Markus opened his eyes. He couldn't breathe. He felt like he was underwater and by the looks of it, he was very deep like at the center of an ocean where the sun didn't shine.
Markus started to fidget, from the lack of breath. He started to swim upwards, but couldn't reach the surface. He was just about to drown.
"Do not worry. You can breathe here," said an unknown low voice.
Markus was extremely confused. He didn't know where the voice came from. He decided to take a leap of faith and inhaled water. He was able to breathe and felt relieved.
He then looked around. He had no idea where the voice came from or what was going on.
"What are you? What did you do?" Markus yelled.
"I thought you wanted help," the voice said.
Markus felt like he was being made fun of.
"Show yourself!" Markus yelled.
Small light started to glow. Markus got scared and frightened when he saw what was in front of him. A large shark with black-colored skin and completely dead eyes. It had thin but sharp teeth and it had its mouth open.
Markus then calmed himself.
"What do you want?" Markus asked.
"I thought you wanted something?" the shark said without moving its mouth.
The shark started to circle Markus like it was its prey. Markus wasn't afraid though.
"What are you? What is this place?" Markus asked.
"What do you think this place is? Can you not sense the divine power?" the shark answered.
Markus looked baffled.
"I do not have divine power," Markus said.
"Oh, I am sure you didn't have, but give it a shot. You might be surprised," The shark said tempting Markus.
Markus started to feel something. Like a power. Like an entire ocean that was storming inside him. Markus then realized something was different. It was like had gotten another sense. Markus was extremely shocked.
"What the hell is this? What are you? Did you do this to me?" Markus asked.
"Oh, I didn't do anything. I was just a bystander. I sensed a lot of raw wild divine aura coming from near here and happen to see it all being pulled in to you," the shark explained.
"What do you mean. You mean the divine winds all cumulated into me. That has never happened anywhere," Markus said and ridiculed the shark.
"Oh, it has, but many people just don't call it divine wind. They call it something else," said the shark.
"Called what?" Markus asked.
"Oh, I think you know....."
Markus was thinking and trying to remember from the books he had read. Markus realized what it was. He looked at his hands.

"Winds of Pandora...…." Markus said with a shocked voice.
"Yes."
The winds of Pandora were a vile raw power. Unlike the divine winds that blew across the universe and powered many vehicles and machines the winds of Pandora were born from the actions of beings. They were born from when a lot of death had accumulated in situations where battles had been fought or great devastation had occurred. The destruction and people's divinity all formed into raw divinity.
The accumulated death and destruction coming from the destruction in the capital city had accumulated into the winds of Pandora. It had been said that the winds then found a host to possess who would continue the chain of destruction.
There was also a group of people who worshipped and spread destruction to heighten and increase the winds of pandora.
"Then you must be part of the children of Pandora..." Markus said at the shark with an intense stare.
"Well, if you know so well why you ask?" the shark said with an amused voice.
"You all are insane. You all are monsters. You have lost all your reasoning. You all are just a bunch of sick and mad beings from different worlds. You are the most wanted beings in the entire universe," Markus said.
The children of Pandora was a group of beings that served and created more winds of Pandora. Among them were many gods. Gods that were outcast and hunted down by their own world's gods. They spread destruction and pure chaos in the universe. Many notable names belonged to this cult.
"Hahahaha. Maybe so, but in actuality, the winds of pandora is the purest form of a living," the shark said to the prince.
"What do you mean?" Markus said confused.
"When the winds of Pandora look for a host they choose the being that needs it the most. The one whose obsession and desires are the same as the winds. The winds are a collection of emotions and feelings and they latch onto a person who has the same feelings. It seems your emotions lured them and they gifted you with your very own divinity."
"Hah….What emotions. Never had any," Markus explained and laughed.
"Oh…Let me help you joust your memory," the shark said with an amused voice.
Markus started to drown. He started to fall from consciousness. He started to relive the moment when he witnessed the death of Emilia. Every time he forgot what had happened making the pain come again like it was new. For tens, hundred, thousand, millions of times he relived that memory and part of his life. The pain the suffering. The faces of the people of the Rosewalk estate. The pain of getting stabbed in the shoulder. All of those millions of times.
Markus then again regained consciousness and was able to breathe again underwater. He was breathing heavily catching his breath with his eyes almost coming off.
"How about now? You feel anything different," the shark asked.
"What the hell was that? What did you do," Markus asked furiously
"That was just your own feelings. Your own emotions. Your divine power. While you are here in my world, I can control and suppress your divinity. What you felt is your true self," the shark explained.
Markus was shocked and confused. That was him. That was how it felt. He felt an undying and unrelenting urge to destroy and to create carnage.
"Winds of Pandora are emotions. They do not latch onto a person who doesn't share their emotions. People say we are monsters, but the fact is we are the ones who are the most truthful to ourselves. The ones who do not lie when they look into the mirror. We are the ones who are the most alive."
"So you are here to give me an invitation to your little cult since I am also now going crazy like you people," Markus said.
"We do not discriminate against anyone and all are allowed to work with us, but I believe there is something that you really want," the shark explained.
"What do you mean," Markus asked.
"I think you know again...."
Markus was thinking about what he wanted. The last memory he had was seeing all those farmers and people who had killed Emilia just smiling. He just wanted to bash their heads in, but that wasn't enough for him. The more he thought the more he wanted to kill and maim. The world was in his head a mess and he couldn't make sense of it. It was like a table that was messy and instead of trying to clean it made more sense to wipe everything away.
"Destroy…."
"What was that?" the shark asked.
"Kill. Murder. Maim."
"Who?" the shark asked.
"Everyone. The capital. The kingdom. The continent. The entire Aesis world. The universe. I want to destroy everything. If there is nothing to exist. If there is nothing more for me to be mad at only then can I be in peace," Markus said and looked at the shark.
"It seems you know what you need to do," the shark said and started to swim away.
Markus looked at the shark and saw the water pulling him away.
"Before you leave, tell me your name," Markus said to the shark the was swimming away.
"Oh I have been called many things throughout my existence but I guess the most common name for me would be.....Whiro."
