CHAPTER 138: The 3rd Prince’s Past. (Part-2)
----------------------------------------
Over the past billions of years, only 24 such hidden space realms were uncovered, and each of them had remnants of the great battle that ended the Prehistoric Era.
The 3rd Prince happened to accidentally enter a new one that no one else had discovered.
The hidden space realms were basically treasure troves since they were the Prehistoric battlefields with graves of several High Tier Beings. They left behind their Legacies composed of complex Skill Circuits, Alchemy, and Spirit Engineering techniques, among many other treasures.
But they weren't without dangers. All hidden space realms were miniature independent worlds, filled with strange creatures that were even more aggressive and deadlier than monsters in the Universe.
It was even said to have Tier-10 strange creatures living in them, and even the top hegemonies of the Universe had to carefully venture into the hidden space realms.
To his luck, the 3rd Prince didn't encounter one of them when he accidentally entered there and instead found himself in a Grave Ruin of a Powerful Being from the prehistoric era.
However, to his disappointment, he didn't find any treasure there. The only thing that stayed perfectly compact in that Grave Ruin was the tombstone over the coffin there.
Through the gaps in the dust settled on that tombstone, the 3rd Prince found unrecognisable writing inscribed on it.
He tried to wipe the dust off it for a better view, but as soon as his hand came in contact with the tombstone, a notification popped up.
[You have met the affinity standards of this Inheritance. Do you wish to accept it?]
For a moment, the 3rd Prince stood in silence as he incredulously stared at the System notification.
He thought back to something he heard from his master, a Core Elder of the Nebula Sect.
It was one of the main reasons for Tier-10 Beings to be known as the backbone of the Universe-Level Hegemonies.
Besides the apparent overwhelming strength, those at Tier-10 can leave behind their Innate Talent in an inanimate object as an Inheritance when their life span comes to an end or when they are about to die in an unnatural way.
Feeling quite lucky to stumble across an Inheritance object of a Prehistoric Being, he accepted the Inheritance right away.
The tombstone then turned into particles and entered his body, right into his heart.
After experiencing a heart-wrenching pain, the 3rd Prince noticed a change in his Soul Space as another notification appeared.
[Congratulations!! You have inherited a Unique Innate Talent,
His previous excitement quelled by a notch after finding that it was a Unique Category Innate Talent.
It was understandable for him to feel that way since Unique Category ones were ill-famed for their notoriously slow Innate Talent Mastery progress.
Only 30% of Unique Innate Talent users in the Universe were able to cross past the 1st Universe Limit.
Among that 30%, barely 3% of them were able to break through the 2nd Universe Limit, but none of them was able to overcome the 3rd Universe Limit and reach Tier-10.
However, since the Prehistoric Being in that Grave Ruin was able to leave their Unique Innate Talent as an Inheritance, they must have reached Tier-10.
Thinking about that gave the 3rd Prince the faintest hope of reaching Tier-10 one day, giving him the power he needed to bring his wife and child back from that Clan.
With that in mind, the 3rd Prince began to explore the abilities of his new Innate Talent.
The tale has been illicitly lifted; should you spot it on Amazon, report the violation.
In the beginning, he was disappointed since his new Innate Talent was not a combat-related one, but his view on it changed the more he learned of its uses.
He was able to sense if there was any possible danger ahead just by thinking about the course of action he wanted to take.
Whenever the 3rd Prince thought of venturing outside the Grave Ruin, his heartbeat rate would rise significantly, signalling to him about the life-threatening danger he would face if he were to do that.
Because of the ominous sensation from his heart, he didn't overlook the warning and stayed within the confines of that Grave Ruin.
After preserving what was left of his damaged Spirit Pool and consolidating it to prevent any further long term problems, the 3rd Prince began to train his new Innate Talent's mastery level.
Thanks to the
Training in that
During the 3 months he stayed in that Grave Ruin, he managed to reach Stage-4 of
The higher the mastery stage he reached, the more detailed he was able to sense the dangers and fortunes in every decision he made.
Since activating that Unique Innate Talent's abilities don't require expending his Spirit Energy, the 3rd Prince could freely use them without straining his already unstable Spirit Pool.
Instead of Spirit Energy, those Fortune-related abilities need something else to be activated.
Like Time and Space, Fortune and Fate are also interrelated Laws but with different functionalities.
When one possesses 1000 luck stats, they would have the chance to be recognised by the Law of Fate or Law of Fortune.
The 3rd Prince, who had the
In a life and death situation, Fate Stats have the power to save one's life as long as they expend enough of them.
Whereas the Fortune Stats would passively affect one's life without dwindling. The Higher the number of Fortune Stats one possesses, the better the outcome of any situation they face.
Just like how Dante's Innate Talent,
After reaching Stage-4 of
That gave him some confidence to venture into the hidden space realm in the hopes of finding some kind of magical medicine that could repair his damaged Spirit Pool.
Using his 4th Exclusive Innate Skill,
But to not be perceived by the strange creatures wandering in that hidden space realm, he had to follow the warnings given by his heart and often had to hide at various locations for hours patiently and sometimes it would even take days.
That continued for several months, and meanwhile, he came across several Ruins, but each one of them had powerful strange creatures guarding them. Even the weakest of the strange creatures were at Tier-8.
Whenever he thought of entering any of those Ruins, he was warned of a 100% death rate.
Because of that, he was left with no choice but to use
It took the 3rd prince over a year to carefully traverse through the hidden space realm while hiding himself from the strange creatures and safely get out of there.
To his surprise, that hidden space realm gateway he just exited was in the neighbouring SuperCluster to the Virgo SuperCluster.
The gateway he used was different from the one he accidentally entered through Space turbulence tunnels.
So, after marking the space coordinates of that concealed gateway, he returned to his homeland, the Red Elven Empire.
There he didn't reveal anything to his family about how his wife and child were taken away by a Universe-level clan or about him accidentally discovering a hidden space realm.
The Red Elven Empire was not strong enough to deal with either. So, he chose to hide it from his parents and siblings lest they find themselves in trouble because of that information.
Instead, he weaved up a story of having experienced a deviation while ascending his Fire and Wood Stage-6 Masteries to Stage-7 and regressed to Tier-4 due to damaging his Spirit Pool.
Since it was a relatively common occurrence among those that try to forcibly reach a higher mastery stage without meeting necessary requirements, the 3rd Prince's family didn't doubt his words.
However, the Emperor didn't believe that someone as prudent as him would make such a careless mistake.
Albeit knowing that the 3rd Prince was not revealing the entire truth, the Red Elven Emperor didn't pry on his son and waited to hear it from him someday.
Soon, the word got out within the Empire, and the 3rd prince was labelled as a Fallen Prodigy.
But, he didn't care about that in the least, as his top priority was to find himself a magical medicine that could help him repair his Spirit Pool.
Such resources could only be found in possession of Universe-Level Forces and finding something so valuable like that.
Although coming across something so rare and valuable like that was nigh impossible in a lifetime, that didn't apply to someone like him, who has Fortune by his side.
