The Plasma Predator, despite its ability to draw out only a portion of Plasma Energy, wielded a force strong enough to rival the top higher elements recorded in the Universe.

In the progression of Mastery, the first three stages allowed users to manipulate standard elements, while reaching Stage-4 to Stage-6 unlocked access to respective higher elements.

Beyond Stage-6 lay the realm of the Energies of the Universe, such as Plasma Energy, which ranked among the most destructive ones.

Accessing Plasma Energy typically required mastery over all four foundational elementsโ€”Fire, Water, Wind, and Earth. Yet, the Plasma Predator bypassed these prerequisites through its awakened Plasma Predator Bloodline, enabling it to manipulate this energy at Stage-4 Mastery.

Although its usage of Plasma Energy was limited, the sheer destructive capability of even a fragment made it a lethal force. While it was no match for Jayโ€™s Origin Energy, Plasma Energy was still formidable enough to command respect, ranking among the most dangerous energies.

The creature was aware that advancing to Tier-4 would trigger an automatic teleportation to the advanced stages of the Trial Program. By staying concealed, it could grasp the opportunity granted by a powerful entity to break free from the confines of the Trial World.

Ever since Jay entered the 33rd trial zone, the Plasma Predator had been observing him closely. Unlike most monsters, which could only intimidate and command weaker creatures, this abomination had a special ability to mentally control monsters within several kilometers.

Its range extended as far as the 33rd trial zone, despite being physically located in the 47th trial zone, a staggering 1500 kilometers away.

The Plasma Predatorโ€™s control was restricted to weaker monsters, unlike Olivia, who could dominate stronger beings. However, its range and efficiency made it a force to be reckoned with.

When Jay first entered the 33rd trial zone, the Plasma Predator sent waves of monsters to test his strength. As expected, Jay slaughtered them with ease. The Plasma Predator, indifferent to the loss of its pawns, continued sending more monsters to probe his capabilities, each group falling swiftly.

From its observations, it estimated Jayโ€™s power level to be at the peak of Tier-3. Yet, what intrigued it most wasnโ€™t Jayโ€™s raw strength but the silver energy he wielded to break through system barriers.

Though the creature didnโ€™t recognize Origin Energy, it deduced that it must be equal to or more powerful than its own Plasma Energy.

The Plasma Predator, while not as adept as Jay at breaking through system barriers, had the capability to tear through portions of them and enter other trial zones. The only thing holding it back was its cautionโ€”if it breached a trial zone barrier, it would alert the System, drawing unwanted attention and potentially being teleported to the latter stages of the Trial Program.

Initially, the Plasma Predator was wary of Jay, sensing his unusual power. However, its confidence grew as it observed him more closely. Thanks to its peak Stage-4 Mastery, the Plasma Predator could accurately estimate the extent of Jayโ€™s current usage of Origin Energy.

It concluded that, despite its apparent strength, Jayโ€™s mastery of Origin Energy was too rudimentary to pose a significant threat to a lifeform with Tier-4 High-Phase power like itself.

This estimation wasnโ€™t far from the truth. Jayโ€™s grasp of Origin Energy was still limited to 3% mastery, which allowed him to momentarily solidify the energy or use it in basic applications.

The only truly advanced technique he possessed was the skill , a devastating move capable of harnessing the full destructive potential of Origin Energy.

However, the prehistoric skill came with a significant drawback, it was a one-time use skill for Jay in his current state. He only possessed a single Epic-Grade Glaive strong enough to endure the skillโ€™s power, and it would be reduced to scraps after a single use.

This limitation was precisely why Jay had refrained from testing the skill. With no alternative weapon capable of channeling the skill, he couldnโ€™t afford to waste his lone chance.

As Jay continued to traverse trial zones, the Plasma Predator kept a close eye on him, using its mind-controlled monsters to surveil his movements.

To avoid raising suspicion, it deliberately made the monsters within its range behave like typical trial zone creatures. The intent was to lull Jay into a false sense of normalcy and ensure he didnโ€™t detect anything unusual.

The Plasma Predatorโ€™s ultimate goal was clear: to wait for Jay to reach the 47th trial zone and then ambush him there. Confident in its abilities and planning, it was ready to strike the moment Jay entered its trial zone.

