The monster on the ground started to sleep. It closed its many eyes and laid on the floor like a dog and pulled back its limbs.
“I think this is our chance to escape from it. Inside the fort we will be safe,” Erik said and started to come down from the building.
Slowly the three of them started to come down. The monster was sleeping and snoring loudly. They were sneaking away and walking quietly away from it hoping not to wake it.
They stopped walking when they heard the snoring had stopped. Hundreds of eyes started to stare from behind them.
The monster had pretended to be asleep and was now smiling at the three of them.
“Fuck….” Amala.
The monster ran after them and crashed into the large building making it crash and getting buried in the rubble. The monster soon rose from the debris and continued to chase them.
“We won’t make it to the fort until it catches us,” Amala yelled.
Erik stopped running and stared at the running monster.
“What the hell are you doing?!” Amala yelled looking at Erik.
“Living with my decision and not running away from it.”
Erik charged at the beast with his shield and sword. He dodged the first attack and slid between the legs of the monster. He slit the tendons of the beast and jumped up to the air preparing to stab the beast at its back.
Before he could hit, two hands appeared and stopped the sword. An eye on the monster’s back had spotted him and soon a mouth on the back of the monster was smiling at him. A tongue came from the mouth and licked Erik before starting to put him into its mouth.

Before the beast was able to eat Erik two stone arrows cut the arms of the monster freeing Erik from its grasps.
“Fuck you and your decisions. Don’t go dying on us just yet,” Amala said readying her bow.
The monster grew mad as its meal had been stolen and rushed towards them with Pema stopping it by tackling the beast. The beast bit down on the shoulder Pema crushing his shoulder.
“DUCK!” Amala yelled.
A large arrow flew above Pema’s head and flew straight into the gut of the beast.
“Now, get away!”
Pema looked confused but still jumped away.
The monster didn’t look fazed at all from the arrow, but soon stopped moving and felt a grumbling from inside. Both Pema and Erik looked confused as to what was going on.
A large spiky rock exploded and pierced the monster from the inside.
“When did you learn to do that?!” Pema asked.
“Well, I have been working on something new for a while now. Was not sure if it would work.”
The monster soon regrouped and stood back up. It reformed its body and roared like a human.
“Can you shoot another one of those?” Erik asked.
“No. It’s kinda a one-trick pony,” Amala said and was getting ready to run away.
Pema stepped forward.
“I also wish to try something new,” he said and put his knuckles together.
The carbon around his right hand started to extend all around his body. It reached his chest and neck. From his leg all the way to his waist and naval.
The beast little cared for Pema's new form and armor that surrounded half of his body. It attacked him with beastly rage.
As the beast bit and tried to devour Pema it couldn’t and looked like it was chewing down a rock that wouldn’t crack or budge.
Pema grabbed hold of the teeth of the raxnas and started widening the mouth of the monster. Pema started to stretch the mouth more open with the jaws of the bast making cracking sounds. He then ripped the beast apart from its mouth into two.
Gut flew all over the grounds with the monster still trying to rebuild its destroyed body.
In the center of the ripped creature lay a small shrimp-sized insect with one large eye on its back. Erik rushed to it before it got the chance to escape.
“So that’s that raxna's true form?” Amala asked looking at the pitiful creature.
“Yeah. Imagine something so little, causing so much harm. Truly they are only good as dead,” Erik said and stomped and crushed the parasite.
He then stared with a frown at the two grey skins.
“By the way couldn’t you have used those powers a bit earlier……..”
