"Oh? what is that sound?" Gobble said as he turned his left and right. He was currently in the forest pretty far from the dungeon doing his scouting and hunting task that Adrian had given them.
"I think that is a river?" Gabbie said as she perked her ears up to listen. The wolves besides them nodded as they barked, their hearing was obviously much better.
The other goblins in their party agreed as they asked "should we go check it out then?"
"Naturally we shall! This will be a big achievement for you all when you return! As for me? Master naturally expects at least this much from such a fine specimen as myself" Gobble said as they began to walk towards the river noise.
Gabbie scoffed as she followed after him and one of the other goblins even spit on the floor in disgust at his narcissism.
They quickly arrived at the river and looked inside and they could see a few fish swimming about. The river was only around ten feet wide and there was only a small current.
Gobble laughed as he jumped into the river grabbing at one of the fish, missing entirely as the fish quickly darted away dodging his attempt. Gobble's eyebrow twitched at this but he did not give up trying again and again to catch a fish but failed continuously.
The rest of the goblins watched this with mild amusement before Gabbie offered "Maybe we should try and use our spears instead of our hands?".
Adrian had given all the goblin's a wooden spear because he had let the dungeon eat their previous weapons. "Great Idea! I was thinking the same thing, only I wanted to challenge myself. But if you insist I will catch them with a spear." Gobble said as he walked back towards the bank.
The goblins rolled their eyes at his attempt to save face before they all lined up on the bank with their spears ready to catch some fish swimming past.
The Verdant Wolves were laying on the ground, a few of them even yawning. They were watching this all happen as they had no interest in catching any fish at all.
"Oi! Why are you all lazin' around? Don't cha know that master wants us to bring back prey for DP?" One of the goblins said to the Verdant Wolves, who begrudgingly got up when their master was mentioned.

With a swift stab Gobble pierced a fish that was passing by as he laughed and said "See? First try!" placing the fish on the bank.
The goblin's fished for a while, and even ate a few before they decided they caught enough to bring back to the dungeon.
"Let's check downriver for a bit to see where it leads before we head back" Gabbie said, to which Gobble agreed as they headed down river to check it out.
They headed down river for around 15 minutes before they arrived at a lake, the river flowed into the lake and it was a pretty decent sized lake. Gobble looked into the lake and saw the dense amount of fish and smiled thinking of the jackpot he just found.
They headed back to the dungeon after checking out the lake for a bit bringing along all their fish with happy faces, even the Verdant Wolves each had a few fish in their mouths as they headed back.
When they arrived they dropped off all the dead fish before looking to find Adrian.
After explaining the situation to him Adrian's face began to light up the more he heard.
'A River! Finally!' Adrian thought to himself. He had been using water bought from the dungeon to sustain himself and the goblins. He even had to use water purchased from the dungeon in order to shower, it was just draining money!
Adrian's mind began to race as he thought of the river, and seeing the faces he was making Gobble began to have a very bad feeling.
"How far is the river from here?" Adrian asked, looking at Gobble.
"It's about 12 minutes of walking that way," he said pointing towards the direction of the river, which was in the west.
"I can work with that" Adrian said as he looked at the DP he had been saving up over the past few days. He was saving in order to buy the seeds for his dungeon on a deal. He didn't want to get ripped off after all.
Adrian opened his dungeon map before making a trench inside of the second room in his dungeon that snaked across it before ending in a hole in the wall. He dug a very small tunnel from that hole in the wall to the very edge of his territory to where he stopped. He then grit his teeth before spending 150 DP to purchase a giant hole that connected to the small tunnel leading into his dungeon.
He did all this in order to transplant the lake from where it was to the inside of his territory. He was also able to make this giant hole which was over 100 feet wide outside his territory because it was connected to the small tunnel he made.
His territory increased along with his dungeon, and since this hole was technically connected to his dungeon the area he controlled increased.
He looked towards the goblins at this point and said "alright, start digging! I already helped you dig the lake part, you just need to dig the channel to connect to the river!"
At this point Gobble blanched as he regretted ever finding this river.
Wanting to complete this as fast as possible Adrian even had the Verdant Wolves help the goblins dig, scratching at the dirt with their paws. They were naturals at it, and it seemed as if they were even having fun digging!
Adrian looked at his remaining 13 DP with a sigh as he again began to save up DP. He loses DP so fast.
