The dark night continues as the wind picks up. The ominous figure continues to lurk outside the house. Yamato spots the figure through the window. After finishing her conversation with Mira, Kiara walks to Kenta and signals Yamato to come over.

“I’ll take Ms.Worthy and get out of here. Hopefully I can make it back before Ryota gets here.”

Yamato walks up to the two to interrupt the conversation.

“Too late Kiara. He’s already here.”

“Damn, I didn’t think he’d be here already.”

“So what now?” Kenta asks.

“Umm! Excuse me! There’s a back entrance right there.”

Mira points to the door behind her. Kiara slaps her head, disappointed that she never noticed the door.

“How did I not- Whatever that doesn't matter.”

“Kiara, take Mira and go. Me and Kenta will stay and fight. No offense but we’ll need all the fighting power we can get.”

“Yeah no problem, don’t you guys die on me.”

“Oh please, we won’t die to a guy like that. He won’t know what hit him.” Kenta says with a smile.

Kiara grabs Mira and heads out the back door. Yamato and Kenta give each other a quick look and prepare to fight. The figure begins inching closer to the front door. Before it gets there, the door opens and Yamato and Kenta walk out. The figure stops and pauses, confused by what's going on.

“Hey mister serial killer. Sorry, your target isn’t here. Hopefully me and Mr.Star won't disappoint you.”

“Mr.Star? Really Kenta?”

“And the hell are you two?”

“I’m detective Fujimura and this is detective Mayeda. We’re only going to ask this once. Surrender and let us arrest you.”

The ominous figure takes off its cloak revealing a silver haired man with white eyes and a sinister expression. His black pants and white and black shirt accompany his moderate physique. His horrid smile and soulless eyes put Yamato and Kenta on edge. His bloodlust thickens the air around him.

“O-okay. Well he’s younger than I thought.”

“That’s what you're focused on right now Kenta? Not his creepy face and bloodlust?”

“Where’s Mira Worthy?”

“Who? Sorry, I haven't heard of the person before.” Yamato says.

“That right?”

“Yeah, are you Ryota Shima.”

As Yamato locks eyes with Ryota, he slowly pulls out his two guns.

Over by the woods, Kai and Hibiki assess the situation looking for an opening.

“Damn Kai, what the hell are we waiting for?”

“Now’s not a good time. We need to catch him off guard.”

Tension rises at the front of the house. Yamato and Kenta wait for Ryota to make a move. Ryota gives each of them a quick look and smiles. Suddenly Ryota forms a spear of wind in his right hand and launches it at Yamato faster then he could react!

Before the spear hits Yamato, a blade of water slashes it causing it to explode into a gust of wind! In front of Yamato, Kenta holds a water blade in hand with his sights locked on Ryota. Kenta dashes towards Ryota and attempts to slash him! Ryota dodges and flies into the air. As he’s hovering above, he creates multiple wind spears and launches them at Kenta with furious speed. Yamato fires wind bullets at the spears causing them to explode midair.

“Damn, he can fly? How’s that fair?” Kenta complains.

“Have fun trying to cut me while I’m up here.”

“Kenta, can you do any ranged attacks?”

“Only one, and I’m not that good at it.”

“That’s fine, I’ll distract him. Get your attack ready so we can catch him off guard.”

Yamato fires a fury of shots at Ryota, but Ryota effortlessly dodges as he flies around. After dodging the last shot, Ryota launches a fury of wind spears at Yamato! Yamato runs to the side to dodge but isn’t faster than the attacks. He stops and fires at the spears hitting each one head on! A massive gust of wind comes from the collision causing Yamato to lose his balance.

Before Yamato could recollect himself, Ryota appears right behind him and bashes him with a powerful kick that sends Yamato sliding on the ground! As he’s sliding, he turns to Ryota and fires at him causing Ryota to fly up and dodge the bullets.

“NOW KENTA!”

Ryota quickly looks at Kenta who’s finished charging his attack.

“Here we go… AQUA WAVE!”

Kenta slashes through the air at high speed as a wave of water comes from his sword. Ryota manages to quickly dodge the projectile but the attack cuts his face.

“TOO SLOW!”

Ryota notices both Yamato and Kenta smiling. Suddenly, a bullet flies through the air and goes straight through Ryota’s left arm.

“What the hell?”

“HIBIKI NOW!”

Kai and Hibiki come out from the woods! Kai stomps on the ground causing a block of rock and ground to launch upwards! He jumps in the air and hits the block, sending it flying at high speed straight at Ryota. Still shocked from the bullet he took, Ryota has no time to dodge and gets slammed by the block sending him crashing to the ground.

As he gets up, Hibiki charges at him with high speed and his sword out!

“DAMN YOU!”

Ryota creates a thick wall of wind in front of him to block the attack!

“Not good enough!”

Hibiki cuts through the wall of air and continues his slash at Ryota! Ryota manages to quickly dodge by the skin of his teeth. The four rookies regroup while Ava stays hidden. Ryota stays at a distance observing the situation the rookies have him in.

“Five of them huh? And one has a sniper. How annoying!”

“Do you understand the position you’re in? It’s over, give it up. We have an amazing sniper locked on you, one wrong move and you’re done.”

In the distance, Ava smirks as she continues to lock her sniper on Ryota.

“I disagree detective Fujimura. I may be cornered, but don’t think that me having a messed up arm means I’m not stronger than y’all.”

“Really? Well go ahead and show us what you mean.”

“I intend to.”
