"Now we need decisions more than ever. The people are suffering. They have lost their homes and are now moving into the capital expecting a new beginning. When they arrive, they will just witness a city burnt with grey skin inhabiting it," A noble explained.
"The people trust Rufus. Their hatred toward the royal outweighed all. The people heard that you had fought against mercenaries from another kingdom also that were being funded by a royal. Many people trust you even more now," another noble spoke out.
"It is good, but people do not, unfortunately, live on trust," Hunyadi said.
"So, what do you suggest we do?" Rufus asked from the count.
"We need gold now more than anything. To rebuild our country."
None of the counts had any ideas on how to make money. The people couldn't be taxed anymore since they didn't have anything to give. Many of the fields were burnt so grain couldn't be sold to foreign lands. Factories were burnt to the ground and the industry of the kingdom was in shambles.
"If we don't figure out something we will stay weak, and our neighbors will strike at us and rip our nation apart."
Tashi stood up.
"We will survive. It will be tough, but I believe we need to now do something that we haven't done yet. Let us do the agreement that we agreed on when the war started. This kingdom still uses its old name. It is time to change that. This kingdom now has two races. Let us do what we can and sign an agreement we all agreed," Tashi explained.
"You think this is a good time for that?" Rufus asked hesitantly.
"It must be done anyways sooner or later. Why not now? This has been our dream for a long time. I have prepared a stone tablet for this occasion myself."
A couple of grey skins brought in a large stone tablet. It was shaved and smooth on both sides. Writing important matters on stone was a grey skin tradition so they would be literally set in stone.
"I say we now form our country and forge it from the flames of war. Make people proud to be part of this."
"I agree with this. It is time a new nation is born from the ashes of war. I myself agreed to sign this. I also am willing to fight for a country with two races. We have fought together so I see no reason why couldn't we live together," Hunyadi said and urged the other nobles to stand up with him.

The other nobles rose from their chairs. The agreement was written and it was named as the stone law of the new nation.
"So what will be the name of this new nation?" Amala asked.
All the nobles and grey skins went quiet. None of them had any idea what would be the new name. Hardly an important matter, but still a decision that would unify its people. Symbols are powerful in that way.
"The kingdom of Jacob was named after the royal Jacob dynasty. They are gone now. We all came together thanks to Rufus. I say his name should be in the kingdom," Hunyadi suggested.
"Sooooo kingdom of Rufus...." Amala asked.
"Yeah that sounds stupid….." they all thought.
"Do you have a last name?" Tashi asked.
"Fairfax."
All the grey skins and nobles gathered looked back. Haley had entered the room.
"His and my last name is Fairfax."
All the tribal leaders and nobles seemed happy with the name. Hunyadi especially. Hunyadi then stepped forward and knelt in front of Rufus.
"I know you already are the Raja to the grey skin. I know you never wanted to be a king. I know you never wanted to end up in any of this kind of position. I ask despite knowing this, please be our king, as you are the Raja to the grey skins?" Hunyadi said as he knelt.
"Please be our king," the rest of the nobles asked and knelt as well.
Rufus looked flabbergasted. His inner pushover came to light and pushed out the answer.
"Fine, fine, fine. Just stop kneeling. It really makes me uncomfortable," Rufus said and started to lift them up.
The grey skins and nobles laughed. It was funny to them how such a timid young man was now the king.
"You think he really meant yes or said yes because he is the biggest pushover in the universe?" Edward asked and whispered to Haley.
"Maybe. All I know is he was meant for this. Harley knew it first, then I knew it and now the rest of the kingdom knows it."
On the tablet was declared the declaration of the kingdom of Fairfax. Under it was written the law
"The kingdom of Fairfax is a kingdom of two races, grey skin and human. Both races are equal in the eyes of law. Both races are to be respected and honored. Both races will fight for the kingdom and nation."
All the nobles and tribal leaders signed it. Also, Edward, Haley, Amala, and Pema signed it as they were part of his royal retinue. The last to sign it was the new king. King Rufus Fairfax, the king of the Fairfax kingdom.
A toast was raised between all the participants. They knew the times were going to be rough, but they now had reached their dream. A new kingdom was born.
One of the nobles was looking at a necklace of one of the grey skin tribal leaders. It had a small purple stone on it. The noble came closer to look at the jewelry.
"Excuse me, but can you ask him where this jewelry is from?" the noble asked.
"It was made during our golden age. It was made in the city of Lehasa by our craftsman," Amala explained.
"And how about this stone?"
"It was dug from the mines of Lehasa that are not anymore in use?"
"Are the mines still full of this stone?"
"Yes, but they are worthless to us. They are pretty, but they do not feed us."
The noble smiled. He yelled in excitement like he had won a jackpot.
"What is it?" Rufus asked the noble.
"My good king. I believe we have found a source of extreme wealth. This stone here. It is a gravity stone. The most priced gem in all of the universe."
