shiori breathed a sigh of relief as they left the hotel, grateful for their good fortune and the unexpected aid from the Shadow Dragon Ninja.
