CHAPTER 122: Hidden threat looming over. {(Part-2) out of 2}
----------------------------------------
Nevertheless being able to draw out just a portion of 'Plasma Energy', it was still strong enough to be on par with the power of top higher elements ever recorded.
In the first three Mastery stages (Stage-1 to Stage-3), one could just use a standard element and upon reaching the next three stages (Stage-4 to Stage-6), respective higher elements could be accessed.
Beyond those six stages, lays the path of manipulating 'Energies of the Universe'. Among those numerous Energies, one such was the 'Plasma Energy', and the prerequisite to access it was to possess all four of Fire, Water, Wind, and Earth Innate Talents.
Still, awakening 'Plasma Predator' Bloodline played a major role in enabling monster abomination to manipulate Plasma Energy while just being at Stage-4 Mastery.
Even though it was nowhere comparable to Jay's Origin Energy, Plasma Energy is still quite deadly enough to be ranked higher among various energies in the Universe.
The portion of the dome barrier that was clawed due to the Plasma Predator's casual wave was big enough for it to leave it.
However, the Plasma Predator willingly chose to stay in there so that it wouldn't be noticed by the System and be teleported to the latter stages of the Trial Program.
Actually, it had eyes on Jay ever since he broke through the 33rd trial zone.
Usually, a stronger monster would be utmost able to intimidate and command lower-tiered monsters but for some reason, the monster abomination had the ability to mentally control monsters within several kilometers around it.
If MJ were to learn about this, he would be puzzled because the 'Plasma Predator' Bloodline doesn't grant any such ability.
Unlike Olivia, the Plasma Predator could only control monsters, that too only those are weaker than itself.
The range of that mind-control type ability extended as far as the 33rd trial zone even when that monster was still in the 47th trial zone, about 1500 km away. (900 miles).
Soon after Jay entered the 33rd trial zone, it sent some monsters to test the extent of his power.
But that obviously didn't go well for those monsters as they were slaughtered one after another.
The Plasma Predator didn't care for the lives of other monsters and sent them in doves, just to test Jay's strength.
Observing how easily those monsters were taken care of, the Plasma Predator estimated Jay's power level to be at the peak of Tier-3.
However, it still continued surveilling over Jay using monsters in his vicinity mainly because Origin Energy caught its attention.
Even though the Plasma Predator doesn't know anything about the silver energy Jay used, it's obvious that the energy Jay used must be equal or higher than its own Plasma Energy for him to easily breakthrough system barriers.
Although it won't be as easy as how Jay breaks through to other trial zones, the Plasma Predator too could break portions of system barriers and enter other trial zones.
The only thing that's stopping the Plasma Predator was that if it were to break a trial zone barrier, it would then be noticed by the System.
The Plasma Predator was wary of Jay at first but calmed after noticing that Jay's current usage of Origin Energy wouldn't be enough to deal with a monster as powerful as a Tier-4 High-Phase lifeform like itself.
It was able to see through that due to reaching the peak of Stage-4 Mastery and that's a pretty close estimation.
After all, Jay was nowhere near bringing the true potential of Origin Energy as he was just at 3% mastery over it.
Other than momentarily solidifying Origin Energy, the only technique that he possessed to effectively use it was the
But, for now, that was just a one-time use skill since Jay only has one Epic Grade Glaive that could sustain a single use of that skill before turning into scraps.
The tale has been stolen; if detected on Amazon, report the violation.
That was also why Jay didn't even try testing
After that, it kept a track of Jay as he passed through more trial zones.
For that, the Plasma Predator intentionally made the monsters in the trial zones in its range act like typical monsters so that Jay wouldn't find anything out of the ordinary.
Its goal was to wait for Jay to enter the 47th trial zone, before trying to kill him.
Luckily, the Plasma Predator's patience didn't bring out the result it was looking for as Jay ended his expedition in the 45th trial zone.
It only realised that after Day-9 ended and every Alpha Chosen along with Jay was sent back to their respective home planets for the Day-9 rest period.
Soon after, It sent away the group of Tier-3 Low-Phase monsters and muttered to itself in an unknown language, "I didn't expect an Alpha Chosen to grow so strong in just a few days after the start of the trial program.
The longer I wait, the threat posed by that Silver Alpha Chosen would grow high enough to hinder Lord's plan.
Since we don't have any way to contact the Lord, I had to bring forward my role in Lord's plan earlier than expected.
It would be worth killing such a powerful Alpha Chosen before he could grow any stronger to lower this Galaxy's rating.
With that, my contribution would be high enough for the Lord to make a move and free me from the grasps of the Trial Program."
It then looked in the direction, where the MJ's corpse integrated monsters were going on a rampage on the monsters of the trial zones within the Plasma Predator's control range.
It long ago knew that Jay was somehow able to control a few selected monsters to act as scavengers to hunt every monster in the nearby trial zones.
But, it didn't expect they could continue to stay on trial World even when Jay was not present.
The Plasma Predator then reasoned Jay's unusual strength must be because of the five monsters killing other monsters, which resulted in grinding to higher levels.
However, even after knowing that, it didn't care about them.
The main reason is that each of MJ's five corpse integrated monsters was as strong as a Tier-3 peak monster and the monsters in any trial zone couldn't escape them especially since the Mid-Phase and High-Phase monsters of Tier-3 in each trial zone were still restricted by their respective dome barriers.
Another reason was that the Plasma Predator doesn't want to alert Jay by controlling other monsters to attack MJ's corpse-integrated monsters and intends to take advantage of that surprise to take down Jay before he sees it coming.
Soon after, the Plasma Predator returned to its gloomy habitat and began to train in its Plasma Energy and prepare itself for what it had planned next.

Unbeknownst to this, Jay was back on Earth, relaxing on bed after a satisfying hot shower.
At that moment, he was going through the stats section in his

After going through the stat values, Jay looked at the unusual amount of Life Energy that was stacked ever since he proceeded to stay behind in Tier-2.
It continued to rise since MJ's corpse integrated monsters were on a monster killing spree in the Trial World.
As long as Jay chooses to evolve to Tier-3, he could reach Lv.46 from Lv.25 in one go and claim back the first position in Alpha Rankings.
One has to keep in mind that Jay also used a portion of the obtained Life Energy to share with the Earth's Alpha Chosen through the Party function.
Still, they had to use 100 RPs to receive enough Life Energy to level up.
If not for that, Jay would have enough to fulfil the 'Level Requirement' for Tier-4 evolution.
To most Alpha Chosen, it was an ordeal to level up to such an extent even after a month into the trial program, much less in just 10 days.
Following that, Jay closed the status window and went to sleep.
Three hours from then, MJ called out for Jay, waking him up, "Master, your Father is on the call, shall I connect it to your wristband prototype?"
Jay swiped away his sleepy eyes and nodded at MJ while still resting on the bed.
The call connected through and his father's excited voice entered his ears, "Son, come to Head Quarters, ASAP. An important board meeting is going to be held shortly. This is going to be fate changing for our Enterprise."

I hope this chapter made the intentions of the Plasma Predator clear. I intentionally showed vague details about 'The Lord' and 'Plan' that the Plasma Predator was talking about. After all, It would be interesting if you slowly find more about it, rather than dumping a lot of info at once.
