Meanwhile, somewhere on the Medellin sea, a Guiscard ship docked at an island that was part of the Sardes federation. Three people came off the ship. A man with a large hammer, a woman with a scar on her face and a handsome young man.
“What are we doing here?” Mona asked.
“We are here to get some more supplies. We need more before we can arrive at our destination. It will still take long before we arrive,” August explained.
Markus walked ahead alone and started to look around the small town.
It was a basic fishing town with a small keep for the lord of the island at the center. Palm trees and colorful flowers decorated the island with all the people looking happy and pleased with their mundane but peaceful lives.
“Is something wrong?” August asked Markus.
“Not much. I would just like to have a test run on something,” Markus said and smiled.
He walked toward two guards at the docks.
“Excuse me, but I have a favor. Would you please die?”
Markus cut a wound on his palm with his ring that had a small knife. Blood flowed out and attacked the two guards cutting their throats. The guards started slowly dying with blood flowing out from their wounds.
Soon people noticed and more guards started to rush to the scene.
“What the hell are you doing?! Now all the guards will be alerted!” Mona yelled.
“No worries. We will be fine, I am sure of it. I just want to test the limits of my abilities and this island is a perfect place for it,” Markus said and brushed her complaints off.
“We are badly outnumbered here!”
“No, we are not…..”
The blood of the dead guards started to rise. It formed into two humanoid creatures with no faces, with long limbs and razor-sharp claws.
“What the hell is going on here!”
A group of guards came to the scene but were soon attacked by the blood monsters. With their sharp claws, they slashed and pierced the guards with ease killing them fast.

The townspeople started to scream in terror as the blood monsters started to chase after them. The blood monsters of the prince started to kill all without discrimination.
As more people died more creatures were made from their blood. A cycle of chaos formed, with every single death creating more blood monsters.
The guards tried to stop the blood monsters but were unable. The monsters were completely unkillable with the weapons just going through them without the monsters even noticing it.
Markus calmly walked through the town where the blood monsters just chased after the townspeople. Mona and August looked at the destruction and horror going on all around them.
Buildings were burning, bodies were piling and women and children screamed in terror.
Markus himself was controlling the monsters and keeping them together. Every time one of them was attacked it chipped away at his power making his body weak and feeling exhausted.
Two blood monsters were sliced up in two. Markus looked ahead and saw a man with a large broad ax. He had large muscles, long hair and a manly mustache.
“What the hell are you doing to my people!” the man yelled.
He was the lord of the island and was bursting with divinity. His broad ax was almost as big as a grown man, but he still wielded it like it weighed nothing.
August and Mona stepped in front of Markus ready to face the lord but was halted by the prince.
A blood monster in the shape of a girl then flew right in front of him. She had wings like an angel and even had a small gown made from blood. She flew straight at the lord fast as the wind. Her hand turned into a sword that cut the lord in two before he could even react.
“Damn it. Manifesting her is even more tiring,” Markus thought to himself and called Emilias’s blood monster back into his body.
Markus looked around as the carnage continued. The faceless blood monsters he created from all the townspeople and guards kept on destroying the town. He himself didn't feel no remorse, but neither happiness.

After the massacre, the town felt empty with only the people manning the ship being left alive. They looked in horror and were too putrefied to sail away.
Markus fell onto his back from overuse of his divinity.
“What did you want to see with this show of force of yours?” Mona asked.
“I had to see the limits of my abilities. I have never properly used them to their full potential,” Markus explained while on the ground.
“Really, or did you just enjoy doing this?” Mona questioned.
Markus was quiet.
“Get back to the ship. I wish to be left alone,” Markus said and commanded August and Mona.
He was left alone in the middle of the ruined town. He closed his eyes and started to listen. He heard nothing else except the wind rustling the leaves of the palm trees. No human sounds, no animals making noises, no children crying. It was all peaceful to him.
“Haaah, should I just let it all be and just stay here. Live a quiet life on my own quiet island. Doesn’t sound so bad right now. Don’t feel irritation nor bloodlust. I feel at peace,” Markus thought to himself.
“Markus! The captain said we can get going!” August yelled at the prince.
The noise irritated Markus and pulled him back to reality. He got back up and walked toward the ship and they soon left the island behind.
