Fearsome potential

Fearsome potential

Match commences!

Both parties assumed a fighting stance. Upon seeing his opponent empty-handed, Rose Marie Marlow became outraged. However, once he assumed a fighting stance, he quickly calmed down. This was the result of his years of training and fighting all sorts of opponents.

Within the fighting ground, the air condensed, and in the next moment, Rose Marie Marlow leaped forward with an explosive boom.

By closing the distance rapidly, he prevented experts from launching any retreating moves,

With his dual combat axe shielding his body, Rose Marie Marlow wasn't in a rush to launch his techniques. He believed once he reached a close enough distance, he would have an extremely high chance of destroying his opponent.

Dawn raised both of his hands and mana started to form in the shape of bullets above his hands, he pointed them in his opponent's direction and opened fire. This was a new move that he learned in the last 4 days.

Dawn's hands turned into an imaginary glock. In an instant, eight bullets shot forward. Seeing them, Rose Marie Marlow revealed a hint of a cynical smile. With just these little things, even if there were thousands of bullets they weren't capable of penetrating his armor. This was simply comical.

As the bullets closed in, just a mere centimeter from Rose Marie Marlow, they suddenly detonated. Fortunately, his armor absorbed the explosive impact, though the force of the blast still sent him sprawling backwards. His expression was one of sheer astonishment.

Water mixed with dirt was splashed in the direction blocking Rose Marie Marlow's vision.

Before he could gain his footing Dawn appeared in front of him like a grim reaper

A 3 feet long Black sword made entirely of mana appeared in his hand out of nowhere.

At this moment, Rose Marie Marlow could only watch on and stare at his opponent's raised sword in shock and bewilderment.

So hopeless!

Sword light flashed and the head of the Rose Marie Marlow rolled on the ground.

Victory for the Wandering Snowflake! Announced the system in its usual monotone voice.

Dawn was once again back in the Dark space, without stopping he once again chose a quick match.

Dawn appeared and looked at the surroundings curiously, this match was going to take place in an arena.

With a flash of bright white light, his opponent also appeared.

Dawn looked at his opponent curiously, his opponent was wearing a cloak covering his body and was holding Dual daggers in his hands, the words Mad Carrot silently floated above his head.

"Bring out your best, I don't like going easy on newbies," Mad Carrot spoke in a solemn voice.

"As you wish," Dawn said with a faint smile.

This mad carrot was really pretentious; he was only at the body-refining rank 5 and was acting like an expert.

As Mad Carrot stared unblinkingly at Dawn, a formless killing aura started to congeal between the two.

Mad Carrot started to take action.

In an instant, he burst forth with an extremely fast speed. But, in Dawn's eyes, he moving slowly like a snail as his perception was that of Peak Body Refining Expert.

Dawn stomped the ground with his feet, he faced Mad Carrot without the slightest intent of dodging, instead, he openly charged forward as if Mad Carrot didn't pose any threat.

Dawn's instantaneous speed and decision to face him head-on were slightly outside of Mad Carrot's expectations. He'd assumed that this brat would at least show some respect for his elders, but none of that was shown!

The next moment Mad Carrot's pupil contracted slightly. As out of nowhere a black hammer had appeared in the hands of his opponent.

In the blink of an eye, the dagger and hammer clashed in mid-air, Mad Carrot felt the shock of impact travel through his bones and he was blasted away, and blood started to leak out of his mouth.

Dawn used the Astral serpent Dance to its maximum, before Mad Carrot could make sense of the situation, Dawn materialized before him like an ominous harbinger of death.

The hammer that he was holding in his hand wiggled, morphing into a gleaming black sword.

Dawn raised the sword and used Shadow Serpent Dance's first move "Snake's Silence."

A dark black sword slash was released from the sword, it struck Mad Carrot without him realizing it. The mad carrot was instantly vaporized by the attack. He turned into particles of light and disappeared.

Dawn let out a tired sigh, for the first time he felt his mana pool wasn't endless. The earlier attack had used his 10 per cent mana. But he was satisfied by its power.

Dawn sighed and decided to stop playing with the weaklings although it was fun it wouldn't result in anything useful.

Victory for the Wandering Snowflake!

Dawn ignored the announcement and silently stood in the dark space. He looked at his profile with a frown on his face.

His win streak was now 9, which was understandable but his followers had increased by 10, making a total of 20 followers. He didn't understand how they were increasing.

With these thoughts in mind, he exited the pod.

Just then he heard a notification from the system.

[Ding! Mana Bending has leveled up. Mana Bending level 4]

Dawn was surprised, it had leveled up again. The skill had leveled up four times in such a short amount of time.

Dawn was in awe of the skill, the skill was versatile, and it had endless growth potential.

He just couldn't understand how such a broken skill existed in this world.

He was going to use it to its maximum potential, and with that, he decided to rest for the night.

Tomorrow, his plan was to seek permission from the captain before setting out.

The next morning Dawn woke up early to cultivate traditionally, he wanted to familiarize himself with his Origin heart and his mana.

Dawn sat cross-legged on the floor and meditated. After one hour he headed for the canteen where he met Ajanta and the others.

All of them had excited expressions on their faces.

"Hmmm, they finally got to know about their affinity." Dawn thought.
