The Place Where the Atrocities Were

The Place Where the Atrocities Were

The heroes stood outside the towering walls of the JinCorp Mega Complex, ready to infiltrate and take down their enemies.

Shingo looked around at his team, filled with a sense of purpose and determination. “Thanks to an insider’s help, we can infiltrate from the outer walls into this warehouses area,” he said.

Shiori nodded in agreement. “This is the point where we’ll commence our infiltration mission. The Skull Mask Squad and the GI agents will spread to occupy the entire outer ring area,” she said, outlining their plan.

Gale grinned. “Oh, so we can surround and lay siege to the inner JMC areas. That’s brilliant!” he exclaimed.

Raijin looked skeptical. “But, how come you didn’t inform me about that beforehand?” he asked. It was he who contacted the insider under Ryonoken’s supervision.

Ryonoken explained, “It was a last-minute improvisation. I know about that too just now.”

Keiji chimed in, “It was rather simple. We just use the GI spies and informants inside the JMC we’ve bribed for some time. One phone call from me and it’s done.”

Nishi nodded in approval. “Great! It saved us half the effort and prevented premature bloodshed. So, what shall our team do next?” he asked.

Chiyo looked through her binoculars and pointed out the three gates on the wall that divided the three areas. “I think it’s the only way in and out to the inner sections,” she said.

Mariko added, “Well, we have no choice but to go all the way to the triple gates outside JinCorp’s Infinity Tower, taking it one step at a time.”

Shingo felt a surge of determination. “Just wait, Jinbei, Maeda, and Hannya. The reckoning comes to you all,” he thought to himself. With their plan in place, they were ready to move forward and bring their enemies to justice.

The air crackled with energy as Shingo’s team stormed into the warehouses’ area of the sprawling JinCorp Mega Complex. Their presence was met with a torrent of resistance, a formidable army of guardbots, rogues, and towering mechas that seemed determined to protect the secrets hidden within those walls.

Shingo, his katana gleaming in the dim light, moved with an effortless grace, slicing through the mechanical foes that dared to stand in his way. His every strike was precise, a testament to years of training and unwavering determination.

Beside him, Gale’s kung-fu prowess was on full display, his fists and feet a blur of motion, delivering devastating blows that sent his opponents sprawling.

Shiori’s Mikazuki-Munechika, the katana she borrowed from Fuwa Mizutani, danced through the chaos, her movements a mesmerizing blend of elegance and deadly precision. With each stroke, she carved a path through the mechanical horde, leaving a trail of fallen enemies in her wake.

Nishi, her sniper rifle in hand, combined her sharpshooting skills with her karate expertise, taking down enemies from a distance and engaging in close-quarter combat when necessary.

Ryonoken, the nimble ninja, weaved through the battlefield, his twin kodachis a blur of silver. He struck with lightning speed, exploiting the vulnerabilities of his foes with deadly accuracy.

Keiji, armed with his naginata, used its reach to his advantage, striking from a distance and maintaining a defensive stance against the onslaught.

Amidst the chaos, Chiyo stood her ground, unleashing her Lightning Bolt magic upon their mechanical adversaries. Bolts of electricity crackled and danced across the warehouse, chaining from one target to another with devastating effect. The very air seemed to hum with power as she unleashed her magicks.

Mariko, the priestess, and healer of the group, wove her light magic with delicate precision. Her soothing incantations and radiant energy enveloped her allies, restoring their vitality and providing a much-needed respite amidst the relentless onslaught.

As the battle raged on, the warehouse area turned into a scene of chaos and destruction. Crates were crushed, sparks flew, and the stench of burning metal filled the air. But through it all, Shingo’s team fought on, their resolve unyielding.

Amidst the clash of steel and the crackling of lightning, snippets of conversation and battle cries could be heard. “Stay focused!” Shingo shouted, his voice cutting through the chaos. “We’re almost there! Push forward!”

Gale’s voice rose above the din, his words filled with determination. “Keep fighting! Don’t let them overwhelm us!”

The team’s synergy was evident as they fought as one unit, covering each other’s backs, their movements coordinated and precise. Their determination and camaraderie created a powerful force, propelling them forward through the sea of enemies.

And as the battle reached its climax, the combined might of Shingo’s team proved too much for the mechanical onslaught. The guardbots fell, the rogues scattered, and even the mighty mechas crumbled under their relentless assault.

Finally, the way ahead was clear. Shingo’s team stood amidst the wreckage, battered but triumphant. The warehouses around them lay in ruins, a testament to the intensity of their battle. They shared a moment of respite, breathing heavily, their gazes locking in silent acknowledgment.

“We’ve come this far,” Shingo said, his voice laced with both weariness and determination. “We won’t stop until we reach the heart of this complex.”

His team nodded in agreement, their eyes reflecting the fire of unwavering resolve. With renewed determination, they pressed on, their footsteps echoing through the decimated warehouses as they continued their relentless pursuit of truth and justice in a world of constant turmoils.

Shingo and his group had come a long way. They had fought their way through the outer rim and finally arrived at the Triple Gates, which marked the border of the inner rim of the JinCorp Mega Complex.

As they approached the gates, Chiyo pointed out that one of them was open while the other two remained closed.

“It’s obvious. JinCorp knows we’re coming and they want us to go here and there, not straight to the point,” Shiori stated.

Nishi added, “It’s the classic ruse of ‘tenderizing the Wagyu Beef before cooking it.’ They want to weaken us and reduce our number to ensure a win.”

Shingo simply shrugged and replied, “What can I say? This is JinCorp’s territory. So, they already have an advantage over us. But, with us being here, it’s proof enough that we’re powerful enough to overcome those obstacles and disadvantages. So please, let’s just move on and improvise along the way. It’s the best thing we do, right?”

As they were discussing their next move, the giant LED monitor called a jumbotron above the wall turned on, displaying Noboru Jinbei’s face. Shingo and the others were caught off guard by this sudden appearance.

“Welcome to the Three Gates, the central point of JinCorp Mega Complex. I am Noboru Jinbei, your host, guide, and executioner,” Jinbei’s voice boomed through the loudspeakers.

Keiji remarked, “For a CEO of a great enterprise like JinCorp, your choice of words is surprisingly quite standard.”

Gale added, “If you threaten us to just go back and stay down, I’m telling you it isn’t working.”

Jinbei replied, “On the contrary, do come in and join us on the site tour! We have three areas here, the Research Center, the Main Factory, and JinCorp Infinity Tower. As you can see, the first gate opened is the Research Center. You just have to unlock a button to proceed to the next area, the Main Factory.”

Nishi was quick to point out, “You say it as though it’s just a tour or a walk in the park, but it’s not.”

Jinbei responded, “It’s never easy, even for us. So, please excuse me, because as you can see, I’m a busy man. But do enjoy the tour!”

Shingo wasn’t going to let Jinbei have the last word. “Wait a minute, Jinbei-san! Before you go, I have to say something to you,” he said.

“What is it? It’s better be good!” Jinbei challenged him.

“You know we’re here to stop you, and you try your best to stop us. But, remember this. The divine and the universal forces can only be harnessed by the forces of the same kind,” Shingo proclaimed.

Jinbei scoffed, “Really? Come up here and prove it.”

Shingo replied calmly, “I don’t have to. It’s drawn in the stars by the Source when he created this universe, Omnia, and this world, Everna. It’s your right not to believe it, but if it happens, don’t blame me for not warning you.”

Jinbei retorted, “Humph, just wait and see whether I or the Source is wrong or right. Anyway, let the company tour commence!”

Shingo just shrugged as he joined the rest of the team to enter the gate to the first area, JinCorp Research Center.
