Shingo called upon their deceased foster father and teacher, “Miura Sensei, please watch over our fight from Heaven.”
Shiori declared, “Let us avenge the lives he has taken and rescue the people he has abducted.”
Ryonoken warned Hannya, “You’re rotten to the core! I intended to let you go to the afterlife in peace, but you spat it to my face!”
Mariko added, “That’s why there’ll be no mercy for you! Prepare to go back to the hell hole you were from, Hannya!”
“Let me see you try,” said Hannya with finger gestures of a challenge. Magically, two other Hannya shadow clones emerged from behind the original. “Let’s see who will prevail, the one who defies destiny or the ones who walk along with it. Let the showdown begin!”
Shingo and Shiori, the twin warriors, clashed face-to-face with their most formidable opponent yet - the enigmatic Hannya. While Ryonoken and Mariko chose to deal with the two Hannya shadow clones.
The air crackled with anticipation as the clash of steel reverberated through the zone, their blades meeting in a dance of deadly precision.
Hannya, wielding the legendary fire and ice katanas by Masamune and Muramasa, moved with a grace that belied his immense power. Each swing of his blades sent arcs of fire and ice through the air, creating an otherworldly spectacle of elemental fury.
Shingo, armed with the Odenta katana borrowed indirectly from Akiba Maeda, and Shiori, wielding the Mikazuki-Munechika katana from Fuwa Mizutani, matched Hannya blow for blow, their blades a blur of motion as they sought to overpower their opponent.
The limbo zone was engulfed in a symphony of clashing steel and the crackling of elemental forces. Sparks flew as the twin katanas met the fiery and icy onslaught of Hannya’s blades.
Shingo and Shiori moved in perfect synchrony, their connection as twins granting them an unparalleled understanding and coordination. They seamlessly anticipated each other’s movements, their unpredictable moves and battle strategy a testament to their shared bond.
As the intense duel raged on, it became apparent that Hannya possessed a level of skill and power that surpassed that of the twins individually. His strikes were precise, his movements fluid, and his control over fire and ice unparalleled.
Shingo and Shiori yelled in pain over the new wounds Hannya inflicted, but they refused to yield. They drew strength from their shared history, from the unbreakable bond that bound them together as siblings and warriors.
With a burst of unwavering resolve, Shingo and Shiori unleashed their ultimate combination of ogi, the Cycle of the Sun and Moon. As if guided by a celestial force, their blades danced in a circular manner and a harmonious rhythm, blending the brilliance of the sun with the mystique of the moon. The air crackled with energy as their combined strength surged forward, overwhelming Hannya’s defenses.
However, Hannya still had his ogi. Speculatively, he swung the two katanas of legend with one ogi, A Thousand Cold Nights. Soon, it became apparent that the fire and ice elements contained in the two katanas were conflicting with each other. As a result, part of the output energy backfired.
In a climactic moment, their blades met with a resounding clash, disarming Hannya and sending his katanas spiraling through the air. The genjutsu limbo zone fell silent, the weight of battle pressure hanging in the air. Shingo and Shiori stood together, breathing heavily, their bodies adorned with wounds sustained in the fierce battle.
But it was Hannya who bore the most severe injuries. His face marked pain and defeat. Blood seeped from his wounds, staining the ground beneath him. The silence was broken only by the sound of his labored breaths.

Shingo and Shiori exchanged a solemn glance, a mixture of exhaustion and triumph in their eyes. They had triumphed over their formidable foe, claiming Masamune’s and Muramasa’s katanas as their spoils. But victory came at a cost, their bodies battered and bruised from the relentless battle.
As they tended to their wounds, a sense of satisfaction washed over them. They had proven their mettle, their indomitable spirit shining through in the face of adversity. The chamber now held the lingering echoes of their formidable clash, a testament to the strength and resilience of the human spirit.
But their journey was far from over. The road ahead was fraught with uncertainty, and the shadows of their enemies still loomed. Yet, with their newfound weapons and unwavering determination, Shingo and Shiori stood ready to face whatever challenges lay ahead, their bond as twins and warriors unbreakable. The shadow clones also disappeared abruptly.
Hannya’s voice trembled with disbelief. “I honed my skills longer than anyone here into perfection. But I still couldn’t overcome the four of you. Why must this happen? Why?”
Ryonoken replied calmly, “That’s because we’re united and you’re alone. We can’t overcome your power individually. Only together we prevailed.”
Shingo added, “Now your soul is waning fast. You barely have inner strength left to sustain you in this world, because you don’t belong here.”
Shiori’s gaze narrowed. “On top of that, you have planted too much evil. So, when the consequences come like a debt collector, you can’t pay the amount due.”
Mariko chimed in, “The result is, hell has come to confiscate your soul, Hannya. And you can’t stop it with the little power you have left, that’s what’s happening now.”
Ryonoken’s voice was stern, “You even forced your allies, your disciples to fight separately. When defeated, you didn’t pardon and restore them and used them as ‘batteries’ instead. Therefore, you are left alone and your doom is sealed.”
Hannya snarled, “Tch, it’s no use regretting it now. Instead, my greatest regret is I didn’t get to taste the infinite power I yearned for. So, farewell. I’ll wait for you in hell and you’ll regret sending me back there.”
Shingo’s expression was unwavering. “I doubt we will, as it’s Shin Kamui’s will. By the way, where and how are your hostages?”
Hannya answered with a sneer, “They’re alive and hibernating on the top floors of Infinity Tower. To rescue them, you need to go all the way up there. Well, this is not enough to redeem my soul. But I thank you for making me smile at the end of my existence.”
The vines of hell suddenly appeared and bound Hannya’s soul, dragging it back to where it belonged. As it disappeared, the air was filled with a sense of finality.
Nishi, Yasuaki’s daughter, was relieved to find her father alive but unconscious, sprawling on the lab floor. The group was freed from Hannya’s mind trap.
Shingo said, “I know this sounds cruel, but we better leave Yasuaki-san here in the safety of this building.”
Mariko pat Nishi’s shoulder, saying, “Don’t worry, Nishi. We’ll come to treat and rescue your father after this mission is done.”
Nishi only nodded. But her face was getting tense. Maybe she was getting a hunch that something terrible would happen.
Shingo breathed in relief. “Thank goodness everybody is free from the spell and we are all here as a complete team.”
Chiyo asked, “How do you feel now Hannya is gone and you have avenged your foster father?”
“We’re relieved and worried at the same time,” replied Shiori. “All grudges with Hannya are settled. But we can’t breathe easy before we rescue all hostages in the Infinity Tower.”
Shingo concluded, “Right on! Next stop, JinCorp Factory.”
