On the fifth floor, all the gunners have been taken out by Kiria. He stands over them making sure they’re all taken care of. After making sure, Mark comes out from the barricade in disbelief.

“Incredible! You took them all out with your bare hands. You barely even used your powers.”

“Let’s go Mark, I’m taking you outside. Wait for the police there while I wrap things up.”

“Y-Yes sir, of course.”

Kiria takes Mark to the stairwell and heads outside.

On the rooftop, Yamamoto has Yuto pinned with no escape. Both his guns are locked on Yuto. The rain begins to pour even harder than before as the wind picks up and a strong breeze blows through them.

“HANDS ABOVE YOUR HEAD! DON’T MOVE!”

“I’m not your enemy detective.”

“Yeah? Forgive me if you don’t come across as a friend.”

Yamato keeps his guns trained on Yuto as he walks over to Colt’s body.

“His name is Colt Boone. He’s a bounty hunter for ‘Madam’ but mostly works through Shoma Jiro.”

“Why are you telling me this?”

“Because my objective doesn’t involve the police. If possible, I’d rather not fight you.”

“What is your objective then? How does Colt Boone tie into this?”

“He was never part of the plan. He just happened to be a fortunate encounter that accelerated my real goal. I’m looking for someone who I believe works for ‘Madam’. Normally she wouldn’t give me the time of day to talk to her, but taking down Shoma may change her mind. She can’t afford to make any big moves right now. So she’d have no choice but to talk.”

“So Kiria was right. You are trying to attract ‘Madam’s’ attention.”

“That’s correct, and with the information Colt provided I can take down Shoma even in a corrupt system like ours.”

“I can’t do that right now detective, I have to make sure Colt was telling the truth first.”

“I’d rather not have a criminal mess up our best chance at putting Shoma away. So hand it over!”

“Call me what you want, detective, but I can’t give you this just yet. But there’s no need to be enemies. We can work together and share information.”

“You want me to work with you? I’ll pass.”

“Think of the benefit detective. It’s simple, you can get me the information I need and I can get you the information you need. I can do what you can’t, what the law stops you from doing.”

“The law is what separates us from people like you. Without the law there is no justice. I’m not gonna work with you, now put your hands up and surrender.”

“I can tell you have a good heart detective. I’ll be waiting for you if you’re ever ready to talk.”

“HEY!”

Yuto falls backwards off the roof. When Yamato goes to look down, he sees Yuto land on the ground making a crater. Then Yuto grapples away.

Moments later, Kiria arrives at the roof from the stairwell. He instantly notices the rooftops heavy damage as well as Colt’s body beside Yamato.

“You beat him?”

“Not really, I fought him a little but the ‘Black Knight’ was the one who really beat him. I tried to stop him but he got away.”

“Did he say anything?”

“He said he was looking for someone that he believes works for ‘Madam’, so you were right about that. Not that I know if it’s true or not but he also said that Colt Boone, that’s ‘The Cowboy's’ real name, gave him critical information about Shoma that’s enough to get him sent to jail. He got away before I could get anything else.”

“Hmm… So he’s looking for someone who he thinks works for ‘Madam’? And he has enough information to put Shoma away? Interesting... Well we can worry about that later, right now we need to get Mark out of here and put Mr.Boone in custody.”

“Yes sir.”

Yamato takes Colt and follows Kiria downstairs. When they get outside, they’re met with multiple police cars. Yamato gives Colt to one of the officers and gets in another car with Kiria and Mark and they drive off to the ‘DIPD’.

On the rooftop of one of Daimons business buildings, Yuto is attempting to contact Shunji.

“Shunji, we need to get to that safe now!”

“I agree, Shoma is currently attending a fundraiser for the island. His house is completely unguarded. If he’s smart, which I’m sure he is, when he finds out about Colt’s arrest he’ll tighten security and we’ll lose our chance to get the safe. Now’s the perfect time.”

“Right. I’m heading over there now.”
