Chapter (2/3). I'm disappointed.
Chapter 86 Pursuers
Chapter 86
A person was flying at high speed passing though the wonderful scenery around him. The winds caused by his insanely fast speed caused the trees to shiver and the big grasslands to bow under them. The scenery changed as fast as the clothing of a prostitute as he charged forwards.
Shooting forward at this impossible speed, he was actually perused by persecutors keeping close behind him.
There were three of them, all similarly build and in the same age. Only the clothing and their feature as well as their personalities displayed varied. While one of them was exceedingly calm and composed as he pursued behind Zes at mach 30, another was cursing all the time, damning the day at that his mother was born.
As for what the mother had done to the pursuer, he did not know. He only found it funny to listen to the endless tide of curses and foul words that even exceeded his own language skill.
The last persecutor was also calm like the first one mentioned, but instead of the completely unmoving frozen calmness of his ally, this one was showing a bit more emotions making him more lifelike and less like some doll.
Out of his three persecutors he liked the last one the most. While he certainly enjoyed the sound of the second ones curses, he was much more interested in the attitude of the third pursuer.
But as he thought so, a sudden flash of light reflected in the corners of his eyes. As the light was about to reach him, he suddenly vanished and appeared beside the second, cursing pursuer. Punching out he threw his fist against the later's head.
But the man quickly moved his right arm, catching the fist in mid air and stopping it.
“Finally got you little motherfucker!”
Now he was troubled. He had no time to fight this three right now, but at the same time he wasn't able to avoid them. Even if he just teleported himself somewhere else, they would just follow him and while they were not able to get a hold on him or injure him, he also wasn't able to beat them.
He quickly played through the possibilities inside of his head. Then shook his head and said.
“I would have to fight you sooner or later either way, so let's get over with it.”
In the next moment, the body exploded wrapping the pursuer that held him in the white flames of explosion.
The man quickly gathered his qi and with one push exterminated all the flames around him. With burned hair and ragged clothes the man got out of the fire. With cold eyes the man stared at him as he appeared a few meters away.

Heavenly Soul Sect.
In front of the big square inside of the inner sect was a huge building called “The Hall”. It was a building used by the elders and the patriarch to administrate the sect and keep tract of it's affairs. One could compare it with a city hall, or a parliament. Every important decision concerning the future of the sect were decided inside of the Halls walls.
But outside of it's administrative use, there was also another use. It was also used to announce important news to the disciples of the sect. For this there was a big balcony facing the square.
At this moment, there were at least thirty people standing on this balcony facing a huge crowd of a few thousand disciples. Every single disciple belonging to the sect, no matter if core, inner or even outer disciple, everyone was gathered at the square looking towards the balcony.
The majority of them was wondering just what had happened to invoke a event like this. After all, for a huge majority of them this was the first time they ever entered the inner sect, as the outer disciples made about two thirds of the disciples in the sect.
So living in the relatively countryside like environment of sect and then suddenly coming to the city like inner sect it was unavoidable that they would be startled.
To them, a single small house here was a true mansion!
As they looked around them, many of them decided that they would work to their hardest until they eventually reach this place. Thinking about the luxury they imagined here, they soon started to chat with each other and the square started to fill with the excited voices of this outer sect disciples.
Suddenly the man standing in the center of the balcony coughed lightly. Even though it was very lightly and in fact almost impossible to hear faced with the countless voices of the disciples, as it reached the later's ears, they instantly shut up.
Thousands of eyes once again turned into the direction of the balcony.
“My disciples. I am the patriarch of this sect and now, I will disclose a secret to you that will change everything in the sect.
I do not know if we can ever get back to how it was before, but I can promise you that what I will tell you will forever change your view on everything, your friends, your lovers, your mates. I do hope that we can all get over this, but in case that we don't, I promise every single person that he will stay a member of the sect as long as he lives.”
Surprise reflected in the eyes of the disciples and and also the leaders of the major families.
“I as well as the major families are ….”
Bluedragon city, palace.
Reis was sitting in her chair, massaging her tensed shoulders. All the events of the recent years had taken quite a lot of energy of her. The pressure she was facing only grew bigger by the day and while she had to handle the matters concerning the kingdom she also had to push on her cultivation.
The last years of war had allowed her to break though to deity exceeding stage, but even though she was now at the same stage as the former kun clan patriarch, the difference of power was clearly visible. Even though there was no division between deity exceeding experts, the difference in power between a newly ascended deity exceeding expert and one who was only a step from experiencing divine tribulation was even bigger then the difference between a deity and a body stage cultivator.
So even as she broke through, she new that she was no match against the 'gods' of the church. This made her only train more furiously and as she had to do both, administrating the kingdom and at the same time cultivating she quickly broke under the wight.

