Hi, first chapter of the week. I know it's slightly late, but had to work a bit before. But don't worry, I have no school for the rest of the week and plenty time to write a lot more.
ENJOY!
Chapter 82 MOYOR
Inside of Bluedragon city.
"Mhuuuuuhahahahahahhah"
The crazed laughter of a complete retard spread through the big room. A beauty standing next to a big chair and holding a can of wine in one hand while a small golden cup in the other made a suffering expression. She was serving the man the laughter belonged for quite some time, but in all the time she never managed to get used to his sudden changes in character.
In one moment he is the mature and dependable mayor of the city, but in the next he already changes into a small child that only plays around all the time.
She heard this was something he had picked up from the Lord, the sacred Zes(-sama), but she couldn't really believe that the Savior of humankind had a character even close to the one of her master. This was a godlike figure they were speaking about! If he was really as undependable as her master, how the hell has humanity survived until now?
Of course this was this was an exaggeration, after all her master was still properly managing the capital of the kingdom and even though he had his strange phases, he was by no means uncable or undependable. He was neatly taking care of every problem that came into being, when some million people live in a big city and this city was currently on a siege that would probably take the the next 100 years or so to come to an end.
So even though, she currently had a strong desire to smack him, she couldn't really find a good reason to do so.
Sighting she poured a bit of the wine into the cup and reached it to the middle aged man sitting next to her.
"Is there a reason for this laughter?"
She didn't really wanted to hear the answer, but one of her duties was to always ask her master if there was anything strange happening. In fact, it even was a major part of her contract.
"Banana, of course there is, I just thought about the soldiers that will struggle to take this cities defences down, fail and finally loose courage. So I just though I might also just take the role of a evil demon king to make the setting perfect. The laughter before was just some training for my real laughter that I will make when speaking to the poor souls down there.
What do you think? Not bad for the first try, right!"
She already regretted to ever have taken this job. This reason? Is it even OK to call it reason? She was now taking back what she said before. How the hell did humanity survived if their Lord was like this? How did the person itself survived the way it was?
Slowly the desire to face palm herself grew bigger and bigger.
Nevertheless the forced herself to calm down.
This was just her job. She knew what was coming and she had already endured three years with this fucking psycho... ÄHmmr, her master.
"Anyway, Lisa, could you please get the dancers?"
Her master suddenly said while looking at some important looking documents before casually placing his seal under it.
She blinked.
"Ahm, master, I pretty sure there are some more documents you still have to look over…."
He just cheerfully waved his hand.
"Ah I will get them done later. It's just about the works on the outer wall. There are a few flaws that have to be corrected. Nothing mayor. I will just do it after having a bit fun.
Now that I think about it, could you also invited my buddies? Would be much better if I can play with them too."
The desire to face palm was back in business. But instead of getting mad, she just sighed lowly and gave up on this master of hers.
She was just prepared to leave, as suddenly a voice came from the hall way.
"Already slacking? Father it's not good if you never take your job serious. Maybe it's time to get a new Mayor of Bluedragon city. It's not as if there was a lack of people willing to do it, right? After all it's quite the nice position."
Cold sweat suddenly began to ran down the middle aged man's back as he turned around looking into the hallway. he couldn't help but laugh dryly as he saw the person that emerged out of the shadows.
Les Bluedragon one of the four governors facing her father, gay Bluedragon the major of Bluedragon city.
"Dear, it isn't how it looks like."
Gay said with suffering voice.
"Oh it isn't?

Then let's ask Lisa. What was my father doing right now?"
Smiling Les looked towards Lisa.
The sweat ran down Guys back in streams as he suddenly stood up and flashed to the next window attempting to escape.
"FREEDOM"
This were the last words of Gay Bluedragon….
Before Les got him at his collar and pulled him all across the room.
"Now, now, where are you going? You still have a lot of work to do, haven't you? After all, the only thing holding you alive is your hard work, right?"
A cold smile crept right over her beautiful face. Gay only managed to weakly nod, as he was cursing his own fate. Of course only inside of his mind, if Les would have heard him saying only one word about it, she was almost certain to torture him until he really wanted to die.
Grumbling in a low voice he sat on his table and started to slowly work through the documents on his table. And thus were not a few dozen, there were literally mountains of papers waiting for him to put his seal under it and every single of them had to be carefully read and analyzed.
"Sigh, this will take months…"
Gay had already given up and without putting on resistance he started to cleanly work on the seemingly endless paperwork.
"It's your own fault for not doing it straight away. If you had worked on them as soon as you got them, they wouldn't have become so much at once."
"But it's sooooo muuuuch."
Gay started to act like a small child.
"Ah, stop it, this act doesn't work on us.
Rather, let's get serious. There are quite some enemies before our gates, and even though we have cut down their numbers a bit, it's still a lot more then us. This city can most likely hold for a few years even if these gods attack, but after that we will have no where to run.
What can we do? Any ideas?"
Finally Gay got serious. Wryly smiling he said.
"What can we do? Our only option is to hope that Zes comes back in time."
"…"

Same time Heavenly soul sect.
"Patriarch, here are the reports our men got from outside."
A young man bowed before the patriarch and handling him a thick stable of papers. Then he quickly left the small stone room leaving the young figure of the patriarch alone.
The latter sat down on the ground slowly studying the reports written on them. There were many of them written from different spies in the world.
Three months ago, the patriarch suddenly felt that something wasn't right. The rumors that came to his ears became more and more unbelievable and news from the outside also became more and more sparse. Because of this he send out some disciples to check out the situation outside.
They were send into different direction and quickly gathered information in different places.
This thick stable of papers was the result of three months of continuos interrogation and observation, holding everything inside they had found out about the current situation outside.
As the patriarch read the report, his face suddenly became pale and with every site he read it got a bit harder and colder. 10 minutes later a cold faced patriarch quickly left the room and with quick steps he crossed the mansion. At the same time he had spread out his soul realm searching of a special person.
A moment later he had already found the person in question and in the next second he had already appeared next to Zes, who was merrily chatting with Jeane.
Zes instantly noticed the patriarchs arrival and as he saw the latter's expression he frowned.
"What happened?"
The patriarch looked to Jeane.
"Jeane, dear. I will have to have a little chat with Zes here, might you leave us alone for a moment?"
Although Jeane was a bit shocked about the sudden arrival of her father and very interested just what had happened to alarm him to this extent, but she had been raised properly and understood that there were thing, in that she shouldn't get involved lightly.
She lightly noded and stood up from the chair she sat on. Then she gracefully went into the direction of a small pond with fishes a few meters away, starting to observe the small fishes inside.
The Patriarch, smiled happily. Which father wouldn't be happy about a well raised daughter like this? But he got serious right away.
"Zes, we have to act. NOW!"
