Ten minutes later the Verdant Wolves had returned and waited quietly next to him as they stalked the Goblin Village that was in front of them. And Stalk they did, for hours, the Goblin's were having a great time eating their newly caught prey (and brethren).
Adrian now realized that this was probably not the most opportune time to stalk them as no goblins would leave to hunt anytime soon because they had just filled their bellies. However, he would not leave because this was a pressing issue that he needed to resolve before it became one that could harm him.
Just as the Verdant Wolves had come back from one of their mana resupply runs, one of the goblins in the village began to wander into the forest away from the rest of them. Adrian's eyes light up 'CHANCE'.
He motioned for the Verdant Wolves before sneaking off into the forest towards where the goblin had gone.
Not too far from the goblin in a bush Adrian smiled as he picked up a stick and snapped it, the goblin, who currently had his pants down and was relieving himself looked up and was startled.
Adrian grimaced because he was just shown the unsightly scene of a little green worm waving ‘hello’ at him. He murmured to himself that he would make this little goblin learn its lesson not to commit public indecency.
The goblin looked towards where the sound had come from before Adrian stood up and made a scared face as he faced the goblin. 'My acting can be considered an Oscar level performance!' Adrian thought to himself as he turned around and ran the opposite direction of the goblin camp.
The goblin chattered to himself and cackled "krue kurmba gorbesh!" he spoke in goblin as it quickly ran after Adrian, even running on all fours at some points in order to chase after him. The goblin was acting as if it was in heat, humans were a delicacy after all.
This chase continued for a few minutes before Adrian stopped running and said to no one in particular "Capture him alive, let's bring him back".
The goblin, not knowing any better kept running at Adrian before it was tackled full force from the side, getting sent over four feet to the left with a Verdant Wolf landing on top of it.

The goblin began screeching in rage and tried to claw at the wolf but before it could even get an attack off two more wolves appeared and bit both of its arms making sure it could not move at all. It may have stood more of a chance if it had its weapon, but in its haste and because it had just been taking a quick leak, he left his weapon back in the camp.
Adrian expected nothing less from a goblin though, as they were known for their stupidity. He began heading back towards the dungeon with the Verdant Wolves, and the goblin in tow. He would head back to the goblin village after he settled this one, he wanted his DP first.
They quickly returned to the dungeon and Aiden entered inside followed by the Verdant Wolves, he picked up the ax he was using previously and was going to finish the Goblin himself, he needed to teach it to cover itself up after all.
As he lifted the ax above his head preparing to slay the goblin, the goblin looked up at him with fear in its eyes before he heard a *DING* and a message popped up in front of him. [Goblin wishes to submit].
He paused his ax before looking at the goblin "He wants to join the Verdant Depths?"
"Very well, I have nothing to lose and if I think about it, then I just got a free 50 DP" Adrian said before accepting the goblins surrender.
Adrian motioned for the Verdant Wolves to release him before he looked at the wounds on the goblin, "Great, the wounds are not that deep! You will heal swiftly with your natural vitality." Monsters that surrender are slightly different that monsters that are spawned because they do not rely on mana from the dungeon, and can naturally absorb mana from the world just like Adrian, this also means they do not get healed by the dungeon.
Adrian picked up a few tools from the ground before walking back to the goblin. "Here take these." Adrian handed the goblin an iron pickaxe and shovel that he had purchased earlier.
He pointed to the tunnel that he had previously started digging and said "Start digging that way, don't worry about how much work it will be because I will naturally go collect your brothers and sisters from your camp to come help you!" Adrian smiled at the fact he did not need to purchase workers as he had just found some for free.
The goblin looked at him with a pitiful face motioning towards its wounds and showing him puppy dog eyes.
"Eww don't look at me like that with your ugly face! Those are just flesh wounds, quit complaining! Now start digging!" he said as he kicked the goblin in the butt towards the tunnel.
The goblin slowly walked towards the tunnel with the pickaxe and shovel as it looked back towards Adrian every few steps to see if he would change his mind.
Adrian naturally did not pay any more attention to the goblin and rounded up the Verdant Wolves before he began heading out again.
Seeing this the goblin immediately began to regret surrendering to this heartless master, nonetheless it could not disobey so it sighed and got to work digging the tunnel as it's master ordered.
