A skinny man in his twenties was running for his life. Behind him were hundreds of monsters chasing after him. The man breathed heavily, his face filled with despair.
The man wanted to scream at the sky to vent the frustration that he had in his heart. Some days ago he was the happiest person ever, he got the university of dreams. He was able to make his parents proud.
But then these monsters appeared out of nowhere and ruined everything.
"Run! Martin Run!" The skinny man roared at the top of his lungs.
Sadly he wasn't able to run fast in minutes he was surrounded by monsters with hideous expressions on their faces.
He was in the middle of the street with nowhere to escape. His heart was beating loudly inside his chest ready to burst at any moment. He clenched his fist and readied himself for the last stand.
A zombie suddenly lunged toward his neck with several others following behind. Martin ducked to avoid the zombie and rolled to the side to escape.
While he was trying to escape, A zombie grabbed his legs and pinned him to the ground. Martin kicked the zombie with his other leg to free himself
But his attempts were futile.
"Move Martin! move," You can't afford to die in the hands of these stupid creatures. A zombie was going to bite his arms, he was a goner if that zombie managed to bite him.
Just when the teeth of the zombie were about to dig into his legs, Martin's body glowed and he disappeared from his original position only to appear several feet away.
Martin had an ecstatic look on his face he couldn't believe it. He had become one of the awakened.

Dawn woke up the next morning feeling refreshed. All of his stress from the trial grounds was washed away. He freshened up in 30 minutes and headed out of his room.
Dawn found Nemo and Ajanta sparring with each other and Ellora watching them from the sidelines. Nemo punched in the direction of Ajanta, who evaded all of his attacks with a small smile on his face.
Ajanta's movement was refined, and his movements were filled with the experience of countless fights. On the other hand, Nemo lacked the experience. His movements were haphazard and full of openings.
"Stop Dodging like a coward." Nemo roared his voice filled with frustration. He once again launched a punch toward Ajant's face.
Ajanta twisted his body while smiling. He grabbed Nemo's hand with one of his arms and smashed him into the ground like a ragdoll.

"Even two-year-olds can fight better than you," Ajanta commented before strolling away.
Nemo continued to lie on the ground with his eyes closed. After some time he got up and dusted off his clothes before silently waking to his room.
"Good morning! Dawn." Ellora greeted him with her melodious voice. Abruptly a surprised expression appeared on her face. She was in disbelief, She took a deep breath and said," You broke through?"
Even Ajanta had to focus on Dawn. He couldn't ignore such an important detail. Such cultivation speed at such a barren place. Although his sister questioned Dawn, he already knew the answer to her question. He could feel the pressure of Body refining rank 4 coming from Dawn, which couldn't be faked.
After hearing her question as he expected. Dawn casually said," I was lucky and broke through last night." Dawn had decided to reveal his cultivation at Body refining rank 4 after some consideration.
"Lucky," Ellora repeated his words and mysteriously smiled.
"Cultivators don't break through as a matter of luck."
Ellora said and walked away with a competitive expression on her face She wanted to break through to the body refining rank 3 as fast as possible.
Ajanta hurriedly followed behind her. He too didn't want to be left behind by others.
Dawn was left alone. He thought if he revealed his cultivation at the body refining rank 9. Will she die from the shock?
Dawn shrugged his shoulders and cleared his head of the useless thoughts. He started walking in the direction of the forest behind the building.
He wanted to test his powers to gauge his potential.
In half an hour he was in the forest surrounded by weird-looking trees. Unlike the usual trees which had green leaves, The trees around him had Black leaves.
As far as his eyes could see there were black trees all around him. Dawn didn't notice the presence or traces of any monster.
He relaxed his body and sprinted, the ground beneath his feet cracked. Dawn instantly accelerated the air around him felt heavier than usual. He was barely able to keep his eyes open.
In a single second, he was 200 metres away from his original position.
Dawn punched the nearby trees. The trees exploded before his punch could even make contact with it. Dawn was satisfied by his strength he was sure no one below body refining rank 9 was his match.
Dawn frowned suddenly he felt a force wrap around him. The force was weaker so he easily dispelled it. He had been feeling this force since morning. But in the morning it was barely anything but this time its strength had clearly increased.
It was most probably his heavenly tribulation.
And the other issue that was in his mind was whenever he tried to move his mana he felt stinging pain. So when he felt the pain he reduced the circulation speed.
Dawn sat on the ground in a meditative position and summoned on barbarian to guard him. He wanted to finish what he was doing from the beginning.
He moved his mana toward his palm. To his thumb then to his fingers. Every time he reduced the amount of mana for better control of it.
After 5 minutes a line of black colour appeared in his palm. Slowly it started to change its shape, morphing into different shapes. Circle, rectangles Dawn controlled the mana to form all sorts of shapes.
But when he tried to form something complicated it collapsed and disappeared. Dawn continued to try again and again without stopping he was determined to form a complicated pattern with mana otherwise he wouldn't go back.
5 hours passed just like this. Dawn didn't even succeed even once but he wasn't disheartened.
He would try again and again. Dawn was happy that no one came to disturb him while he was practising.
Dawn's expression turned serious, he was focusing
On the line of mana above his hand with utmost care. Slowly the mana started to morph into a sword, a blade started to appear above his hand followed by the hilt.
Whoosh! A complete sword barely a centimetre long appeared in his hand. The sword was entirely made of mana.
Dawn was face turned to one that of extreme joy. He couldn't control his excitement, he had finally succeeded after months of training.
