Teleport

"What the fuck was that," Dawn muttered while trying to catch his breath.

He was almost dead meat. Luckily he survived.

"Where the hell I am." Dawn roared in anger and frustration.

Dawn soon realized shouting and crying wouldn't take him anywhere.

He closed his eyes and tried to calm his mind.

He looked downwards toward the passageway hoping to find something to heal his wound.

But venturing into an unknown place was too risky, and the pain in his shoulder was increasing with every passing moment.

He decided to take the risk and head downwards, as he made his way downward the corridor started to light up on its own, illuminating a wide hall at the end of the corridor. He was relieved as there was no sign of danger.

"What was this place?" Dawn couldn't help but question his mind.

He hurriedly went inside the hall which was designed like some kind of transport station like a railway or airport but there were no signs of railway tracks or runways.

He had entered from the south of the hall, there was an arrangement for people to sit, in the north of the hall. Something resembling a kitchen was in the East and a stage in the West.

He hurriedly went to the canteen with hopes of finding something to eat. After getting there what he was able to find was a can of Coke lying on the table. Without thinking too much he hurriedly opened the can and drank it in one go. The taste of the liquid inside was like pineapple, and he liked the taste of it.

While holding the can in one hand he casually took a sip and surveyed the surroundings carefully.

If anyone looked at him at this moment they wouldn't be able to tell that he was fighting for his life just a moment ago

Everything looked normal but gave Dawn a strange feeling. Like how he was feeling hungry enough to swallow a tiger in one bite but this can whatever it was, was enough to quench his thirst and satiate his hunger at the same time, healing his wound only leaving the bite marks.

This novel's true home is a different platform. Support the author by finding it there.

Now that his hunger was gone he decided to head to the area that looked like a stage he carefully made his way there, and just as he stepped on the stage he heard a prompt.

The teleportation will begin in 5 seconds. Dawn was shocked for a moment; his eyes widened in incredulity, thinking he must be hearing things. But he didn't have time to think too much before he was swallowed by white light.

"Oh! There is still one guy left ..ha," came the voice of a middle-aged man in front of Dawn before he could process anything.

The middle-aged was dressed in a military uniform looking dignified.

Dawn was still trying to make sense of the situation. He didn't know how he had teleported and appeared in front of this stern-looking man.

As if that wasn't enough, he started remembering all sorts of information. It appeared as if these memories had just been unlocked, so when he heard the voice of the man, he subconsciously spoke, "Yes, sir."

The man in military uniform looked at him with a casual gaze seemingly not interested in Dawn's greeting.

The name of the man in military uniform was Dennis. He was the commander of the northern base camp of the River Empire situated in a frozen area with snow all around.

Dennis was just about to retire for the rest of the night when this child appeared.

Anyone who appeared in this base camp was a simple cultivator, the little guy had no backing.

"Report your name and city you are from," Dennis questioned in a commanding voice with no room for refusal.

Dawn hurriedly searched through his newly found memories hoping to find the answer to these questions, finally, he found something useful, "Dawn Asylum from the Green Pine City of the middle province".

Dawn's reply was short and precise not letting any nervousness leak, although his heart was about to explode from all this nervousness. Dawn himself was surprised by his behaviour.

Middle province and Asylum, Dennis didn't remember anyone with an Asylum surname. After thinking about it for a moment he said," You are dismissed."

After hearing about his name and province Dennis was no longer interested. After all, there was nothing special about the middle province anyway.

Hearing the orders, Dawn made a salute with his right hand and started walking backwards while still facing the superior, after one metre he turned around and left.

Dennis didn't bother looking at him and started going through the list of candidates floating in front of him,.."if any of these little guys can survive here," he said with pity.

Dawn walked back to his room according to the newly unlocked memories.

Dawn's mind was still in shock, the first thing that he remembered, he was trying to fall asleep in his room, and in the blink of an eye, he was in the green plains with a peaceful but strange environment.

Although his predecessor probably wouldn't have agreed with him. According to his predecessor's memory, yes his predecessor's memory he somehow transmigrated but he wasn't in shock or disbelief, after all, there is a probability of everything happening in this vast universe.

Endless Green Plain was a mystical region with total isolation from outside regions. Under the rules of the plain everyone was equal whether they be god or Buddha.

Thinking about all these things he successfully found his room at the end of the gallery. Silently opening the door without alerting anyone without bothering to change his clothes he swiftly laid on the bed and fell asleep.
