They entered the building as they walked back to the receptionist they were talking to previously. "Hello again! Have you been able to collect your money?"

"Yes, it was no trouble, thank you for the help!" Adrian said as he passed her two silvers, she gave him his change along with three pieces of paper.

"Just fill these out, and then I can get you fully certified." Skylar said with a smile

Adrian took the papers and handed one each to Gorbin and Gabbie as they began to fill out their paperwork. The goblins were able to read and write due to Adrian using bestow intellect on them. They were able to gain his knowledge of speaking, reading, and writing. The skills seemed to be selective on what they inherit, but basic knowledge is definitely included. It also seemed to differ based on race, as the wolves were not able to speak or write.

They each handed back their papers as the receptionist took them and said "Follow me" as she began to lead them to the back of the room where there was a door.

"You guys will have to do an entry test, so we can determine your skill level and then accurately give you a ranking based on that. Even if you are super strong, the maximum beginners rank you can get is only C rank so don't be confused if that's what you get." she explained

They entered through the door to a big open area with dummies, and targets that people were practicing on. Adventurers had to keep their skills sharpened after all.

"Wait here one second"

Skylar walked up to a man who was sitting towards the back of the field sleeping as she woke him up before saying something to him. They then return together as the man says "So we got three people taking the test today? You all don't look very strong"

Adrian and the goblins confirmed this before the man said "Alright let's go, the three of you all at the same time so I can go back to sleep!"

"I will be summoning some mud golems, each mud golem you defeat I will summon another one of increasing strength. Each one equates to an increase in rank." the man explained.

He had the three of them each go to a separate part of the field and he summoned the mud golems.

"Hey, looks like there are some newbies taking the test today!" one of the adventurers at the side said.

"What rank do you think they will get?" a burly orc said looking at the goblins

"Probably E rank? It's rare for anyone to get even a D rank in the beginners test, Even I only got an E rank evaluation. Unless they have naturally endowed strength like you, it's really hard."

The orc who was a C rank adventurer nodded at this and watched as they began to fight the golems.

Adrian looked at the golem that was standing in front of him at half his size and he knew this would be an easy fight. He simply cast [Berry Bomb] and threw all three of them right at the golems head and it collapsed without even reaching him.

Seeing this the man summoned another golem, this one bigger than the last.

Adrian cast [Berry Bomb] again before he began chucking the berries at the golem. The golem charged towards him as it covered its head with its arms. The berries left a big hole on the golems arms but it was still mobile as it reached Adrian swinging its arms sending him flying.

"Oh the newbie does not seem to be having a good time" one of the adventurers sighed

"Look at the other ones though! Those goblins already finished the second golem"

Gabbie and Gorbin had both eliminated the second golem with relative ease; they were allowed to use their wolves once it was known they were wolf riders. They were considered one monster technically due to their racial trait. A human was allowed to use a sword so why couldn't a wolf rider use their wolf?

Gorbin faced the newest golem that was summoned looking at the golem that was now holding a staff. This was the first golem that had a weapon, he charged the golem with his spear pointed as he went in for a strike.

The golem dug its heels into the floor as it swung its staff horizontally. Gorbin tried to parry with his spear using the momentum from the wolf to gain an advantage.

"Holy Shit!" Gorbin said as he was completely flung off his wolf the moment the weapons made contact. The golem completely outclassed him in strength!

After the golem had side swiped it swung its staff downward landing right on the wolf's head knocking it unconscious. It then began walking to Gorbin who was still on the floor as he said with a begging face "Please be gentle!" before he too was knocked unconscious. He had failed to win against the third golem.

Gabbie's fight with the third golem went very similar, but she lasted slightly longer as her fighting tactics were smarter. However, she was also soon defeated leaving Adrian alone fighting on the field.

Adrian however was still stuck on the second golem! He was unable to breach its defenses! His skill was not doing enough damage, and he couldn't even use animate plants because there were no plants in a dirt field like this! The golem had the terrain advantage!

Adrian circled around the golem staying out of its reach as he didn't want to get hit again, getting hit the first time already hurt enough! And like this for fifteen minutes Adrian slowly but surely whittled down its defenses using his [Berry Bombs] eventually eliminating the golem.

"Would you like to continue?" The man asked, seeing as how he barely won against the last golem.

"No. I think I am alright!" Adrian said as he panted in exhaustion.