However, patience didnโ€™t yield the result the Plasma Predator anticipated. Jay unexpectedly ended his expedition in the 45th trial zone, choosing not to press onward.

By the time the Plasma Predator realized what had happened, Day-9 had ended, and the System initiated the scheduled rest period. All Alpha Chosen, including Jay, were sent back to their respective home planets.

The Plasma Predator dismissed the group of Tier-3 Low-Phase monsters with a casual wave of its claw.

This novel's true home is a different platform. Support the author by finding it there.

It muttered to itself in a guttural, unknown language, โ€œI didnโ€™t expect an Alpha Chosen to grow this strong in just a few days. The longer I wait, the greater the threat that Silver Alpha Chosen will pose to the Lordโ€™s plan.โ€

Its crimson eyes gleamed with a predatory glint as it continued, โ€œSince thereโ€™s no way to contact the Lord, Iโ€™ll have to accelerate my role in the plan. Killing such a powerful Alpha Chosen before he becomes a true threat will be worth it. His death would lower this galaxyโ€™s rating, and my contribution would earn me enough favor for the Lord to intervene and free me from the Trial Programโ€™s grasp.โ€

The Plasma Predatorโ€™s gaze shifted toward the direction of MJโ€™s corpse-integrated monsters. These creatures were continuing their rampage across the trial zones, systematically exterminating every other monster in their path.

The Plasma Predator had long been aware of their existence, observing how Jay had somehow managed to command these scavenger-like beasts to clear out the trial zones efficiently.

What surprised the Plasma Predator was the monstersโ€™ persistence in remaining active even in Jayโ€™s absence. It quickly deduced that these monsters were a significant source of Jayโ€™s rapid growth. By killing other monsters, they likely provided Jay with an endless supply of Life Energy and other resources to level up.

Despite this realization, the Plasma Predator wasnโ€™t concerned. Each of MJโ€™s corpse-integrated monsters was as strong as a Tier-3 Peak lifeform, and the trial zones under its control lacked monsters capable of escaping their relentless assault.

Even the stronger Tier-3 monsters were trapped within their respective dome barriers, leaving them defenseless against MJโ€™s monsters.

The Plasma Predator also had no intention of intervening. Attacking the corpse-integrated monsters directly or commanding its controlled creatures to do so would risk exposing its presence to Jay.

For now, it preferred to remain in the shadows, preserving the element of surprise. Taking down Jay in an unexpected ambush was far more appealing than giving him any hint of its existence.

With its decision made, the Plasma Predator turned and retreated into its dark, oppressive habitat. Inside the gloomy confines of its dwelling, it began honing its control over Plasma Energy.

Unaware of this, Jay was back on Earth, lounging on his bed after a refreshing hot shower. At that moment, he was casually reviewing the stats section in his STATUS.

After reviewing his stat values, Jay's gaze lingered on the unusual accumulation of Life Energy, which had steadily increased ever since he chose to remain in Tier-2.

This surge was fueled by MJ's corpse-integrated monsters rampaging through the Trial World on a relentless monster-killing spree.

If Jay decided to evolve to Tier-3, he could leap from Lv.25 to Lv.46 in one go, reclaiming the top spot in the Alpha Rankings.

However, it was worth noting that Jay had shared a portion of the Life Energy he acquired with Earth's Alpha Chosen through the Party function. Even then, they had to expend 100 RPs to receive sufficient Life Energy for leveling up.

If not for that redistribution, Jay would already have enough Life Energy to meet the 'Level Requirement' for Tier-4 evolution. For most Alpha Chosen, reaching such a high level in just 10 daysโ€”let alone after an entire month of the trial programโ€”was an impossible feat.

Satisfied with his progress, Jay closed the status window and allowed himself to drift into a well-earned sleep.

Three hours later, MJ's voice gently broke the silence, waking Jay from his slumber.

โ€œMaster, your father is on the line. Shall I connect the call to your wristband prototype?โ€

Jay groggily rubbed his eyes, still lying on the bed, and gave a small nod to MJ. Moments later, his father's excited voice resonated through the wristband.

โ€œSon, come to Headquarters, ASAP. An important board meeting is about to start. This could be a game-changer for our enterprise.โ€
