That white plushie like creature ( Barbecue ?) that wanted me to become a magical girl when I was 12 didn’t look suspicious either at that time. Though that deal ‘Become a Magical Girl, vanquish Wraiths and get a wish’ SHOULD have seemed suspicious. I’m glad that that Oriko girl distracted it.

I moved quickly in the street and there were a few high school students walking about. I suddenly noticed something dangerous.
“There is a crossing ahead…”
Two of the high schoolers around gave me a weirded out look, but that’s because they didn’t know!

I stuck out a foot, and then quickly walked back.
(As if) On cue, a high school girl with a slice of bread in her mouth appeared from behind the wall and collided with one of the two boys. She was helped up by the guy and blushed furiously.
Phew. First meeting avoided. Now should be safe to move. Not quite a truck, but still potentially dangerous.
Oh! There’s the store! Let’s hurry up and get in before something happens.
O-kay! Now to find a salesman…

“…Yes, I guarantee you that this equipment follows the highest of security measures. I’d advise to wait an hour or two after the launching, so that there would be less people connecting at the same time.”

“You’re seriously lucky to have that one though, I know people who’d gladly sell their houses for this.”

I answered noncommittally to the salesman, who looked a bit tired after our little discussion. As I was going out, I heard some noise, and immediately hid back inside. There are shady men coming here! After a few minutes, I heard some screaming and paid close attention to the noises.
“…. Get you back!”
“Heh, try as you wish, but now I’ve got your ‘Poseidon’s Blessing’, good luck for that!”
As the guy went away laughing, my shounen senses were tingling.
Hum, that guy shook down one of the lottery winners and went away with one of the game’s unique blessings? That’s a protagonist in the making.

I look at my usb key.
Aaaaah, there was the trap.

On that day, Suzuhiro Tasuku didn’t get one of the twenty divine blessings distributed by the game’s developers, but instead, the only titan’s blessing ‘Cronos’ Blessing’ that gave him access to the unique Skill ‘ Chronos’ Kingdom’. Fun fact is, there was a mix up in the deliveries, since Cronos’ Blessing was supposed to never be used, Yuri should have received Artemis’. Not that she'll ever know

Suzuhiro Tasuku was your average 17 years old Japanese teenager. That is until he received a special prize from a gaming company, to play the brand new virtual reality game ‘Another Side’.
Attacked and robbed of his key, he is saved by a mysterious beauty ( *cough**cough*) who gives him another chance to raise to new heights.
Now in game, and armed with his new skill, Tasuku will bravely fight his way to the top, making new friends to help him in his quest and vanquishing his every opponents while trying to solve the mystery of the ever illusive ‘Freyja’ ( nickname chosen by the players) that gave him his skill !
Uwaaaa, MC-Chan dodged a really troublesome situation here …

I don't really like Writing author's notes in the chapters themselves, that messes up my word counter real bad.
Sooooo, one of the ideas was to write the synopsis of the story MC-Chan gets involved with, I hope you'll appreciate the irony of someone desperately dodging the protagonist flag, but still ends up being part of the story .
