"Now everything makes sense," Peter said, with an understanding smile on his face. Peter wasn't going to take revenge on Dawn. He was arrogant, not stupid.
Peter knew he could never defeat such a guy, and it wasn't like he had completely failed he was able to form a low-grade Origin Core. After comforting himself he silently waited for the transfer to begin.
Dawn was sitting in a meditative position surrounded by Barbarian kings at the Channel Construction Realm. His body right now was in a delicate stage he didn't want any disturbances to happen. Although there were only 3 people left.
His Origin crystal fragments moved toward his heart and started to merge with it. Slowly the crystal turned into a silver colour liquid which covered his heart. Dawn was looking at his heart with a serious expression on his face.
He was prepared for the worst. Suddenly his face contracted in pain. Dawn felt as if his heart was melting and slowly being replaced by something else while he was wide awake.
He clutched his chest, His face was filled with sheer agony. Dawn gasped for breath, beads of sweat started to appear on his forehead.
He wanted to roar but he didn't have the energy to scream, only a faint whimper came out of his mouth.
The torture continued for 5 more minutes he could only clench his teeth and endure.
After 5 minutes that felt like an eternity his pain finally subsided. Dawn glanced inside his body, especially at his heart. The sight left him gobsmacked.
His heart made of flesh and blood was gone replaced by a crystalline heart, covered with intricate runes whose Dawn couldn't understand.
Dawn used his talent to check the information about his heart. A window appeared in front of him.
[Origin Core Heart: Your heart is more resilient than before. capable of circulating your mana around your body at greater speed]
Dawn wasn't able to understand how much performance his heart could improve. But he didn't want to try it at the moment. Dawn knew if he tried his veins would explode making him a cripple.
He had to wait.
With a frustrated smile, he looked around him. His surroundings were covered in deathly silence. Unknowingly the circle had stopped shrinking. 5 meters away from him Phantom Archers Queens were standing silently with an expressionless face.
The tale has been taken without authorization; if you see it on Amazon, report the incident.
Dawn gave them a grateful look and dismissed them.
"Now what he was supposed to do."
Before he could continue thinking, a voice filled with authority resounded in his head.
"Teleportation will begin in 3, 2....1."
Dawn wasn't given any prior warning. He felt space around him twist and turn. He closed his eyes When he opened them again he once back into the corridor where all this started.
The corridor was still as majestic as ever.
"Congratulations! Challenger you have successfully proven yourself worthy, From now onwards this supreme treasure is yours."
A cold voice announced in a monotone way. Before Dawn could process the significance of those earlier words. The voice continued.
"You now have level 1 authority over the treasure, Continue to work hard and your authority will be increased."
"Authority! What authority, what can he do with it."
Dawn murmured in a low voice. He had thousands of questions in his mind. What was this treasure, How can it help him?
While Dawn was busy thinking, a girl appeared in front of him.
She was covered in battle armour from head to toe as if she had just come back from the battlefield. She had an almond shape, hazel eyes sparkling with curiosity. She glanced in the direction of Dawn and bowed
"Greetings master! Please allow me to introduce myself," she said and looked at him with expectations.
Dawn looked at the girl with a dazed look on his face. He had never seen such a beautiful girl before. Dawn only came back to his senses when the girl asked for his permission.
"Nice to meet you, My name is Jewel of Emptiness. I hope you will take good care of me."
The girl introduced herself in a serious voice.
Dawn looked at the girl and realised she was going to be a headache. Why did she ask for his permission, when she clearly didn't care about it?
Dawn didn't beat around the bush and said, "What is this level 1 authority?" He questioned her and knew she somehow was related to this treasure.
A thoughtful full look appeared on the girl's face after hearing his question." Well, that allows you to travel anywhere in this universe where you had been once before and some basic information about the treasure." She explained in a cheerful voice.
After listening to the girl's explanation Dawn fell silent and pondered. If what this girl said was true then this thing was going to be helpful.
"Your name is wordy Don't you have a nickname or any other name," Dawn asked her in a casual voice. He didn't want to continue calling her the girl.
"Nickname? Yeah, I have one. You can call me Sugar if you want." she said sweetly.
Dawn looked at her and rolled his eyes what sort of name was this? Anyway, he decided to call her Sugar from now onwards.
He wanted to go back and rest he was tired from the earlier fights. He said goodbye to her and disappeared. The girl sheepishly smiled and didn't say anything.
Dawn wondered why she sheepishly smiled. He thought about it for a moment and gave up thinking about it.
Dawn suddenly opened his eyes and he was still in his bed. He glanced at his room and everything was the same as before as the time had been frozen here.
Dawn was happy he didn't want to explain the reason for his disappearance for 15 days. He wasn't good at making an excuse.
"What is this place master." Sugar's voice resounded in his mind. Dawn had a frown on his face. He didn't like talking to people, can't she understand and leave him alone?
Dawn wasn't surprised by the fact that the girl could see where he was after all she was living inside the marble, which was inside his sea of consciousness.
He didn't answer her question and went to sleep directly.
