CHAPTER 137: The 3rd Prince’s Past. (Part-1)
----------------------------------------
Before the 3rd Prince was forcibly regressed to Tier-4 Low-Phase, he was one of the very few in the Virgo SuperCluster who had the potential to cross the 2nd Universe Limit and reach Tier-7.
Once the 3rd Prince reached the peak of Tier-6 and reached a bottleneck, his father, the Red Elven Emperor, sent him to join one of the major forces of Laniakea MegaCluster so that he could receive the guidance needed to break through to Tier-7.
(A/N: The Virgo SuperCluster is one of the 1000 SuperClusters that comprises the Laniakea MegaCluster.)
If he were successful, the Red Elven Empire would have become the top hegemony in the entire Virgo SuperCluster. Even the whole empire looked forward to that happening.
But to their disappointment, the 3rd Prince experienced a deviation during his ascension to Tier-7 and regressed to Tier-4 Low-Phase without any chance to grow stronger anymore.
At least, that was what the 3rd Prince said when he returned to the Virgo SuperCluster with a Tier-4 strength level.
Although the part about his Tier regression was genuine, the story he gave as an explanation for that was not.
In reality, during the time 3rd Prince joined a Sect-type hegemony of the Laniakea MegaCluster, the Nebula Sect, he not only succeeded in entering Tier-7 but also reached its peak by the time he was 100 years old.
Compared to the 10,000-year lifespan of a Tier-7 existence, even at 1000 years, they would still be considered young.
Although the 3rd Prince didn't have a Grade-8 Innate Talent like the top genius disciples there, he still held a high position in that Sect as its core disciple.
He fell in love with a small street vendor's daughter within the Nebula Sect, irrespective of their status difference.
After receiving her parents' approval for marriage, the 3rd Prince married her. A few months later, he prepared to travel back to the Virgo SuperCluster with his wife and her parents in tow.
But on the way, their interstellar Spaceship was suddenly intercepted and attacked by a group of seven Tier-8 individuals.
Before the 3rd Prince could make out what had really happened, his wife's mother and father dove out of the Spaceship without a Spirit Spacesuit.
For anyone who wasn't at least at Tier-7, surviving in outer space that has streams of cosmic dust travelling together at speeds of up to 70 kilometers per second (44 miles per second) with bare bodies was basically impossible.
But his in-laws were not only perfectly fine but flew in outer space without being hindered by the cosmic dust and fought against the unknown dangerous group.
Beyond the 3rd prince's wildest dreams, his wife's parents, whom he thought to be commoners at Tier-3, were actually both at the peak of Tier-8, the same as the top powerhouses of the Laniakea MegaCluster.
It wasn't just the 3rd Prince, but his wife was also taken aback by the new revelation. Apparently, she didn't know her parents were so powerful.
Just then, the 3rd Prince received a mind transmission from his soon to be father-in-law, urging him to escape along with their daughter as they stalled for some time.
Along with that, he has also transmitted that the answers to their questions could be found in their daughter's locket and the secret word to activate it.
While escaping in their Spaceship, the 3rd Prince's wife activated the locket. It displayed the pre-recorded holographic projection of her parents, revealing a shocking truth about their family background.
If you spot this narrative on Amazon, know that it has been stolen. Report the violation.
To the 3rd Prince's disbelief, his wife and her parents were part of a Top Clan Hegemony that ruled over nearly 100 MegaClusters in the vast Universe.
As a Clan with one of the most powerful bloodlines in the Universe, it even has a Sovereign, Tier-10 Being overlooking it.
Even if a clan member's Innate Talent grade was not high, they could still reach higher tiers as long as they awakened their dormant Bloodline.
For that Clan to prosper, its ancestors prohibited marrying anyone outside the Clan to prevent their bloodline dilution. Not just that, but they also created a ritual that every newborn baby in their Clan had to go through.
Only those that survived that ritual process would awaken their clan bloodline.