“Zes, where the heck are you?”
She angrily said.
Right now, they were facing mortal danger and it was very likely that whole humanity would go instinct if they lost this war, but even so there was no sign of Zes arriving any time soon.
As she thought of this carefree idiot that somehow managed to become the most powerful human alive, Reis tension lessened a bit and a feeling of loneliness spread inside of her. Even though at the beginning she had just been a possession for Zes, a pet he got out of fun, with the time she really fell into love this the joking pervert that would never get serious.
Thinking about everything she had experienced with Zes and the bad jokes he was always trowing around, a strange tenderness filled her hearth. Well it only lasted for a minute before she remembered, it's four years. This idiot was letting them down for four years now!
“Damn! When he get's back I will lecture him for good!”
A bit enraged she hit the table and send a few papers fly across the room. As she sighing stood up to gather them up again, her clothes became visible.
They were the standard clothing in the kingdom, a short tunic barely covering up the breasts and a short skirt going to the knees. Aslong as you did not enter a temple of Zes, you could essentially go everywhere like this.
As for the temple, it was a religionlike organization made by Pinia. It worshiped Zes as a god and had the mission to serve him to the best of their ability. Ca 90 percent of the kingdoms inhabitants were followers of the temple, while only 10 percent believed into other religions or did not believe into any god.
Amonst the followers of the temple, there were essentially two groups. The hardcore believers and the normal believers. Later ones just believed into Zes as a hero/godlike being that they wanted to thank through going to temple every week or pray for him.
The hardcore believers were more extreme. They were heavily influenced by Pinia and believed that serving Zes was the reason of their lives. They followed many rules and were very loyal subjects to the kingdom.

(If you don't want to read it, skip to the line !END!)
One rule every believer was following concerned the temple. Ever female entering the temple had to get completely naked and willingly expose her breast and lower body all the time. There were no exception at all and because of this the temple was a very alluring place for young males to gather.
There were even more lewd things though. The hardcore believers followed even more rules then the normal once and when entering the temple, they also tie up their arms behind their backs and enter that way. Girls that become 16 are completely tied up and placed at one side of the temple.
They were used by the men visiting the temple as offerings to Zes.
Other then the rules in the temple, hardcore believers also had rules in their everyday life. For example females were not even wearing clothing in public and men were generally always working in various charity projects across the city (jup sounds strange right?).
But even though this was not the regular citizen, almost no one bothered with the practice of the hardcore believers and most just ignored them.
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!End!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
As Reis reached out to grab one of the scattered papers on the ground, the door suddenly opened and a 17 year old looking young woman entered the room. She wore clothing similar to Reis and long hair fell down her neck.
“Nia!”
Reis delighted called out.
“Where have you been the last few days?”
“Went playing outside.”
“Where outside?”
Reis strangely looked at Nia. The later naughtily siad.
“In the park?”
“NIA!”
“Ok, ok I have been at the monolith. I just wanted to check out what was going on over there.”
Nia gave up her play and admitted. Reis just sighed.
“Sigh~ I know. It's ok to go there and help our men there. But next time tell me before you go.
I had to make Gay search the whole army after you until I found out where you have been. Next time give me a note at least and let me warn you before.”
Nia did not really listened as she said.
“I know I will nev.... Wiat. WHAT? Mum are you for real?”
Surprised she stared at her mother. Usually her mother was always very protective of her and never let her do anything dangerous. To l´just let her go to the monolith, this was something Nia would never have expected.
“Ahhh, I know what kind of person you are. Even if I would tell you to stop you wouldn't hear so rather then stopping you I will just make some rules to calm myself.
In the end this is something you have from your father and to be honest it's not a bad thing. You are one of the strongest cultivators in the city and someone that beats you would be enough to kill of the entire monolith's garrison.
SO for god's sake go and have fun.”
“Thank you.”
“Ha?”
“Thank you mum.”
Nia said laughing as she stormed out of the room.
“And by the way, I'm going to the monolith!”
Reis sighed.
“Kid's....”
