Lucy dressed in black was standing at the entrance of the cave, Dawn looked at her with an indifferent face.
She looked at him silently for several seconds without speaking and observed his surroundings carefully.
After almost a minute where the two observed each other with different thoughts, Lucy lightly clenched her snow-white teeth and opened her mouth with reluctance.
"Are you alright? I heard the loud noise of an explosion coming from inside." Her voice was hoarse as if she hadn't spoken for a long time.
After speaking she turned her head away and looked at the ground with focus as if the secret to immortality was carved on the ground.
Dawn heard her question with an indifferent face. Although he was surprised by her words.
Why would she care about him? Dawn was glad that he had dismissed the wizard otherwise if she saw his monster, he didn't know how she would react.
Dawn wasn't afraid of people finding out about his monster or anything he just didn't want to deal with follow-up questions. It would be better if people didn't know about it.
" I'm fine. I was just practising my combat technique, nothing to worry about." Dawn said in a plain voice. He wasn't interested in conversing with her, he wanted to end this conversation as fast as possible.
Lucy frowned after hearing his reply. Such audacity! How dare he talk to the princess of Berserk Dragon Empire with such disrespect. If she was in the empire such behaviour would have been punishable by death.
Her frown deepened. She wanted to strangle the guy who came up with the ceremony of Coming of Age. Why does she have to travel the world as a wanderer and bear such disrespect?
Coming-of-age ceremony that has been going on for thousands of years. The young Prince and Princess of the Berserk Dragon Empire had to travel the world for two years without the empire's backing and prove themselves.
In these 2 years, they had to break through into the Channel Construction otherwise they could never return and claim their royal status.
Lucy's lips twitched continuously and her eyes trembled softly but she didn't say anything. She was curious as to why her talent reacted strongly whenever this guy was around her.
Stolen story; please report.
"Anything else, if not then I would like to leave first," Dawn asked her in a monotone voice, he wanted to leave this place as quickly as possible and play with his new skill.
Without waiting for her response he walked away, after watching his behaviour Lucy stomped the ground beneath her feet and followed him.
After walking for 100 metres, Dawn was shocked to see over fifty corpses of Demonic wolves scattered everywhere.
All of them had been beheaded with a powerful sword slash. Blood from the corpses had gathered in a small pool emitting a pungent smell.
Obviously, to reach the entrance of the cave Lucy had ended the lives of this wolf pack by herself. Dawn could still feel the aura of the dead wolves, some of them were at body refining Rank 3.
However, one thing he could not understand was how she was able to take care of the wolves at rank 3 when she herself was at rank 2.
Dawn glances at the girl behind him, he couldn't see any sword in her hand. Where did the sword go? Maybe a space ring, he pondered.
Lucy could see the inquisitive look in Dawn's eyes. However, she had no intention of speaking about anything.
Dawn also said nothing and focused on walking back to the patrol building. The two walked through the darkness silently following their marked way.
Neither of them said anything as they both seemed to be preoccupied in their own world.
Suddenly a group of 10 monsters appeared directly in front of them blocking their way. However, Dawn released a bit of his pressure in their direction.
The wolf's eyes narrowed and they ran with all their strength the way they came from. Fortunately, no other monster came to disturb them after that.
Seeing this Lucy could not help but feel a tinge of jealousy. If she had higher cultivation than he had, her life would have been much easier.
Dawn suddenly stopped in his tracks and a weird expression appeared on his face. He suddenly heard the voice of his talent in his head.
[Ding! The skill mana bending has levelled up. Mana bending level 3]
Dawn wasn't even using the skill at this time how it had managed to level up. Maybe he was super talented when it came to mana.
Lucy looked at his back with a strange expression. Why has this stopped and looked at the air like an idiot?
Dawn didn't care about her thoughts; he was happy. After walking for another 40 minutes they reached the patrol building.
Lucy and Dawn parted their ways and went to their respective rooms. He didn't see other guys so he had no reason to waste his time.
Just like this another fifteen days passed. The mission of the members of Unit 5 was finally over. They could now head back to the Frozen graveyard.
In these fifteen days, all of them managed to break through to the Body refining rank 3. Dawn wasn't able to understand how they were able to break through so fast, wasn't it supposed to take months?
All of them were excited to go back; they couldn't wait to check their affinity and start practising combat techniques.
Finally, Dawn and his team members were standing in front of the elevator, waiting for it to come down.
Nemo was happily chatting with Jack, who had come to meet them after hearing the news of their departure.
The suspicion of Nemo was proven wrong as they weren't able to find anything shady about Jack in these 30 days.
After 5 minutes the elevator gate opened and all of them entered inside one by one, Dawn and the others looked at the place where they spent 30 days with indifference.
Dawn's lips curled into a small smile, he was sure no one was going to miss this place.
