Chapter 10 : Yuri-chan disappears!

In the land of renewal, many things had changed since the first time Yuri arrived. A gigantic tree now took almost all of the place, it looked pretty young, still growing, and yet its roots dug into hell and its arms supported paradise. In the middle of the trunk was a hole, And in this hole, a small plain that had an illusion woven around it that made people see a multicolored sky and an endless void outside.

R eyed its surroundings critically. Illusions were its specialty after all, there was no way it would fall for that.

R spared an even look to the only other person here. Golden hair, eyes, and in adult form, stigmata covering her body, one of Lily's avatars was looking down at it, legs crossed on a crystal branch. Well, the illusion was supposed to hide most of it. The eyes and stigmata, mainly. R felt the need to swear, that meant Lily made a 100% recovery, this was bad. It emitted a fake smile and started the spar.

"Ah, I wonder, are you really the Queen ? You remind me more of a certain Resentment festering under royal airs..."

She waved its remark away with a scoff.

Strangely enough, even with my administrative abilities, I couldn't delete her... You'll find her on one branch. I trust you remember how to climb?"

As R was nearing the hole toward the void, it turned its head towards the amalgamation.

"I look forward to the day the two idiots discover what you're doing."

"Why, so you'll get to see the chaos?"

R's hand clamped on my jaw and its eyes look into mine.

"The discarded One. Called Yuri. I don't have a name anymore."

The more I speak, the more my self comes back. Or whoever I am? It's pretty hard with all that background noise.

R's head tilts.

"So she's that far gone. Why are you there though?"

"She told you."

In a blur, I'm looking at my sleeping body, in a devastated faculty.

We look at each other and I break the silence.

I don't dare to open my eyes, the lights would hurt.I push it away and start purging myself from the liquid in my respiratory system. Eugh, disgusting.

I grumble, but still call it out. Seriously, out of a video game ? Even I could do better than that!
