"Hurry up! Grab the Loot and lets get the fuck outta here!" A man yelled as he waved his sword holding a full sack over his shoulder.
"We are going as fast as we can, boss!" another man yelled back as he was stuffing everything he could from the back of a wagon inside of a sack he was holding.
"Steer that wagon! We are leaving now!" The man said as he kicked one of the merchants off of the driver's seat.
"Please! Don't kill me!" the merchant screamed as he fell on the floor.
"Shut the hell up!" The man said as he sliced down with his sword ending his life.
Another bandit jumped on top of the wagon with the leader before he grabbed the reins and began to steer the wagon as they rolled forwards. The rest of the bandits threw their sacks in the back of the wagon before hopping inside as they laughed in glee.
"HAHAHA we did it boss! Being a bandit sure is profitable!" A bandit said as he reached into his sack pulling out a yarn of silk. "This stuff is super expensive! It feels soft as a cloud! I can't imagine those noble bastards wearing this!"
"Pffft what do you know you uncultured thing! That is just regular silk, it isn't worth all that much. Now if it was Dragon Worm Silk, or even Golden Spider Silk now that would be expensive!" The boss said as he looked around on the plains for any sign of pursuit.
"Where did you learn all this stuff boss?" another Bandit asked, curious at his vast amount of knowledge.
"I used to be an adventurer" the boss lied, He naturally was never an adventurer. He was once one of the Knight's belonging to Baron Julliard, and was well versed in a lot of random things in order to serve the Baron properly.
However he was kicked out by the Baron because while sparring with his son he had accidently injured him. The Baron saw this as an error in his duty and promptly fired him. The Bandit boss, Boff, was naturally not happy with this and decided to get revenge.
So when one of his contacts had told him that one of the Baron's Ledger's was being transported along with this Merchant group, Boff decided to use these men who he found in the nearest town to attack the caravan.

"Head towards the forest over there" he said as he pointed to the right.
"Boss, that is the Shadowed Timberland! We can't go in there, we will die!" the driver said as he looked towards his boss in horror.
"Quit yapping and do what I say! The Shadowed Timberland is not dangerous if you don't go deep into the forest. The outer perimeter only has animals, and sometimes very weak monsters" Boff said as he looked at the bandit driver in scorn.
A sigh of relief was released from the bandit's mouth as he turned the cart towards the forest, The Shadowed Timberland.
"Hurry up, we need to find a place to lay low for a while to make sure our pursuers will not find us!" Boff said, urging the driver to speed up.
He whipped the reigns on the horses as they sped across the prairie at a faster rate.
"Why are we in such a hurry? We are quite far from Endless City." The Bandit said motioning towards the pillar that towered in the sky.
"You want to give our pursuers a chance to catch up? Don't be dumb!"
The bandits sped across the prairie before they finally arrived at the edge of the Shadowed Timberland.
"Take out whatever look you can carry, then disassemble the wagon, hide the pieces in the forest," Boff said as he picked up two sacks from the back of the wagon.
They all quickly got to work and disassembled the wagon hiding all the pieces from view in the forest, so it would not be easily seen covering them with bushes and branches.
"Alright take your stuff and let's go" Boff said carrying two sacks, one in each arm.
He was heading towards a tree he had seen in the distance that towered over all the trees in the vicinity. He figured it would be a great place to camp because he would be able to see if anyone was pursuing them if he climbed up it.
They finally arrived at the tree and marveled at its size and beauty!
"Look boss, there is even a lake! What a great spot!" One of the bandits pointed out a lake that was not too far away.
“What is that on the lake? A fishing net?” The bandit said, pointing to the volleyball net not knowing what it was.
"Look there! Those are steps?" one of the bandits pointed at the steps that circled around the tree with a look of confusion.
"Elves?" Boff said before quickly denying this conclusion. The elves did live in the shadowed timberland, but it was in a city far to the east. 'Maybe it was a different tribe of elves' he thought to himself before saying "Let's set up camp here".
As Boff was cooking a fish he had just eaten one of the bandits shouts "Guys come check this out!" as he came out of a hole at the base of the tree.
Boff raised his eyebrow before heading over to the hole in the tree, he had thought nothing of it before because a lot of trees have holes in them so he thought nothing different about this one.
He brought his sword along with him and also a leather booklet that he kept close to his chest as he approached where the bandit was beckoning them. All the other bandits were confused and grabbed some of the valuables they had before heading over. They did not want anyone, or anything to take them while they were gone.
