Jack tried to resist the four guys, but how could his 2 hands match the power of eight hands," Boss Mogan why are you doing this." Jack's voice was filled with indignation, he couldn't believe he was being treated like this.
Mogan looked at him with an indifferent gaze, he didn't bother speaking after all the life of nobody like Jack had no significance in his eyes but if he started to treat everyone with kindness how would he be able to stay in the business?
Jack was ruthlessly dragged along the ground before eventually being suspended upside down, his body hanging in front of Mogan like a gruesome human punching bag.
Jack looked at the Mogan silently, he couldn't believe he had worked for this man wholeheartedly for years, was he really worthless in his eyes?
Before Jack could think about the situation any further, a searing pain flared from his butt, he instinctively raised his hand to rub it, to alleviate the pain.
Sadly he wasn't able to as one after other blows landed on his body, each forceful than before. He clenched his teeth in pain.
"You there, bring that little bitch Dawn back to here," Morgan ordered with chilling authority, singling out one of the men encircling Jack. His voice dripped with menacing intent as he declared, "I'll personally attend to his ailment.
The men rushed forward, taking some additional members of the game with him, although he alone was enough but why not? It was a show of force, a reminder of Morgan's authority that couldn't be ignored.
Meanwhile, Dawn was sitting on the floor, drinking porridge. Which his sister had prepared for him with a worried look on her face.
She was looking at him while holding another bowl of porridge in her hand, ready to serve him. Dawn was touched by her kindness.
Such a kind girl had to live in such harsh conditions while her brother begged on the street every day. Dawn couldn't even imagine the hardships that she had to face.
From their earlier conversation, he was able to deduce her name, his little sister's name was Ruby Asylum. She had the same black hair and black eyes as him.
Dawn knew that he was not dreaming, he was definitely in a new world, as it was too real to be dismissed as fake. He was in some sort of parallel world. He tried to communicate with Sugar but she wasn't responding.
Bam! Bam! Bam! Suddenly a loud sound came from the entrance.
"Open the gate and come outside, you little piece of shit." a gruff voice of a middle-aged man came from the entrance, followed by several footsteps.
With a crashing sound, the door of the Dawn hut fell, leaving Dawn and his sister Ruby swiftly encircled by Mogan's menacing men.

"Silently follow us back silently or we…" the gruff-voiced middle-aged man didn't continue, but he looked at Dawn with some anticipation in his eyes, as if wanted him to resist.
While the other men looked at Dawn's little sister Ruby with lewd looks in their eyes.
"Leave my sister alone and I will follow you," Dawn said in a calm voice.
After hearing Dawn's composed response the face of the middle-aged turned red with anger he didn't like the eerie calmness in Dawn's voice.
" You!... insolent brat! Do you actually believe you're in any position to talk back to me?" the middle-aged man growled, his anger palpable as he lunged forward, his fist aimed squarely at Dawn's face.
Before the fist of the man could hit Dawn. Dawn's body reacted on its own and he dodged it. His skill, absolute combat mode, had activated on its own forcing Dawn to think why it hadn't activated before.
Dawn suddenly felt a searing pain in his legs, because of the sudden movement. His present body wasn't used to such rapid movements.
The middle-aged man turned furious," How dare you, man take him down." He ordered the rest of the goons to pin Dawn to the ground.
Dawn felt powerless, he couldn't resist tens of men alone.
"L-Leave my brother alone." Ruby cried at the top of her lungs, her voice filled with fear.
Dawn looked at her in horror, why can't she just remain silent?
"You cockroaches, why are you wasting time here…your Boss must be waiting for your arrival," Dawn spoke in a cold voice to attract their attention.
The middle-aged man walked up to him and launched a kick in his face," You don't need to tell us what to do." the man started to apply more pressure to his leg.
Dawn's nose broke because of the kick and blood started to bleed out of it. The man didn't stop with one kick, he kicked him again and again.
Dawn's nose was bleeding, his lips were bleeding, and his lips and cheeks were swollen because of the continuing torture.
At this time Dawn couldn't remain calm, he was furious he wanted to summon his mana blade and chop these men into a thousand pieces and feed them to the dogs.
It didn't matter how Dawn felt, he was powerless. He couldn't do anything even if he wanted to.
His eyes grew hazy because of the blood loss, he was going to faint at any moment.
He looked at his sister with the corner of his eyes.
Dawn was glad to find she was safe; they had just tied her hands and legs, and with a relieved smile on his face he fainted.
.
.
Dawn woke up to the sound of splashing water, the world had turned upside down for Dawn.
He looked around him, he was in a room hanging upside down like a bat. Some distance away from him was the guy who helped him earlier, the guy was in even more serious condition.
He was bleeding, there were countless wounds all over his body.
Dawn turned his eyes away from him and looked in the direction of laughing men, his sister was lying on the ground, trying to break free from her bindings.
Dawn swore to himself, he was never ever going to be in the same situation again. No one other than him will decide his fate. He will be above all and below none.
He looked around his surroundings and calculated his chance of escaping. His face turned grave, the situation wasn't in his favor.
Before Dawn could think about anything else, a black shadow suddenly materialized out of nothing.
As if time stopped suddenly, the black shadow looked at the people in the room with indifference.
The black shadow raised his hand, and hundreds of black balls appeared out of thin air, moving toward Dawn and others at lightning speed.
Anything that came in contact with the ball was vaporized, Mogan was chatting with his group happily when a ball struck him and he turned into a pile of ash. Followed by his henchmen.
One by one everyone turned into ash, including Dawn's sister Lucky and jack.
And in the end, one ball struck Dawn; in the blink of an eye he too disintegrated into fine powder.
Without looking at the fate of dawn and others the black shadow disappeared.
