Adrian woke up from the pile of Verdant Wolves, which was very comfortable and fluffy, before he headed out of the dungeon calling out two of the Verdant Wolves. Leaving the one that had been most injured yesterday to stand guard this time.
He let the Verdant Wolves go off to hunt before he opened his Dungeon Stats to see how he was doing.

"Nice! My level is already at 8%! If things continue like this then I will be able to level up in around 12 days or so." Adrian smiled at this thought before he decided to let the dungeon eat his stone ax. He was a rich man now so it was time for an upgrade.
His stone ax only earned him 3 DP but that was fine, he bought an iron hatchet for 15 DP, this was going to increase his wood cutting speed tremendously.
He looked at his Subordinates and was confused because it said he had one, he should have three? Was this system broken? He tried to click on it to find out but was unable to open the Subordinates tab, it looked like his level was not high enough.
He ignored this issue and decided to continue to chop wood. He had two goals in mind for today, he was going to start building a way to ease his access to the top of World, and he was also going to make a weapon to protect himself.
He needed easy access to the treetop because that was his only way to see if any enemies were coming from a long distance, surely it was not because the view was amazing. The fact that he could not see beneath the canopy of the dense trees that surrounded World did not really matter to Adrian. He just needed an excuse to begin building!
And so he began building, chopping the tree that he had felled yesterday. He first grabbed one of the branches he saved from yesterday and shaped it into a crudely made spear that he could use to defend himself.
If you stumble upon this narrative on Amazon, it's taken without the author's consent. Report it.
He picked up the spear and stabbed a few times before nodding, thinking he surely looked quite dashing making these spear thrusts, 'A shame no one was here to see this sight though' he thought narcissistically.
He set the spear down before he started woodworking on the tree, he cut it up into pieces before he began making planks. He made the planks around three feet long and thick enough to hold his weight.
He worked for a few hours making a bunch of them all piled next to World, he reached to touch its base "You won't mind me building on you right buddy?". He heard the wind whistle through the leaves of the tree and smiled before he began building.
Slowly but surely he began to spiral his way up and around the tree before he ran out of planks to use, the entire tree had only gotten him a third of the way up World, and while he was working the two Verdant Wolves had come back a few times with their successful hunt.
Time passed and days quickly came and went, Adrian was at the top of World looking out at the Horizon, it was one of his favorite past times. Watching the wind blow the grass in the prairie and the leaves in the trees. The waves in the coast far in the distance at the edge of the horizon. He watched these scenes as a *DING* was heard.
Adrian was confused and checked his Dungeon Stats.

His dungeon level had gone up! It had only been ten days and he had leveled up, it was much faster than he thought! His leveling speed had also increased because during this time he had purchased seven more Verdant Wolves so their hunting speed had drastically gone up.
Since he had leveled up he checked what new stuff he unlocked and to his relief he had actually gained the ability to leave the area of his dungeon! He, however, was not restricted due to mana constraints like his dungeon monsters were. He had the ability to collect mana naturally from the world, he did not need the dungeon in order to absorb mana.
He started going down the stairs he had made and reached the base of World fairly soon and rubbed his hands, it was time to explore! Well it will be time to explore soon! He first needed to make sure his dungeon was going to be safe if he left, he had been slacking on his dungeon and he now only had that same singular room.
It was kind of embarrassing now that he thought about it, he entered his dungeon before he opened the menu and began to look at possible upgrades, a new room would cost him 100 DP, what a scam! A singular room would cost 100 DP? He bought an iron shovel and pickaxe instead and started digging.
A few hours later he had made quite a decent dent into the wall making a tunnel that was about his size going deeper into the dungeon by four feet or so. He realized that this was going to take a long time so he was going to wait and buy some monsters later to have them do it. He was not lazy, this was just thinking smartly.
