On the fifth floor, Kiria and Mark remain under a constant downpour of gunfire. Kiria, who’s taken cover behind a metal desk, tears one of the legs of the desk off and launches it at one of the gunners with tremendous speed incapacitating him. The gunners now focus their fire solely on Kiria causing him to once again hide behind the desk.

Yamato uses the distraction to take a couple of shots at the gunner! He manages to take down two more before he’s met gunfire. He dashes across the room taking cover behind another pillar!

Below the gunfire, on the fourth floor, Yuto and ‘The Cowboy’ face off preparing to fight.

“What do ya even want with me anyways? I don’t recall doing anything to attract the attention of someone like you.”

“It’s not about what you did. It’s about who you work for.”

“The queen? I see. What do ya want with her?”

“I’m looking for a certain person. I believe she might know where he is.”

“Hmm… And by taking me out you believe she’ll talk to you? No… Taking me out won’t do anything, but taking Shoma out on the other hand… Well that just might do it.”

“You may work for ‘Madam’, but a lot of your jobs are through Shoma who supplies her money.”

“How’d you come to that conclusion?”

“Call it a hunch. That’s why I put a tracker in your jacket.”

‘The Cowboy’ searches his jacket for a tracker. When he finds it, he uses lightning to short circuit the tracker and throws it to the side.

“Heh heh… And why do you suppose I’ll give up information on Shoma. That is what you want from me right?”

“You don’t come across as the extremely loyal type. You come across as cunning and deceitful. I bet you’d sell out Shoma to save your own skin.”

“Heh heh, can’t say you’re wrong there partner."

‘The Cowboy’ takes his hood off revealing his stunning black hair with light brown tips and his light brown eyes.

“Names Colt Boone, what’s yours?”

Yuto gives Colt a dead silence, refusing to answer.

“No answer huh? I figured as much. Just thought I’d be formal with ya. You seem like a person worth my respect.”

Mini lightning bolts form around Colt’s wrist as he takes a dual shooting stance aimed at Yuto.

“Alright, enough talk. Come at me!”

Colt fires off the bolts at Yuto making him dash around the floor! When Colt runs out of bolts, Yuto charges at him with a punch! Colt manages to dodge at the last second and follow up with a punch of his own! Yuto swings under the punch dodging it and follows up with a kick sending Colt flying into a pillar! Colt gathers a large amount of lightning in his right hand. He raises his hand and cracks it at Yuto like a whip.

“Lightning whip!”

As Yuto raises his hand to block the attack, the lightning wraps around his forearm, shocking him! He manages to power through the pain and pull the whip along with Colt towards him and land a spinning kick sending Colt crashing into a wall!

“Damn, that strength of yours really is no joke... Alright, time to get serious.”

Colt fires off a lightning bullet from his hand with unreal speed! The bullet strikes Yuto, shocking him and immediately sending him to his knees!

“Quickdraw!”

Colt covers both his hands with lightning and charges at Yuto! As Yuto regains himself, he’s met with a flurry of Colt’s punches! Yuto manages to dodge them and hit back! The two continue to exchange each others punches, dodges, and blocks. During the exchange, Yuto manages to land a devastating uppercut sending Colt flying! While he’s still in the air, Yuto jumps up and hits Colt with a powerful kick, sending him crashing through a pillar and rolling on the ground! As Colt slowly gets up he begins coughing up blood.

“Damnit!”

Yuto slowly approaches the injured Colt. Colt begins to tolerate the pain as he finally stands straight.

“Okay, I can’t beat him in close combat. I knew that. But I didn’t think he’d be this good. That strength of his is ridiculous. I’ll have to hit him with something fast and hard.”

Lightning starts emitting from all over Colt’s body. Colt dashes towards Yuto with lightning speed! Before Yuto can even realize, Colt is right in front of him with a tremendous amount of lightning charged in his hands. Colt takes his two hands shaped like guns and merges them together.

“LIGHTNING SHOTGUN!”

Colt releases the lightning at Yuto causing a massive explosion that sends Yuto zooming into the wall! Yuto loses consciousness for a few seconds before snapping back. The attack leaves Yuto’s entire body in pain as the lightning dissipates from his body.

Above them on the fifth floor, the ferocious gunfire continues as if the gunners have unlimited ammo. With both him and Yamato pinned, Kiria decides to act. Suddenly, mini pillars of concrete shoot out from the building's pillars and hit the gunners! Kiria uses the distraction to launch the desk he took cover behind at the closest five men and then charge at the other three!

“NOW YAMATO! GO GET ‘THE COWBOY!’”

Yamato rushes to the hole created by Yuto and jumps down landing on the fourth floor. He sees the damages caused by Yuto and Colt’s fight as they stare at each other waiting to see who makes the next move.

“‘BLACK KNIGHT’, ‘COWBOY’, STAND DOWN NOW! THIS IS YOUR ONLY WARNING!”

Colt looks around assessing the situation.

“Damn! This is quite the situation I’m in. I’ve gotta escape now!”

Suddenly, Colt fires off a quick mini lightning bolt at Yuto with tremendous speed!

“Quickdraw!”

Instantly and with a superhuman reaction, Yamato fires off a wind bullet that meets the lightning bolt midway causing a small explosion! Both Yuto and Colt are too shocked to move.

