CHAPTER 111. Qew's terrifying Innate Talent.

----------------------------------------

*****

Till four in the evening, Jay continued to weed out any internal problems within the Enterprise and took care of several external potential threats that could negatively impact their enterprise.

After that, he went to his house and then MJ's voice sounded in his head, "Master, they would reach the airport in the next hour."

"Alright, now locate where Kay and Qew were at right now." Jay mentally commanded.

"Master, Moro is training them within the Hypergravity Chamber in the Deep Underground Secret Base. Should I inform them to come here?"

"No need for that. I will be going there. Prepare a chamber pod for the Secret Base."

"I am already on it, Master."

After a few seconds, a cylindrical chamber pod emerged from within the floor of his house's basement. He entered the horizontal chamber pod that could easily fit in a person, and once Jay settled down in a lying position, the glass hatch of the chamber pod closed.

Then it moved 50 meters deep into the ground and stopped after reaching the junction of a handful of high-tech looking tunnels.

Those subterranean tunnels were created by MJ's quantum A.I's to provide Jay with a faster means of travel without having to be noticed by others.

Especially since the secret base is hidden in an isolated forest area outside the city, and there are chances of someone eventually finding the hidden elevator entrance by following Jay or his siblings or the core security personnel members.

MJ's digital face glowed with a blue outline upon the glass while the chamber pod moved downwards.

"Master, the Secret Base is 22.4 kms (14 miles) away from here. At Mach-1 speed, it would take a minute to reach the destination. Would you like to proceed?"

"Let's make it short, go at full capacity, my body could handle it."

"Prepare for the Impact, Master. Initialising subterranean tunnel slingshot in 3...2...1…Launch!"

In just 3 seconds, the chamber pod accelerated to a speed of Mach-7, leaving Jay to experience several times gravity that was enough to crush an average human.

Of course, professional pilots operating fighter jets at such speeds wouldn't be crushed, but in this case, the chamber pod accelerated to Mach-7 in just 3 seconds, exerting a massive gravity force over Jay, who was seated within.

Those kinds of speeds were usually seen among hypersonic fighter jets.

(Mach-1 speed (speed of sound): 343 meters/sec, Mach-7 speed: 2401 meters/sec )

However, that wasn't hard to deal with for Jay, who could withstand 100 times the gravity.

In just 15 seconds, the chamber pod that Jay was lying in reached the interior of the secret base, and the glass hatch opened up as Jay stepped out of it and headed towards the Hypergravity Chamber in there.

Before long, Jay walked in through the decompression room that was connected to the Hypergravity chamber.

Since it was already in use, anyone who wants to enter has to go through the decompression room that could help in steadily increasing the gravity to match the gravity in the Hypergravity chamber.

That way, the person who is entering could familiarize themselves with the improved gravity without having to suffer from the sudden increase.

Instead of directly entering the Hypergravity chamber, Jay watched what was happening inside through the glass wall of the decompression room.

In there, Qew and Kay were sparring with each other under the supervision of Moro and Esha.

However, it wasn't just a close combat based spar since they were also using their Innate Talent abilities.

The Hypergravity chamber that the Quantum A.I's created within the Secret Base was even three times larger than the one in the Earth's Foothold in Trial World.

Jay didn't guess that they would take advantage of its vastness to use it as a sparring area whilst experiencing higher gravity at the same time.

Even though the current amount was set at 10G's, it's still harder to spar in such a condition as it expends more stamina due to the heaviness of one's own body.

However, what surprised him was how Kay used his Innate Talent. He was creating transparent walls of rule barriers to defend himself from Qew's attacks.

But those rule barriers were a bit different from the plain old ones in the Trial World, as they had transparent chains emerging from them, trying to capture Qew and incapacitate her.

Despite being the one who trained to the peak of Stage-3, Jay didn't try using Rule Mastery the same way as Kay.

Jay only used it to enter dome barriers and to cover the gaps in trial zones barriers. Looking at how Kay was using the rule barriers in a fight, a sense of realisation hit him.

Since Jay was going around improving Masteries of several innate talents, he hasn't had the time to focus on a single one of them, leading to his current predicament of not utilising their proper potential.

This made Jay realise the importance of focussing on a single Mastery. After all, using an Innate Talent is more important than simply increasing its respective Mastery.

A case of literary theft: this tale is not rightfully on Amazon; if you see it, report the violation.

Jay decided to go with converging more elements into one powerful higher element and focus on its Mastery.

In the spar between his siblings, the one that surprised him the most was his sister, Qew.

It was because she was using and to dodge Kay's rule barrier chains. Those were the skills I obtained by converging a few of my skills.

Now, Qew was using them freely, as if they were her own skills. However, what's even more shocking was that Qew was able to use the skill skill without possessing the Wind Innate Talent and without Darkness Innate Talent.

The essential prerequisite of using any skills was that one's own Innate Talent should have an affinity with the skill to use it. That was why a Fire Innate Talent user could not use a Wind elemental skill by simply expanding Spirit Energy into it.

For some reason, was an exception to this concept, as Jay could use any skill without possessing the respective Innate Talent.

Back when Jay had used the skill to burn the bodies of the Underworld Syndicate criminals that tortured his brother, he wasn't yet in possession of Fire Innate Talent. But still, Jay was able to use it. He didn't understand how Qew was able to do it.

The spar between his siblings seemed about to reach its end as Kay surrounded Qew with nearly ten layers of dome rule barriers.

Even though each of those dome barriers was not as strong as those used in the Trial World, all ten of them combined were strong enough to hold a Tier-3 Low-Phase monster in it.

