Kit wasn’t expecting a notification to go off, so he jumped in fright.

[Spartan Fire Restaurant and Spartan Fire Restaurant Market Stall Fairweather town Linked]
Player Kit can now access the market stall information under a tab in the Spartan Fire Restaurant menu. Other Linked benefits activated.
Please work hard to make your restaurant into a legend!
Holy Pink peaches! This was fantastic! Kit had wondered how he would collect the profits from the market stall. Now he didn’t have to worry, it would automatically be added by the system.
He looked at the rest of the information and wondered what the other benefits to linking the two would be. He decided to check inside the Spartan Fire restaurant menu.
He flicked open his restaurant menu and saw a new tab was added. When he opened the information, it was set out like his restaurant’s. It showed the market stall menu items and the funds available.
There was no information about what linking the two businesses entailed. Kit closed the menu then looked back at the room behind him and couldn’t see any changes, he made a mental note to look out for anything out of the ordinary tomorrow.
Curious eyes centred on Kit as he turned to the others to let them know he was finished. Bree was the first to break the silence. “Kit did something happen when you activated the panel? You look mighty pleased right now.”
Kit didn’t see any harm in telling the others about the linked shops. “My two businesses are linked after touching the plate, I don’t know what that entirely entails, but I can access Spartan Fire Restaurant menu from here and I assume I can access the market stall menu from my restaurant.”
Kettle stepped up beside him and nodded. “It will also link your storage areas Kit, you can access items from your main business from any market stall you link.” Kit’s eyes went round after hearing Kettle speak.
Kit bust out with delighted laughter. “That’s amazing! It also saves me a trip to the Fairweather town quest board. I was going to post for ingredient collection on there tomorrow.”
Kit’s feet moved as he was talking, he went to the storage cupboard to see how he could access the ingredients from his restaurant. He reached out a finger and tapped on the information screen on the cupboard.
When the information screen appeared, Kit saw a new tab, Spartan Fire Restaurant storage. He clicked on the tab and all the ingredients in his storage cupboard in his restaurant were displayed on the screen.
He pressed on a random item to see what would happen. The item enlarged and a box appeared asking him for a transfer total. Kit assumed that this was for the amount he wanted to transfer over to the market stall.
Kit placed an order for 5 swamp dweller apples. In bold letters, complete appeared on the screen. He closed the screen and opened the storage cupboard, inside sat 5 apples. Joy swept through his body, he wouldn’t have to worry about running out of ingredients tomorrow!
He had been concerned about getting enough ingredients to keep the market stall stocked with food after seeing the big crowd outside his market stall earlier.
With another problem solved Kit felt that his market stall was going to take off without a hitch. He happily closed the cupboard and explained to the others how the transfer worked. Kit then ushered everyone out of the stall and back to the Inn.
Nervous chatter followed him back to the Inn, the others were anxious about the opening tomorrow. Bree especially was wound up about the stall opening so soon. “Kit are you sure we won’t need more time before we open? Do we have enough prepared?”
Kit had originally thought they would all be ecstatic about his surprise at the stall being completed so soon. But it looked like it was the opposite, Bree was a nervous mess. “It will be fine, it will be just like working in the restaurant.”

Bree seemed to settle after hearing that. Kit gave her a reassuring smile as they walked into the Inn. Instead of heading to the lounge area, Kit instructed everyone to head in for the night. They were all going to need a good night’s sleep before his market stall opening tomorrow.
A familiar tapping on the door woke Kit then next morning. “I’m up, I’ll meet you in the lounge area Kettle.” When the tapping didn’t persist, Kit assumed he was right in who was at the door this early in the morning. He quickly got ready and headed to the lounge to met with the others.
Light was just beginning to seep through the large glass windows when Kit entered the lounge. Kit rubbed the remainder of sleep from his eyes as he made his way over to the coffee table to grab a piece of toast from the stack already waiting.
Kit’s eyes collided with Bree as he sat down, he couldn’t help chuckling when he saw her, she was currently grinning ear to ear. “Kit! I’m so excited! I can’t wait to open the market stall today.” Kit was happy to see that all her anxiety from last night had disappeared.
Her enthusiasm was contagious, Kit felt himself start to tingle in anticipation. He glanced around the room at the others, the rest of them were beaming like Bree. Kit finished off his bite of toast, “Before we head over, I wanted to say a few words.”
Today was going to be a big event for all of them. So, he wanted to alleviate any worries about things going wrong today before they cropped up. “I want to thank you all for all your help in setting up the market stall.”