That was how their Clan managed to stay as one of the top hegemonies in the Universe for millions of years. But that came at the sacrifice of several newborns in their Clan.
The 3rd prince's in-laws escaped from that Clan despite knowing that it was a major crime in that Clan since they couldn't bear to risk the life of their third newborn baby by having her go through the same ritual that took the lives of their first two children.
After escaping, they settled down in the Laniakea MegaCluster that wasn't under the rule of their Clan and lived as street vendors to lay low so that their Clan couldn't find them.
Since their daughter didn't awaken the Clan's Bloodline and only had a Grade-3 Innate Talent, Tier-3 was her limit. Still, other than her safety, nothing else mattered to them.
After their daughter grew up, she fell in love with a core disciple of the Nebula Sect they were staying disguised as commoners.
After those long peaceful years, that Clan somehow got wind of their whereabouts and caught up with them.
By the time the 3rd Prince and his wife learned all of it through the locket, their Spaceship that was moving at high speeds came to a halt gradually due to an invisible force decelerating it.
They found a hunchbacked old man standing in space with a stick in his hand when they looked out.
Behind him were the 3rd Prince's in-laws, with hands cuffed and bound to magical looking energy ropes connected to the Old Man's hand.
Surrounding them were the seven Tier-8 individuals that they initially encountered.
From the way they stood behind with respect and how easily his peak Tier-8 in-laws were captured, it became apparent to the 3rd Prince that the old man was at Tier-9, a powerful one at that.
With a rise of his hand, the old man split apart the Spaceship that even meteors would have trouble leaving a dent on.
Using an invisible force, the old man froze the movements of the 3rd Prince and his wife before pulling them towards him.
"Sixth Elder, we are willing to receive punishment for our crimes, but please show mercy to them." His in-laws pleaded with the old man.
But those words fell on deaf ears as the old man sensed the unborn baby in the womb of the 3rd Prince's wife.
That angered the Sixth Elder, "How dare a low-life outsider taint our clan's sacred bloodline!!"
In a fit of anger, the old man held the 3rd Prince by his neck and began to siphon out the Life Energy in order to kill him painfully.
The 3rd Prince could only watch helplessly hold down the pain as his level began to decline rapidly. Even his youthful appearance went away alongside his Life Energy and turned into a middle-aged man.
Watching her husband's life fading away right in front of her, she screamed in agony and with her tummy as the centre, a bright orange glow illuminated the space they were all in.
The Sixth Elder froze in his tracks and widened his eyes at the new revelation. His anger was replaced with utter disbelief. He then halted extracting 3rd Prince's Life Energy and approached the wife.
After holding her wrist, the Old Man muttered after trying to remember something, "To think an unborn child could awaken a Bloodline, I have never heard of such an occurrence. Maybe the Clan Head might have some insight into it."
The Old Man then calmed down and ordered the 3rd Prince's in-laws, "Don't make a fuss and return with me to our Clan, if my guess is right, your daughter's unborn child is a genius that has high affinity with our Bloodline. In that account, the Clan Head will waive off the death penalty and let you off with just a minor punishment. As for this outsider, if I bring him there, it will only anger the Clan head; it's better to kill him here."
Then the 3rd Prince's wife aggressively threatened the Old Man with taking her own life if her husband died.
With that, he didn't try to kill the 3rd Prince anymore and instead damaged his Spirit Pool.
"Tch…..be glad that I didn't take your filthy life. In the future, don't come seeking for your family if you wish to stay alive."
After the warning, the Sixth Elder left along with the 3rd prince's wife and his in-laws. But he was left alone in Outer Space without any means of transportation other than flying on his own.
Since he wasn't at Tier-7 anymore, he had to use a Spirit Spacesuit to stay alive there. With enough patience and effort, he could reach a nearby planet civilization and find his way from there.
But, before that could happen, the 3rd Prince was caught up in the space turbulence tunnels and forcibly swept away in that torrent before entering an undiscovered hidden space realm by a twist of fate.