“THE HELL! NO WAY HIS REACTION TIME IS THAT FAST!”

“Who is this guy? That same attack caught me off guard with no time to react. But he countered it with ease.”

“Any other bright ideas? Or do y’all surrender?”

“And just who the hell are you?”

“Rookie detective Yamato Fujimura. Both you and the ‘Black Knight’ are under arrest.”

Shunji, who’s been listening in on the action, attempts to talk to Yuto through the mic in his mask.

“Yuto this is bad, if he were any other rookie detective you’d be fine, but he’s the ‘Star Rookie Detective’ of the DIPD. You need to end things fast. He’s not someone you want to fight with.”

Yuto stays back and waits for an opening. Suddenly, Colt fires off more lightning bullets at Yamato! This time, Yamato charges at Colt with incredible speed dodging the attack! Colt is completely caught off guard by Yamato's speed!

“THE HELL!”

Yamato closes the space between him and Colt instantly and attempts to backhand Colt with the bottom of his gun! Colt dodges but is met with a knee to the face by Yamato! Yamato spins around and once again attempts a backhand, this time connecting and sending Colt back! Colt creates a small spark in Yamato’s face, blinding him and allowing Colt to retreat back. Yamato aims his guns at Colt, this time he charges up the shot a couple seconds before firing.

“Storm Bolt!”

A wind bullet fires out at a much faster speed than before! Colt manages a last second dodge as the bullet hits the wall behind him causing an explosion that puts a hole in the wall! Yamato prepares to fire off another shot when suddenly he notices a stream of lightning behind him! He attempts to dodge but is too late as the stream hits him landing a devastating blow!

“AHHHH!”

The attack sends Yamato to his knees, unable to move. When he looks up, he sees the dissipating stream connected to Colts left hand.

“Hound!”

Colt charges lightning in his hands and rushes at the defenseless Yamato!

“Now is my chance to take him out!”

Yuto notices an opening and dashes at Colt with tremendous speed! Colt has no time to react as Yuto appears in front of him with a wound up fist!

“CURTANA!”

Yuto clobbers Colt with a devastating punch, sending Colt straight through the wall and outside the building! Yuto leaps through the hole in the wall and grabs Colt in the air. As they fall from the building, Yuto grabs his grapple and grapples to the roof, sending both him and Colt rolling onto it. Yamato looks out the hole and at the roof. He runs to the stairs and heads to the rooftop.

Both Yuto and Colt slowly get up as the damage from their fight begins to kick in.

“Damn, he’s amazing at ranged combat and also good at close combat. Even with the strength advantage, how do I beat him?”

Suddenly, Yuto recalls the time Choji told him about close range fighters beating lightning users with a ranged attack.

“Ranged attack huh? It’s worth a shot.”

Mini lightning bolts form around Colts wrists as he aims his gun shaped hands at Yuto.

“Let's end this ‘Black Knight!’”

Colt fires the bolts at Yuto! This time, Yuto guards his body and takes the hit! He then charges at Colt attempting to close the distance! He attacks with a flurry of punches but Colt manages to dodge them and make a small spark blinding Yuto. When Yuto regains his vision, he sees a stream of lightning headed right for him! He manages to run away from the stream but it continues to chase him. Yuto sprints at Colt making him turn off the stream of lightning. Colt quickly fires off a single bolt with tremendous speed!

“QUICKDRAW!”

Yuto leaps high into the air! Colt smirks as he merges his gun shaped hands.

“Gotcha… LIGHTNING SHOTGUN!”

Yuto raises his right leg high and charges it all the way back.

“DURENDAL!”

Yuto kicks in Colt’s direction with extreme force. In that instant, a large pressure of wind slams into Colt ramming him into the roof and smashing it. Yuto lands on the cracked roof and walks towards an immoble Colt. He grabs Colt’s jacket and pulls Colt to his face.

“I KNOW YOU HAVE INFORMATION THAT CAN PUT SHOMA JIRO BEHIND BARS EVEN IN THIS CORRUPT SYSTEM! WHAT IS IT! TELL ME!”

“Alright alright, I give up. I’ll tell you. Shoma keeps a hidden record of all his meetings with anyone related to the underworld. That way he can use it as leverage if he needs. From what I know, he keeps the records in a safe hidden somewhere in his house. If you can find that safe, it’ll have exactly what you need to put him behind bars.”

“THAT'S ALL? THAT CAN’T BE IT! WHAT ELSE IS THERE! WHAT MORE DO YOU KNOW!”

“That’s all man really! You don’t understand, those records have everything. He’s asked people to do some crazy jobs that even I've had to refuse before. Hell, one time he wanted me to kill this reporter guy and his family at the same time the red raid was going on. I was only thirteen at the time so of course I refused.”

Yuto pauses as he realizes Colt is talking about his parents.

“What? WHY DID HE WANT THEM DEAD!”

“Dammit I don’t know! It was nine years ago. All I remember is him saying is the reporter was digging too far into an acquaintance and needed to die. That’s all I-”

Colt passes out before he could say anymore. Yuto lets go of Colt and walks to the edge of the roof preparing to jump off.

“HOLD IT!”

Suddenly Yamato appears from the stairwell with his two guns aimed at Yuto.

“You’re not going anywhere ‘Black Knight.’
