Dawn was currently standing in front of Commander Dennis's office. He wore a neatly pressed military outfit, complete with a green jacket adorned with shiny buttons. Dawn's attire looked very organized and official.
Dawn waited patiently with a calm look in his eyes, four days had passed since they arrived at the Frozen Graveyard.
They submitted the report of last month to Captain Nios as per the protocol. In that report, Dawn had decided to talk about the strange mural that he found in the hole.
Dawn was sure that the mural was a big trouble. He had also revealed his cultivation to that of Body refining rank 5. Dawn will never forget the reaction of Captain Nios, he smiled after thinking about it.
" I wonder what the affinities of Lucy and others are."
Dawn muttered in a low voice. All of them had taken the affinity test yesterday, he didn't know what their affinities were.
"Hehe… That woman should have an affinity related to the Ice element." Sugar's voice resounded in his head. Dawn ignored as if he didn't hear what she said.
This annoying girl always irritated him. He was tired of her voice, constantly spouting nonsense out of her mouth. Dawn's eyebrows twitched in annoyance.
Suddenly he heard the deep voice of Commander Dennis in the hallway." Cadet Dawn Asylum you can come inside."
After hearing the voice he hurriedly came in front of the gate while fixing his uniform. He silently waited for the gate to open with his hands behind his back.
Dawn wanted to appear as sensible and harmless as possible. He wanted to build a good image.
The door of the office opened automatically, Dawn walked inside in a confident gait.
Commander Dennis was standing in front of bookshelves while holding a book in one hand.
And something like a cigar in the other.
Dawn stood 3 meters away and waited for the commander to speak. The room was bathed in a radiant illumination, perfectly complementing the vibrant hues of the stone floor beneath his feet.
The room was filled with countless rows of bookshelves, filled with all sorts of books containing knowledge of all kinds.
Dawn felt as if the commander was a mortal who had never cultivated. But that was just an illusion of his, the commander was a full-fledged Stage 4 cultivator.
The commander finally closed his book and turned his head in the direction of Dawn.
This tale has been pilfered from Royal Road. If found on Amazon, kindly file a report.
"Ohh! You broke through to the Body Refining Rank 5. Good, Good, Good." The commander spoke in a surprised voice. He repeated good three times indicating how happy he was.
"My base Camp finally managed to produce a prodigy, I will be able to boast like other commanders in the next meeting… haha haha."
Commander laughed boisterously and looked at Dawn with an approving gaze.
Dawn stood still like a statute, he silently listened without a change in his expression.
Dennis suddenly felt silent and a serious expression appeared on his face
" Dawn you have contributed greatly to the safety of the empire by providing such crucial information."
Dawn listened to his praise with an indifferent face and finally said in the end," It was my duty, sir."
"Good, Very Good. One month later the Academy will start to recruit cadets. I will definitely recommend you for a spot in the best academy of the Empire." Dennis finally spoke the words that Dawn was eager to listen to.
Dawn had purposefully decided to write about the mural in the report. According to the information that he had gathered from the internet, it was impossible to get into the top academy without the approval of Commanders or Authority of the same rank.
"Additionally I will give you a grade 2 technique of your choice." Commander Dennis continued in a serious voice.
Dennis's voice sounded like music to Dawn's ears. But Dawn made sure to not show his happiness outside, he continued to maintain an expressionless face.
"What's your primary weapon," Dennis questioned.
"Sword." Dawn gave a short reply, although he rarely used a sword.
Dennis's expression turned contemplative and he gestured for something in the air and information about three sword techniques appeared in Dawn's head to choose from.
Celestial frost strike, Phoenix flame blade and Shadow Serpent Dance.
Dawn thought for a moment and said, "Shadow Serpent Dance."
"Excellent choice if I was at your place I would have chosen the same." Commander Dennis was satisfied with his choice.
"Now you can take your leave, I have other things to do." the commander said and turned his attention away from him.
Dawn walked backwards and left the room without saying a word.
Dawn was happy with the outcomes, everything has unfolded seamlessly aligning perfectly with his meticulously crafted plan. To his delight, he got a grade 2 technique as a bonus. Now he will just have to wait for a month to pass.
He casually walked back to his room while looking at the Shadow Serpent Dance.
[Shadow Serpent's Dance: A technique that mimics the fluid and unpredictable movements of a serpent, making the swordsman virtually untouchable in combat.]
A description of the technique appeared in front of him, Dawn was surprised by the sudden window. It was the first time that he got a pop-up like this.
Anyway, the technique was to his liking and suited him a lot, he couldn't wait to practice it in the Warrior's paradise.
After thinking about Warriors Paradise he revealed a strange smile. He couldn't wait to bully the weak….hehe practice with the weaker opponents.
Dawn once again appeared in the dark space,
"Welcome Back! Wandering Snowflake." a monotone voice of AI Echoed in the dark space.

His profile appeared in front of him, he managed to gather 10 followers in the past 4 days but he still didn't get a rank.
Dawn tapped on the Quick Match and he appeared in a marshy area. The ground was covered with brown-coloured water. The condition wasn't good for the rapid movement.
Suddenly a bright white light flashed and his opponent appeared in from of him.
A young man clad in regal violet armour appeared. Above him, his name shimmered in Golden hue.
"Rose Marie Marlow." Dawn glanced at the weird name and a strange look appeared on his face.
"What sort of name is this," He thought.
