I used Earth magic to create pyramids by moving and molding the Earth, not by creating something from nothing. I could have summoned Earth spirits to do something similar, but I decided to mold the Earth for a particular reason. I continued to make numerous pyramids across the globe, each one engraved with many runes. The tops of the pyramids were made of gold and resembled what the Pyramid of Giza would have looked like in its prime. This created a defense network for the planet. I also created the entrance of each pyramid as a spatial door, linking it to a specific set of coordinates.
Using Earth magic, I created a massive chasm underground and then summoned some spirits to start making an elaborate underground training facility to teach magic. It was very accommodating, given my current strengths and resources. The artificial structures on this planet had already been destroyed by the mana storm, but I managed to create a classroom, a training room, a residence for myself, and one for the other 20 former AIs. In addition, I created a giant maze. Once everything was finished, I decided I would honestly teach them, so I even prepared a combat training room in addition to the practice training room.
After about 20 years, I had finished building all of these pyramids, even with Earth magic accelerating the process. As for why I didn't just summon Earth spirits, well, that was actually more obvious—I needed the materials to originate from this planet to set up the planet's defenses. Each of the pyramids shot out a golden beam of light from the top. The pyramids were solid blocks instead of being made up of many stone blocks stacked on top of each other due to being created with magic. Naturally, I summoned some Earth spirits and had them build out the underground structure since only the pyramids themselves were part of the defense mechanism.
I spatially linked the doorways into the pyramids to this underground structure using spatial magic and darkness so you couldn't see into the entrance, creating the illusion that it went further in. This created the illusion that there was some kind of corridor that went further in. It would be easily seen through by most individuals who could use magic. However, you could also exit any pyramid from inside the underground structure using the same door, providing convenience to move around the world using this trick. I had added this runedek enchantment to all of the pyramid entrances.
I wasn't particularly good at spatial magic, but I could still use some of it, and imbuing a door with the spatial attribute is very easy. I just had to spatially link two points, and since neither of the things moved, it was actually pretty easy to do as long as you know their spatial coordinates, which you can find out with a very basic space spell. By adding some small adjustments, you could link multiple doors. After 20 years, it seemed like they had finally adjusted to their bodies. I decided to tell them the first step in learning magic. I summoned a spider spirit and had her create blindfolds.

"Wear these blindfolds and then enter this maze," I said. "We're going to train you to not be too reliant on your eyesight. Once you've mastered your other senses, we'll work on your sixth sense. This is very important. Your sixth sense is one of your most important senses and will be extremely useful and necessary to cast magic. It allows you to sense the flow of mana within your own body and the flow of mana around you. But first, you'll have to master your other four senses. Only when you've mastered all five senses can you hone your sixth sense properly. Once you mastered all five senses, I'll use rune deck enchantments on the blindfolds so they shut off your other five senses, so you can work on honing your sixth sense. The maze will randomly rearrange itself, so trying to memorize its layout is pointless."
"This is the training room to hone one's senses. Unlike the Adventurer's Guild maze, which they also used to train one's senses, this one's loaded with far more deadly traps. After all, I didn't just use magical traps, which would be detected pretty easily. I used standard physical traps. These are harder to detect because, unlike magical traps that give off a faint magical energy signature, these physical traps don't come with a convenient warning."
After a while, everyone mastered their senses. Even their sixth sense was fully mastered by using this maze exercise. After that, I decided to explain what magic was at its fundamental levels.
"Magic is the manipulation of mana. One's elemental affinity is very easy to find out. Close your eyes and feel the mana around you. Feel the mana that calls to you. There are many elemental manas, and in truth, everyone's mana is on its own unique wavelength. By feeling the mana around you, you should be able to feel the mana that calls to you. By doing that, you can find out your affinity or affinities."
Once you find out your affinity, you'll know which magic to work on. As I pointed out, in combat, the magic you have an affinity for is important. While I don't recommend just learning the magic you have an affinity for, since in other applications having a large versatility is better, you should definitely focus on your affinity. In combat situations, it's important to have strong power. Magic you don't have an affinity for is difficult to raise to a level that could be usable in combat, especially when dealing with opponents at a higher level or the same level as you.
Magic is divided into two types: regular magic and spirit magic. Spirit magic involves summoning a spirit. Spirits have the ability to use magic to manipulate and create natural phenomena. This differs from creating magical phenomena. For example, magical fire is more accurately just mana that takes the form of fire and has the properties of fire but is not truly fire. This is why it can even burn in the vacuum of space as long as it is supplied with mana. However, spirit fire is no different from naturally occurring fire.
