Chapter 54 Heavenly Soul Sect

Chapter 54 Heavenly Soul Sect

Hi guys. I have a problem...... I'm simply unable to write something and don't post it. Furthermore I'm pretty stressed with school right now. Because of this I will just write when ever I can and upload it when I'm done with it. There will be at least three chapters a week but it might (or will) be more. Also, in the last chapter Zes gave the girls including Reis a hundred years to reach deity exceeding stage. Maaran was just told to follow him.

Enjoy the chapter!

Chapter 54 Heavenly Soul Sect

Three years later.

A young man with disorderly brown hair and a really tired expression slowly stood up from his chair located in a little hut surrounded by a small garden. Sleepily he rubbed his eyes and blinked until he could clearly see again. Then he stood still for few moments to enjoy the morning scenery before his eyes. The sun was shining down on the vegetables growing close to a little wooden house standing all alone at the entrance of a valley. The sun was barely reaching over the tall mountains on both sides and the young man was enjoying the morning sun on his body while listening to the sounds of small birds singing on the near ancient looking trees.

In truth, these trees were only about a hundred years old but they still had a radius of about five meters and were at least 80 meters high. Well, compared to the other trees in the valley, these trees could truly be considered as ancient. That was because other than the small group of huge threes, nothing was older than 13 years! Even the other small woods and the mountains surrounding them were at most 13 years old if not younger.

The young man just sighed. There was no point in thinking about this. All of this had already happened and he wasn't able to change anything about it either way.

Suddenly sound of a bell was echoing through the valley forcibly putting his thoughts to an end. Instead of the relaxed expression of morning laziness, a frightened expression appeared on his face. He quickly changed his clothes into formal ones and left the house cursing aloud.

"Shit, I'm late again…"

Without even time to curse anymore, the young man started to run towards the other end of the valley following a small way which was stamped into the ground by numerous steps many times. On his way, he encountered many other huts similar to his and their distressed inhabitants that had also overslept. Soon he was together with a group of at least a dozen people that were all rushing towards a point on the other side of the valley.

After 10 odd minutes, they all reached the end of the valley only to reach a much bigger round shaped valley. Uncountable number of people wearing the same outfits like them were streaming into the valley following little trails into the inner of the valley. There were four other valleys like the one he came from and they were all ending in this huge circular shaped valley. In the middle of that valley there was a city surrounded by a tall wall of stone. Lights were shimmering around the walls and in the space above the city betraying the uncountable formations that had been laid there.

Inside of the city were two areas separated by a second wall. If looking closely, you would see that the buildings in the outer area, which was about two times the inner area, were smaller and less decorated than the ones inside. Also in the middle of the area separated by the second wall was a tall pagoda reaching at least 400 meters into the sky.

This city was the main location of the Heavenly Soul Sect, the biggest Illis sect in this realm. The countless people rushing over from the side valleys were all outer disciples that were not qualified to enter the inner sect that was located in the outer area of the city. They all were not rushing to the city itself but rather to a small theater situated a few hundred meters outside of it.

The theater was built fairly simple. It was composed of big white stones layered in succession until reaching the circular form of an arena it had. Inside of it were seatings of the same stone all around and in the middle was a podium with an armchair standing on it. All of the outer disciples were currently heading towards this theater. This was because inside of it, an inner sect disciple would hold a lecture for them.

This was one of the few benefits outer sect disciples would receive from the sect. Every week there would be a lecture hold by an inner sect disciple that would give the outer disciples pointers on cultivation and the questions that would arose with cultivation. If lucky, inner disciple would even pass a low level attack technique to them. It's called low level but to outer sect disciples it was a valuable treasure that could help them in their lives and even impact their chances of entering the inner sect and get access to better cultivation resources. That was because the amount of attack techniques that outer disciples were provided was extremely limited. Only after becoming an inner disciple, they would easily acquire techniques by doing service for the sect. On the other side there was the possibility of becoming an inner sect disciple by completely comprehending an attack technique. This was why all the outer disciples were motivated to do their best to become an inner sect disciple and get all the luxuries they enjoyed.

For example inner sect disciples could choose three attack techniques right away. Through service to the sect like guarding the sect entrance or collecting cultivation treasures, they could acquire more of them. Furthermore if they were able to completely comprehend one of the ones they chose, they would be rewarded with another technique. But the greatest benefit in being an inner sect disciple was undoubtedly the right to stay in the main valley.

Inside of the main valley where the main sect was composed of the inner and core sect was located, the energy called Divine Soul Energy which was used to cultivate their soul realm was much denser than in the outer valleys where the outer sect was located. The only time the outer sect disciples were allowed to enter the valley was once a week to listen to the lecture inside of the theater.

So naturally there was no one willing to come too late to the lecture and waste precious cultivation time and the chance to acquire an attack technique. Well, in fact even though the lectures were visited by the biggest part of the outer sect disciples, there was always a part that stayed behind. But this morning there was no one willing to miss the lecture out. Actually even if someone would offer them an attack technique as compensation for their place in the theater they would think twice before eventually agreeing to the offer. Many wouldn't even consider the offer at all.

This was because today there was a special inner sect disciple holding the lecture. This inner disciple had only been in the sect for three years and his arrival had caused a huge uproar. This was because in terms of comprehension not even the elders of the sect were able to beat him! Only the patriarch was somehow able to hold his ground against him. This was also the cause why he was immediately made an inner disciple and enjoyed special privileges in the sect.

To listen to a person that had a comprehension comparable to the one of the patriarch, who would willingly give up that chance?

The theater was quickly filled with outer disciples and chatter was splattered all over the place. A young man walked from an entrance under the seats and with quick steps strode to the podium. There was one thing truly particular about this young man. There was no emotion on his face. Only coldness in his frozen expression.