Kit bowed to the room, then continued. “Today is the first time opening the stall, so I expect lots of things to go wrong. So… I don’t want anyone to panic if they come across a problem. Just come and inform me, and we can try to figure it out as a team. Ok?”
Bobbing heads followed Kit’s words and as if their agreement was a switch, Kit felt his anticipation to open the stall rush out. He stuffed his toast into his mouth then stood on eager legs to get moving. “Then let’s go!”
Happy calls to work hard followed his words, this made Kit smile around the toast in his mouth. He watched as the others grabbed some toast then stood to follow him out the door.
Kit found that he was able to navigate his way to his stall by himself today. He was in the lead as the group approached the glass door to enter his stall. He placed a hand on the metal panel on the outside of the stall that mirrored the one on the inside.
Excitement swirled in his chest as he watched the doors slide open. They had one hour before the markets officially opened to the public for the day. Kit headed straight for the time freeze storage shelves to fill them with the stock they had prepared yesterday.
He then gathered one of each of his items to place in the display case so customers could see what they were purchasing. Once he was done, he moved around the front of the glass case to see the end result.
A smiling face reflected in the shining surface of the display case. He was delighted at the visual presentation of his creations, he hoped it would help with sales. Kit finally lifted his head to see what the others were up to.
Bree, Blue and Camembert were bustling in the kitchen area. Milka and Mars were behind the counter placing boxes underneath the counter. Kit’s sight moved outside his market stall, a small crowd of people was already gathered.
The reality that his stall was about to open, hit him. He felt sweat start to gather on his brow. Would today be successful or a flop? Kit felt his heart rate pick up with nervous tension.
He patted his chest to try to dispel his anxiety. Mars walked over to him as he was working himself into a panicked state. “Are you going to open the doors?” Kit turned his head to see Mars had a raised brow in query.
Kit swallowed with difficulty, then opened his mouth. “Yeah, I’ll do it now.” He walked over to the panel on the wall and placed a sweaty hand on the cool metal. “Open.” Kit heard a soft swish and watched as the glass door slid open to let in the people waiting outside.
A bustling of curious faces entered his stall, Kit greeted them all as he walked behind the counter. All Kit’s anxiety went up in smoke as his day began, he had no time to pause to concentrate on anything besides his customers.
A steady stream of people kept flowing through his door. Kit had no time to enjoy the successful day, he was forced into the kitchen with Bree due to the large amount of customers.
After the lunch rush was finished Kit found a moment to rest. He wiped sweat from his brow as he leaned against a counter. Bree came over and leaned on the counter next to him. “I didn’t think that a market stall would be this crazy! Kit what will I do when you leave, there won’t be enough help.”
Bree wasn’t wrong, Kit was blindsided by the sheer number of customers that had already walked through the door. The two of them had struggled to keep the magic storage shelves stocked.
Kit would need to place a recruitment notice ASAP. It was a pity that Snickers was not here so she could screen the applicants. Kit was nervous about handling the interviews himself, he remembered the last interviews he did with Snickers.
Neither one of them knew what they were doing, it was just lucky that Snickers had the ability to ready people’s auras. Kit pursed his lips in thought, he wasn’t so good at asking the right questions, maybe he could ask the applicants to show him their skills instead.
Kit started to nod his head agreeing with his own thoughts. He pulled up the Spartan Fire market stall menu and posted a recruitment notice. Hopefully he would have some applicants before tomorrow.
More customers walked through the door causing Kit to go back to work, a tired sigh left his mouth. “Should we close early today, Bree? I don’t think I can keep this pace up for much longer.”
“I want to say no, but I don’t think I will be able to keep going much longer either Kit.” Bree looked as exhausted as he felt. Kit made the decision to keep going for another hour then close the doors.
No one in the shop had been able to take a break today and they would all be needed in the stall tomorrow by the looks of things. Kit’s plans to head back to Spartan Fire tomorrow wouldn’t be going ahead. He would need to stay a few more days to train some new staff.
When Kit finally closed the doors, he wanted to fall down on the spot. His legs were aching from standing for so long. He looked outside the glass windows to see a group of people tiring to figure out how to open his glass doors. Kit pulled out a closed sign and quickly hung it on the doors.
Kit felt guilty for shutting the doors before the official closing time of the market. He hoped it wouldn’t effect his business tomorrow. Tired legs took him over to the others leaning against counters in the kitchen.
Bree started handing out food to the group. Kit happily took a portion and tucked in, he had not eaten anything since the toast this morning. When he finished eating, he opened the market stall menu. He couldn’t wait to see how many sales they had made for the day.