Qew tried punching and using some other skills, but they weren't enough to break it as the dome barrier continued to shrink while Kay's palms looked like they were both pressing down on an invisible basketball with difficulty.

"Sister, admit defeat. You can't escape it. Today will be my win." Kay said to Qew with a gloating look over his face.

In the last two days, the spars between the siblings resulted in Qew winning all of them. Qew seemed to have a knack for close combat.

Under Moro's guidance, Qew progress was so fast that even Esha and other core security members were shocked at her learning speed. They believed that it wouldn't be long before her close combat prowess would exceed them.

Recently, Kay came up with a new way of using rule barriers and with that, Kay gained the upper hand in the spar against his domineering bully of a sister; he couldn't wait to see her defeated expression.

"Little Brother, I didn't want to use this but now that you have forced me into a corner, you have left me with no choice but to use it." Qew said with an eerie smile on her face as a ball of Purple fire with red flashed crawling over it appeared on her palm.

Everyone, including Moro, was taken aback by the appearance of a powerful element. However, Jay was the one who was shocked the most.

It was because the element that Qew was using at the moment was his 'Lightning Fire' element that he created just that morning.

While Jay was under the confusion, MJ chirped in his mind, "Master, it's actually quite simple; Miss Qew was able to use anything that you use her Innate Talent, to converge, whether it be skills or Innate Talents.

Since you created the by converging two of your looted Innate Talents, her Innate Talent left a seal mark on it after the converging process, including all the skills you have converged."

Only then did Jay learn how terrifying her Innate Talent was. Meanwhile, the ball of Lightning Fire over Qew's palm spun rapidly before she pushed it onto the dome barrier.

Crackling sounds reverberated in the Hypergravity chamber as her attack broke through all the ten layers of dome barrier before she closed in on Kay, who was exhausted due to expanding almost all of his Spirit Energy from using so many rule barriers in the spar.

Even then, Kay tried to give the last try in close combat, but it didn't take long before Qew held him in a choke lock.

After nearly half a minute of suffocation, Kay tapped out, indicating his defeat. Qew let him off, giving Kay a breather and said with a smug smile while dusting her hands off, "Little brother, you were born five minutes after me. You can forget about defeating this Big Sister."

Even though Qew was saying that her defeating Kay was pretty common, her thoughts were a bit different from what she was letting out.

'Ooff, that's a close call. If not for the strange element that I could control ever since this morning, I would have been defeated by that brat. I have to train harder and maybe with this new element, maybe one day I could even defeat my elder brother.'

She then giggled to herself at the thought of defeating Jay and flicking his head like how Jay usually does to Qew.

Right then, she heard a voice coming from the entrance of the Hypergravity chamber.

"Oh really? Then why don't we have a spar right now?"

Qew's lips twitched upon hearing Jay's voice. She then turned towards Jay and yelled, "Heyy!! Don't read my thoughts! Give me some privacy. Okay?"

Jay lifted both his hands above his head before saying with a laugh, "Alright, alright, I won't anymore."

He then brought his arms down and continued, "But since you are thinking of defeating me by using that element, let me show you this."

After saying that, Jay pointed his right hand forefinger towards the ceiling, and the same Lightning Fire element that Qew used a minute ago appeared and danced over his finger.

Looking at the shocked Qew, he then asked, "How do you think you could control this higher element and use the skills such as and ?"

Once Jay revealed more about it, Qew learned how she was able to use so many skills and such a powerful element.

"What do you say about a quick spar with me? Don't you want to defeat me?" Jay said with a smirk as he flicked her forehead before heading towards Kay, who was lying on the floor from exhaustion.

Qew let out a grunt while rubbing her forehead and ambitiously declared out loud, "Just you wait Brother, one day, I will flick your forehead too."

Jay ignored her and offered his hand to Kay, and pulled him up from the floor.

"Don't be down; you almost got her. It's okay if your close combat prowess is not as good as hers. You can instead focus on what you are good at. Like your comprehension of the 'Law of Rule'.

Even though I have the same as you, I couldn't yet do what you just did. It will take some time and practice for me to achieve your proficiency. I believe you could defeat Qew as long as you focus on this path." Jay consoled Kay and motivated him at the same time.

Soon after, Jay added, "Oh, by the way, Delegates from a Scottish company will soon be arriving at the airport, go and receive them. As long as our Enterprise forms a partnership with their company, we could soon upscale our Enterprise to international markets."

Jay brought out two sets of a Grade-3 Stamina Fruit and Grade-3 Spirit Fruit from the before giving them to Kay and Qew.

Once they ate both of them and recovered a part of their Stamina and Spirit Energy, Jay said to Qew, "Sister, you go with Kay as well."

While Kay was excited by the aspect that their Enterprise could leap higher, Qew complained, "Big Brother, Kay can take care of them. He is good with handling business deals. I will be no good there. I will stay back and train more."

Jay clicked his tongue as he shook his head before taking out a ruby coloured necklace. "What a pity. If you had agreed to my request, I would have gifted this space storage necklace that I recently obtained in the Trial World. Maybe I should give it to someone else."

Looking at the gorgeous necklace, Qew's attitude took a complete turn, especially since she pleaded with Jay to get her a space storage item in the past few days.

"Hey, Kay, what are you doing there standing there dilly dallying? Let's go to the airport already."

She then snatched the ruby necklace from Jay and ran while dragging Kay with her to go to the airport.

Moro and Esha nodded to Jay before following Kay and Qew since they were their personal security guards.

Left in the Hypergravity chamber alone, Jay smiled, thinking back to Qew's actions. Soon after, he had MJ improve the gravity to 50 G's before beginning his training there.
